Came back to say, thank you! This does work and I have it set up in my greenhouse next to my chicken coop. Found the rat dead 2 days after I set it up. I feel better knowing I'm not harming my girls or the owls and hawks that live among us. Thank you, again!
So very glad. Thanks for getting back to me on that. kzhead.info/sun/bKewqrRveHmHrYU/bejne.html
THIS IS WHAT I WANTED TO KNOW! Ty
I tried everything I could find to get rid of rats in my fathers garage for years , I tried this and IT WORKED , just takes a bit of time not too much change the mix about 3 time and NO MORE RATS !!! 👍👍👍👍
Excellent! Thanks for letting us know.
Good evening, I have a serious problem with Frigging “GroundHogs” do you have any suggestions?
Exlax or juicy fruit chewing gum.
How long about
Finally I’ve been waiting for this update! Thank you!
No problem!
I just tried this mix and no more mice or rats dropping. Great solution.
Glad it helped
We’re in an RV under a carport on concrete with storage/shop. I’ve had mice issues over the last 4 years and a few got inside rv two of those years. After first time I removed every drawer and opened every cabinet to find their access. Stuffed steel wool at every pipe opening then glued a piece of flashing down with cutout tightly around pipes. After 2 years they found another way in and then I saw your first video. There were also signs of them in shop. I tried just one container of your recipe last year and haven’t had issues since. I have pets and also was concerned about wildlife. Thank you for sharing.
EPIC. Thanks so much for letting us know your outcome.
Thanks for your method! It works so far! There were mice in the house and since using your plan I haven't seen any! Great Job! You saved me money on poison!😁

Thank you! I live in the woods and rodents ate the insulation off the wiring in my vehicle, causing major problems. The entire ECU wiring harness had to be replaced, costing several thousand dollars. As I later found out, this is a fairly common problem in rural areas. I'll let you know how your concoction works.
Oh no. Yup, they rendered my tractor out of commission.
Thanks Jerry! Gonna have to give this a try.
Please do!
I so appreciate your videos on safe for others along with rodent control.🙏
So nice of you
This has worked for me and it makes me feel better that it is something that will not harm my dogs or cats. Also this does not harm wildlife.
Thank you Pam for letting me know of your success.
Thank you for this update. We're going to try this. We like that is not poisonous to anything but the rats & mice
I like it too.
What I've heard in addition to baking soda causing them to bloat, the corn meal in the jiffy mix causes a blockage in their intestine. I can't speak on the truth of it but, the two together supposedly creates the perfect storm.
I did not know that.
Yes I've found out today they can't digest cornmeal. It apparently kills mice very quickly. Found some cornmeal in Asda today so my mixtures gone down tonight...fingers 🤞
Tfs this update. We are having a major problem with rats around our home. They’ve got to go, asap! I’m definitely going to try this method. We have lots of animals so i didn’t want to put out any poison because of our animals and because of our friendly nature animals. We have a lot of wooded area around our home so the rodents have become a nuisance to us. Thank You again! Wishing everyone a Very Merry, Blessed & Christmas & New Year! 🙏🏼

When I talked to you a few weeks ago I was thinking actual cornbread with too much baking soda so I put off making cornbread. And then I decided to Google it really quick for your recipe and I'm running low and baking soda but I'm trying it tomorrow I've had what's definitely some rats getting into my rabbit feed and my chicken feed and it just drives me crazy. We have fields and our neighbor loves woodpile so there's never a shortage of rodents in the spring. I hate resetting traps because sometimes they get smarter than the traps.

This is great!! I am going to try this in my shed. We have always had the usual problem with rodents (live in the country). But when a neighbor started burning old brush piles on his property we have been over run by rats. Like you I dont want to use the poisons for obvious reasons. If this works it will be a god send. Thanks for the videos. Do you know if this works on voles? I'm sure the concept is the same... I'm just not sure how often, if any, they leave their tunnels and search above ground for food.

