I bought an ex rental wrecked Ferrari F430 with a gated manual gearbox. I have spent 6 month rebuilding the engine, the gearbox and the entire car but in this video i finally finish the car and get it driving for the first time after that i gave it to my dad.

Matt you are so lucky to do these things with your dad . I'm 57 and lost my dad when I was 27 , he taught me everything I know about cars and bikes and how to repair and mend things, I still have all his tools etc which he left to me. When I watch your videos I see a bit of me and my dad in them and the father/son bond. this video brought a tear to my eyes. Look after your dad (and mum) the time together is precious !

my condolances. Even worse, being 31 with a father that ignores you, the last 3 years he just started ignoring me, i even bought a house closer to him so we could get even closer than we were, but when i did, he started ignoring me. I do believe it is because i am still together with the girl i have been for 10 years now, we had a rough year in 2020, but we worked it out, made it back together, and then all this shit happened :( Its like having a father, but not a dad, he is here, but he aint, and man its heartbreaking

I am 44 yrs old and lost my dad at 19 I think about him every day. He was a car guy and loved all kinds of vehicles. Seeing you and your dad together makes me so happy and yes I cried over this episode… much love to you and your crew ❤

Its the perfect car... not only was it gifted to him by his son, he helped his son rebuild it. The memories attached to the car is absolutely priceless.
So emotional man, I worked as a car repairman at Citroen in Amsterdam. I was 19 at the time, I bought a damaged Fiat Bravo online and rebuild it with my father. My father past away 9 years ago and when I see Matt repairing cars together with his dad makes me feel proud that I could do that with him. Rest i peace Pa, I miss you❤
