You guys literally need to do this challenge but all 3 of you purchase a car.....then do the comparisons and tests....would be amazing!
This is an original idea. A car show should use it and call it something like "the cheap car challenge". I'm sure it could be a million dollar TV series.

@@valdisj2429 nah i dont get all the hype for german cars. No where near as reliable and it looks like shit. That audi looked so outdated. The MR2 is just fire, great lines, mid engine, rear wheel drive. They made a great choice
@@1994ToyotaCelica i refuse to believe that jdm ir more reliable sorry m8. German cars can really take a harder beating. Jdm is only used on one type of road. Germans atleast where i live in the baltics no jdm car would compare to a daily driven audi 80 their just build better. I had an audi 80 it had literaly no rust and its almost 30yr old

Would've been a bit of a waste of a nice old audi. I love the shenanigans from these guys but it's not like they could do it properly.
I used to have B4 90 the autobox really is a let down. Took audi 2 more generations to get the right trans.

Actual price is $8,000,000 but Facebook wouldn't let me put that as the price for a 2003 WRX with the engine out.
Still, Gumtree had its problems too. How many times have you clicked an ad on there only to see "price is for engine only. The car is not for sale, only breaking for parts"

@@v6tex yup lol. they mentioned it somewhere and said the car got sold off because there wasn't that much interest in the build but I honestly don't think that was the actual reason
This is the sort of content I absolutely love to see, it’s just the affordability of nice rusty shitboxes especially with car prices rocketing it’s nice to see that you’re able to buy decent cars at a relatively cheap price
Not sure about decent. I bought one decent car back in 2008 and its still fine now. Before that I had 17 different cars all were crap and broke for many different reasons. Mot time was always terrifying

@@Alekpowah haha the MR2 doesn’t seem too bad, there are many good cars available for £1000, we had a 05 corolla, put 18k miles on it and never spent a penny on it, sold at 152k mikes and it’s still going now. I’ve got a 05 Yaris now that I bought for £1000 as a run around, still doing jus purpose, put nearly 5000 miles on it

Is that a K1? My mate has a bright orange K1 which makes 400BHP, absolute monster it’s for sale at the moment though but he’s asking £10,000.

"1234, you know the facebook rules. It means I'm a twat" I can't tell you how many times I saw a car for $1234 and was like "wow, this looks great for the price", because I forget people are assholes
because facebook flags it as too expensive, if you enter the VIN for example and it checks out as an 06 mustang gt despite beeing a genuine Shelby 281 for example. FB market place is bull

Me too! I thought they were for sure going to buy the Audi after that test drive, the MR2 doesn't have the same cool factor yet because of its condition
The thing is if the mr2 want bought, it would have gone to scrap if it hadn’t been refurbished or tuned

Probably because the question is which is cooler. The Audi 80 is a great car, but it's not that cool compared to an MR2.

a shame, especially because you just know that that audi, for that price, would have been in mint condition.. Audi 80s drive very unique, it remains wonderful to look over that long bonnet, and the B3 models are very light and therefore easy to throw through the bends. I love oldtimer Audi’s!😍

Kinda bummed you didn't go Audi, we've seen a couple MR2's on the channel but a classic Audi would be a neat change of pace.
When you list most old cars on Facebook, their algorithm says "this vehicle is not worth £8000" like the P100 and doesnt allow you to advertise it for £8000. Its a pain in the arse, hence all the £1234 and £8000 not £800 as li"sted