We have roof rats in Phoenix AZ and my pit bull kills them but im going to try this. Nothing else has worked so ill let you know!
Go for it. My cats are getting fat. They just keep coming in from the wilderness.
Can you please tell me do you put the bait out in powder form? OR do you mix it with water and make mush? Thank you.
Dry, powder form. Place is on a cottage cheese container lid and under the shed, in the attic, in your crawl space under the house. Magic happens. Then they stink. Only for about ten days though.
I have heard of poisons that kill the rats and dehydrate them so there is no scent. What do you think can be added to your mix to dehydrate them?
I just put up with the stink for ten days and plug the gaps where they got access. no problems since.
I don't see evidence that is is working. I out out a small plate with equal parts of baking soda and cornbread mix but it is DRY. Is that correct? Do I add some water to make it into a paste? Please advise...
Yes, dry. In time they will eat, leave and go back to the nest and die. If you have an infestation, it will take some time for them all to diminish the population.
Worked great for me. Only thing that cleared up the infestation.

Repellents don't work, I trap them with conibear traps. Caught 43 on my property since 2015.
In my past experience you can coexist with these guys till they desire what’s in your garden. Try dry ice in the active burrow then cover with a rock or dirt. they will go to sleep peacefully and never wake up.
I'm in Canada and on an island so had to order the Jiffy after watching your video - Just got it - ! What happens to them after? Mine are in the house, I'm afraid of tons of burst rats everywhere. Any attractant will work.
Rats have apparently a digestive tract of about 1 meter (3 ft) which is quite substantial compared to body length... and is it effective to crush one or two paracetamol or aspirin into the mix?
Could add that to the mix, yes.
What is the aspirin or paracetamol for? Deading the pain?

Yes, it will kzhead.info/sun/bKewqrRveHmHrYU/bejne.html and kzhead.info/sun/n9uzh9R6fqBmgac/bejne.html
Will this hurt or kill skunks? We have rats in our back shed (our lab puppy goes crazy, sniffing out the rats.) However, my next door neighbours have a skunk family, that comes into our yard and I am fearful of the skunks spraying our boy.
It may. kzhead.info/sun/gbmuoaWlfGOEeHA/bejne.html
I’m thinking of trying this for rabbits, skunks and chipmunks, I try my best to keep my stuff sealed so they go somewhere else but my shed must be too comfortable.Maybe I should get rid of the luxurious mattress and stuff.Ive trapped so many skunks and raccoons that when i got tired of traps I used super fly bait and cola. But because, as you say about poison, you need to be cautious about other animals. (Pets) It sure did work tho , once ingested they couldn’t walk more than a few feet from the bowl
Go for it. I explain more here kzhead.info/sun/gbmuoaWlfGOEeHA/bejne.html

I did this about a week ago. I haven’t hear any noise above my bedroom in the past few days so I hope it’s working. We’ve got rats and mice. I live in a barn apartment and the hayloft is above my bedroom and you could hear them chewing on the wood and running around. They only show up every few years though so I really hope it’s working.

So I’ve had success in the past with this method. I’ve had on off issues with rats eating every piece of fruit in my trees. This year I noticed new burrow holes after the snow melt it’s been 2 weeks the rats ignore the mix completely I set up a trail cam so I can actually see these guys foraging around the mix but not taking the mix or even showing interest. Anyone else have rats that got wise to this mix

My apt mice dont seem interested in the mix 😞
I'm very keen to try this. The rats are in my attic. I'm worried if I put this in the attic, they will die in the attic and then I have to go looking for the bodies. Will this drive them out?

@@pinemeadowshobbyfarmafruga8319 horrifying! 😮🤮
Have you ever tried using a 5 gallon bucket half full of water with a layer of sunflower seeds floating on top? If you put a ramp to the bucket, the rodents will climb up and jump right in. I use baking soda and sugar for the ants.
Have not tried the seeds yet.
I have for chipmunks. Works great 5 Gal bucket with about 6" of water and just enough seed to cover the top of the water. They really like pumpkin seeds but they are to expansive for me.
We have a neighbor that is a hoarder and she has a huge rat population that she has been feeding with her chicken feed. We have tried everything from the bucket trap to enclosed rat poison boxes and nothing worked accept for a live trap in front of the rat poison box entry hole. That was over the winter where we were able to catch and dispose of 6 rats. So far they have not gotten into our garage or house that we are aware of but we don't want that to happen and have been trying to stay vigilant about trying different methods. I came across your video and will be trying it but my question is does this attract ants with the sweet Jiffy Mix and Honey? My concern is that the ants will eat it before the rats do or we end up with a colony of ants eating it that the rats don't want to go near it. If anyone has had ants eating the bait what did you do to deter them or did the rats eat it anyway?

