Nadal to Thiem after this match: "If I wanted to lose to someone it would be you because you deserve it."
It’s a shame the prince was never able to take the thone

But Djokovic is a different story
@@parzival8061 ftg
Every player's Nightmare to face Rafa in the final of Roland Garros as the" final boss " on Philip Chatrier. Total annihilation.
I remember the intensity of the first set was absolutely insane
After the second set the beast was unleashed.
The first 2 sets were like an MMA battle on a tennis court. It was really brutal
Watching Rafa on clay is just… unreal. Even as a Novak fan, I can sit here and watch him beat down anyone on the dirt (besides Novak) any day. If there is one tennis record no one will ever touch is his clay record and the 14 RG titles. The hardest challenge in sports is to beat this guy at Court Philippe-Chartrier. An absolute monster
And compare his titles to Djokovic weak era stat padding 😂.
@@Laland_1196 I am talking about Djokovic.
@@RaviKumar-ns2vw weak era stat padding, but leads in h2h against both nadal and federer. you are funny my guy
I think this is Rafa most difficult match at RG when he’s been fit
Guys. Imagine if clay season is like hard court around 9 months. How many throphies will nadal pull?
Lol dream well
@@parsar9577What’s funny Nadal is a legend have you started watching tennis yesterday or what

300, at least?
200
Its amazing he never gets bored or under appreciate of winning a french open title.
I miss the old Court Philippe Chartrier when there was no roof. It felt like the Coliseum with two gladiators fighting to the death.
When the games were postponed every time it rained, good times.
The greatest there was, the greatest there is and the greatest there ever will be 🐐🇪🇸
Philippe Chatrier court is the private patio of Rafa.
For me personally, this was the best Rafa's RG outfit ever. Even the 2018, 2021 and 2017 were good.
The 2020 was the best of all
2013 too
2010 was the best for me
2022
Even though he didn't win, my favorite one is from 2015
So maybe let's upload full match?
Please upload more nadal matches at rg ❤❤
Every final ❤️- 14-0
Great idea!!!@@thememoryremains23
Rafa maravilhoso 🎾💪🏼🤩👏🏼👏🏼
It's a shame about Thiem, the injury cut his progress in his game quite a bit...
maybe the best that's never won RG.
And now Thiem is struggling in Challenger tournaments. How the mighty have fallen.
5 years later, Nadal is still present, while Thiem has completely disappeared... Nadal will make his last Roland Garros this year. If Nadal wins at Roland Garros this year, it will be one of the greatest sporting achievements of all time.
It was an amazing match!
Thiem was a monster on clay. But Rafa is rafa.
Je comprends les sous-titres en anglais mais pourquoi pas aussi des sous-titres en français pour RG ?
Par ce que y a que toi qui comprends pas l'anglais
@@ismailedoomun8006 Sorry, what do you mean?
Que bonito es el tenis en arcilla !!
El mejor de todos, por lejos la mejor superficie
full match plssss
@RolandGarros can you upload rafael nadals 22 grand slams again that you took down please
I miss thiem...
It was the worst camera angle at RG ! way too high its not pleasing to watch ! nowadays much better
It looks like an easy 3-0 win at first glance, but I was watching the match live and Rafa was sweating cannonballs to win the first set. Losing it after going up a break was the breaking point for Thiem.
That year, only Federer at 38 got the hardest draw at his slam😢. Novak only had to face nadal at AO. Rafa only need to face roger at RG. But Roger had to face both Novak and Nadal at Wimbledon. Both Nadal and Novak had a bit of luck, but roger didn't got that luxury, else it was his Wimbledon for sure 😢
When thiem won the 2nd set it was the last time Rafa was dropping a set in a final of RG
To place in the intro video Federer and djokovic is like wtf, Borg is dismissed and those two mentioned? LoL they were dominated for the whole career there by Rafa and marketing still is pushing them
I think Thiem fist pumps after literally every point he wins
By the 4th set, Thiem had already lost the match in his head
that's how doping robs you from winning RG
Go watch cricket
Worst camera angle I’ve seen
Nadal is only the king of clay otherwise he is lol😂
He won Wimbledon Australian open and Us open all at least 2 times what are you yapping about
hate on him more, kid. you have never seen his game when he was young . he went toe to toe with djoko in his peak years and on djoko's peak surface , hard court from 2009 to 2014 . a bit of a shame he got that knee injury in the early 2010s and then the plethora of injuries in 2014 to 2016. And he won 8 non clay grand slams. and during the toughest era ever, facing peak fed on grass and then peak djoko on hard. Not like djoko who won half of his titles after fed neared retirement and rafa wasnt even there for half the season since 2018
You are lol for saying such a stupid thing about a legend of the sport
Thiem was robbed! He had no rest day between the semifinal against Djokovic (6-2, 3-6, 7-5, 5-7, 7-5) and the final!
Yeah that must have been tough for him. But Nadal had no rest day either, right? Thiem could beat Nadal in Best of 3 sometimes, but Roland Garros os a different story. Let's hope Rafa can play another strong tournament this year!
@@alexlackner1945 Nadal had the rest day because he played the day before Thiem
@@alexlackner1945 Rafa has no chance to win Roland Garros
@@th0maskraus that is crazy, why was that kind of scheduling allowed? In RG of all places?! Games are super physical there.
@@th0maskraus i know it's very unlikely but i would love to see him play in good spirits and relatively good physical condition one last time.
