Congrats on finishing the brush pack! I watched this video even though I don't own an iPad and already have a good shortcut device for PC/CSP. I just love seeing people talk about tech haha. That Azeron looks so over the top lmao I love it. Great analysis on the pros and cons.

At some point, all this tech just makes a regular pencil and paper seem way more attractive and simplistic.
I wish Krita had more software similar to Photoshop and procreate alike with more accessories because I can't see myself getting an apple product just for a drawing program. Also, I love Anker as well! I have their type C cables and two older but reliable fast portable chargers from them. I thought of upgrading but settled for the one I have and used the money on stocks instead

This is awesome! I have the pink AOIKYTE - and enjoyed it but have the same issue with adjusting the brush size jumping from 0-5%! I thought it was just me so; good to know I'm not doing something wrong! I hope Procreate update this!

Procreate needs to make update on changing keys for shortcuts like in Photoshop or ArtStudio in options so you could use any Bluetooth controller. For example I use 8bit zero controller with ArtStudio because I can just choose my own shortcuts setup in the app. Also people are really sleeping on ArtStudio for me the best competitor for Procreate on iPad. Great video overall. I’m interested in buying this lil keyboard for procreate shortcuts.

My main gripe with procreate is the fact that you can't customize keybinds. I recently started trying out clip studio paint for the ipad. Love that it feels like a desktop app and you can customize your shortcuts. This is how I normally work on my desktop so it works great for me. The azeron keypad looks like a nice solution for procreate but I think I'd much prefer a traditional keyboard and not have to add something awkwardly shaped in my bag when I'm on the go lol.
I just wanted to let you know, I'm using a tartarus pro on my galaxy tab ultra with krita. it's not too complex, just remapped the shortcuts since android treats it like a half keyboard.

Josh, we all have the same finger issues. Those end fingers have less dexterity and weren't really designed for as much control. I'm sure they can be trained however over time.
Ergojosh can get the belkin nostromo n52te from ebay really cheap. Its similar build to the razer keypad but it has onboard memory.
I like the hardware demo, but is the a software option? On 2 in 1 PC touchscreen laptops software like Tablet Pro and others put the hotkeys on the side. Is there any option like that for iPads that your aware of? Have you ever tried or used anything like that? (keypad-hotkey/shortcuts ON Screen) thanks

Consider looking into an orthographic macropad running a configurable QMK or VIA firmware - it might be a cheaper option vs the Azeron, and vastly more configurable than the Tartarus or Aoiktye

I wish these had shortcuts for panning, zooming and rotating. I mean, all procreate artists pan and zoom frequently, why has that completely been overlooked in these shortcut keypads? I don't get it. If I have to do all that with gestures anyway, then I might as well do everything else with touch too.

Sounds like the Azeron has too use it productively without a huge time investment and hassle. They need to iron out some of those issues before many of us would be on-board for that.

Yea, kinda pissed at Razer for selling me a Mac Compatible (as advertised on the box) Tartarus, only to cut support for Mac’s SIX MONTHS LATER!!! And it’s not like the Synapse software that you’d use to configure your Tartarus is that complex. They even promised the update for 2 years before they quietly shelved the software. They just decided to screw over their entire Mac consumer base for “reasons”. Seriously F*@K Razer!