Will this work on muskrats?
It should.
I tried this and now I smell a dead rat/mouse in my home somewhere.
It happens. The good news is, the odor haunts for only ten days.
We have a shed that is open.... I have not found the deceased target rodents... but the bait is missing daily. It occurred to me (i'm super smart, for sure!) that all *kinds* of critters could be going into the shed (*duh*). Unless we can shut the shed completely, we will not know for sure if the rats are dead and countryside critters are not coming from miles around just for snacks.
Should be fine with most other critters. Just keep the portion size small though. I'm going to have to work on finding something these rats like better than honey cornmeal. Had chickens here for three years and have successfully managed to keep the rats from ever being a problem until this year. My uppity rats turn their noses up to the cornmeal 🤣
Others are using cornmeal with chicken broth and baking soda.
peanut butter mix
Rats at my house wouldn't eat it from any type of container so I packed the visible holes with the blend and covered them with some small pieces of 1x6 board to keep the rain out, worked like a charm. Unfortunately I have a few irresponsible neighbors so I'll have to keep some in the holes at all times as a new rat family will simply move in within the week :/

Is this safe around dogs
So long as you keep these portions to just four teaspoons each, should be good. I answer your questions and also offer solutions and products to repel rodents: kzhead.info/sun/gbmuoaWlfGOEeHA/bejne.html - and Huntavirus by CDC kzhead.info/sun/aMydo86dmYOwqoU/bejne.html. Thanks so much for watching.

Will It kill racoons ? I need a raccoon poison
No it will not.
I saw a rat in my backyard.. I set up my camera on the 24h. I mixed together,, cake mix, pumpkin seeds, peanut butter and ½ a box of baking soda. Every morning the dish is licked cleaned lol Just a couple of pieces of shells from the pumpkin seeds on the ground. On my video it seams to only be 2 rats. On the 25th I thought heard them While putting their dish out . Thinking they were waiting for me to leave.. And on video it showed I was right. Lol Only 2 minutes it took them to trigger the camera .. On the 2nd night , I ended up mixing the other ½ of the box of baking soda into the batch. For 3 nights they have been enjoying a whole box of soda.. They are still very lively, running around . I think its a mom and dad. 1 of them stays at the dish , While the other one leaves, for a couple of minutes then comes right back. Maybe there home is very close and that one is going to feed their babies this stuff. Now its 1am on the 28th. Dish is licked clean.. Im happy you said this can take up to 2 weeks. Time will tell.. Here is a idea of a video for you lol If you cought one and put it in a cage. Fed it baking soda and video it. You would have the only KZhead video on KZhead showing 100% baking soda kills rats. There is hundreds of videos saying it works. There is none proving it. Like a time laps video.. Just a thought. Because thats what I was looking for tonight. When I found your video. Yes at least you showed us the dead one. Thats why I had to put a comment in. I liked your video. Thanks for all the work you do making videos for us. Cheers from Toronto Canada
I do have video of them eating the stuff and disappearing. I find the body and feed it to the crows.
I'll let you know when their gone. I really appreciate that you reply to your comments. Thanks again for your video
@@420memeshere any updates on the rodent saga? I read your comment and am curious as to how it panned out. Thanks!
Did it work?

I know that this works with rats and mice.............but I do NOT want to kill chipmunks. Do you think this will also kill Chipmunks??
Yes, It does work on them.
I like your formula but the music is not very nice , keep up the good work😊
Sorry for that
This method does not work. My house still has the rodents crawling all over the attic and garage.
I found that it can take several weeks to finally get a handle on the infestation of the entire colony. If you are over run with them for quite some time, chances are, you have at least a hundred of them. Keep fresh stuff out every few weeks. If you see disturbance in the dish then you know they are eating it, going to the nest and dying. As the babies grow up, they journey out looking for food and eat it and die. Also it is important to find where they are gaining access to your attic and plug the gaps. I use that expanding spray foam insultation in a can. It has worked miracles for me. Once the gap is plugged, and the beasts are all poisoned, there are no more scampering. I have been rodent free in the house for quite some time now.
