Proper training is actually that they need. Nothing wrong with Old machine. They work just as well.
in Germany they almost have forgotten to use systems they used some 50 or 60 years ago . The reason for this is poverty makes resourcefull

It is surprising! So many efforts, so many imagination and skill! Such a brave approach! But at the end, I doubt it will work. So many mistakes! Is it a real process of reparation, or just to entertain the you tube audience....
They do seem to follow an unconventional path. Heating the material whilst turning it seems strange, is it , I don't know?
@@davidturner8689It's for annealing the hardened part of the shaft for better machining.
@@davidturner8689 In the factory, this shaft was quenched and tempered. Therefore it is very hard. In order to make it posible to turn, he heat it up to around 800-900 deg Celsius to convert martensite into austenite. While cooling, austenite transfers to ferrite/pearlite structure. Now it is possible to turn. After the mechanical treatment, that part should be heated up to 800-900 deg Celsius, quenched and tempered again. In other case it will be soft and ductile therefore it will get twisted.
The heating is not the prob.the prob.is I think that gear shaft are not properly aline or straight...that's the prob...
One wonders how long & strong is that stick welding job. + the tempering of all metals involved is all over the place. 🧐 How long will this geared shaft last ? Mind you in Pakistan, they tend to greatly overload their lorries. 😳
Конечно это не ремонтопригодно все понимают это. Но деталей замены нет. То что он сделал надо сдать в металолом. Но если бы он сделал внутренние шлицы плюс посадка на горячую а так же закалку и после отпуск нормализацию. Это бы было более надежно чем забивание молотком и обваривание.

В металлолом пойдут только стружка и обрезки . Из этого металлолома сделают чудесный сплав, отольют заготовки и сбацают новый "вал-шестерню"! Полный пиздец!
Самое интересное этот металлолом тебя переживёт.
При сварке произошел изгиб. Хорошо видно биение шестерни. Я уже не говорю о др. косяках. Деталь нельзя ставить даже временно, т.к. это чревато поломками сопряженных деталей!
Отломили цельнометаллический хвостовик. Что же будет с такого рода сваркой?..

if it is just temporary for the urgency its quite good...
I don’t agree with joining parts that are major, torque or stress in most cases, but this is the best joining I’ve ever seen. also I’m not a pro in any stretch but I’ve seen people just weld pieces together that have been previously welded and you can see that that’s happened and I’m thinking to myself. This is just work in this case though Primo work.

Я уверен эта работа выполнена в два этапа!После сбора детали и первичной прихватки сваркой обязательно нужно померять эту деталь в на месте в коробке передач!

The wobble of the piece is visible with naked eye. What are they doing there? Are they for real?
They are the reason things keep braking...
Here the turning work is mainly welding; a new one would probably cost more expensively. Make a pin with a diameter of 30 mm and insert it into the center of the shaft.

Поставят разбитый подшипник компенсирующий ужасное биение и поедут. Хватит на месяц а может и на час.Жесть😂 Про такой ремонт мне рассказывал отец , но это было в послевоенные годы

That was wobbling so bad. Why didn't he chuck it with an indicator? Also with all that effort to cut threads, the grinder pissed me off. You can make an indexing tool with a grinder attachment if you really don't have a horizontal mill.

Original heat treatment lost. Insert unknown material. Welding rod unknown material,. Hand-made spline ends full of potential stress raisers. No new hardening and tempering. Shaft wobble/bent. Running weld current through lathe bearings. Won't be long before it fails again. Not a genius, more like a butcher.

@@ahmedlg7786ce n'est pas un problème de moyen mais bien de méthode, il y a une bonne et une mauvaise façon de faire les choses. avec le même matos on peut faire bien mieux en utilisant une méthode plus logique 🧐

Those are fusers! I wouldn't even get my bike repaired with that. They are not interested in any heat treatment, throwing accuracy, nothing! It's terrible to just look at it and not use it after their "rescue"!!
These things break because they put too much weight on the vehicle. If they were to follow a manufacturers recommendation it wouldn’t happen. I use to do these types of repairs. They do not last. This was a solid piece of metal, a thread and welding will not replace the original composition. Sorry but this is just another half repair. And I know I have done it and seen what happens after. The driver will overload the vehicle again, and the same result follows.

И резьбу мог бы прогнать , зажатую цоколем , нагрузку большую вал конечно не возьмет и как долго проработает сомнительно . Предыдущий вал был перекаленный ,этот сырой из конструкционной стали .

Please don‘t use measuring instrument to remove metal shavings, problem with thread connection on a gear shaft, they won‘t last caused by the oscillation from the piece itself-> it will Break or the thread will loosen means work for nothing, overall please don‘t cut yourself 🙏

It doesn't look reliable. Thermal tempering of the metal after welding was not done; the central part was not hardened. Most likely this part burst very quickly after installation
