  • I was getting very bored of all the generic "gamer" aesthetic builds (And while I do find those pretty) this was a breath of fresh air. Not only that, but I own a Shoji screen myself and this video inspired me to move it into my room, it really does balance out a room's environment and establish peace.

    • @@Vladyyy Yeah it's true, but it is still a large investment! And for tech stuff, you kinda have to upgrade frequently because stuff gets outdated quickly! I actually just bought a new Wacom tablet because they are having a sale right now on their site. My previous model is a intuous pro from like 2015-2016.. Nothing wrong with Josh enjoying his money! If he can afford it then all power to him! I hope to be able to make purchases like these more freely one day but for now I've been saving for my dream of owning a home! Anyways there are sales on for Wacom on the Wacom website right now and big sales on Amazon for the xp-pen so check them out if you're looking to upgrade!

      @puccarts@puccarts2 жыл бұрын
    • @@puccarts Yeah it definitely is! And the place looks nice. I love how it’s tailored to him in different ways too. I guess you can say he’s passionate about it lol. I just said that to say don’t look at it and think it’s unattainable for you to achieve. This is a great example of investing in yourself for work, play studying etc. I agree upgrading tech is important. It also takes place overtime though. And if you need to (but I doubt you will) you can always sell your old items to help you upgrade. Yes nothing wrong at all, plus the quality products help make the content better for everyone. Congrats, I hope you’re liking it!! It’s possible some things were given to him by companies for free, through deals, or discounts. Writing it off as a business expense also helps. All in all in years time you can work to having a space you absolutely love too! It’s largely upgrading as you go along/grow, and tailoring the space to you. Thanks for mentioning the deal and best wishes on getting the homes of your dreams, you got this!!! 🥳🙌🏾✨

  • This is inspiring! Even though it would take me years to accumulate the amount of components that would go into creating a comfortable studio space for myself, I feel excited to add to it piece by piece. I've already got dual monitors and one monitor arm and even just that has helped so much. I'm so glad you talked about the lighting, because I'm so sensitive to harsh lighting too, but I don't like being shrouded in darkness either so your solution might be one I could use myself. Thanks for making this video! I'm bookmarking this so I can always come back to it.

  • What a nice chill space! A nice plant type you could get is "Pathos", they can be trained onto trellises, are very low maintenance and don't mind gentle indoor light. Now, I only wish bamboo furniture were as popular here in Japan as it is overseas. I know you lived in Korea for a time, Josh, so you can imagine the number of expectations I had flipped when I moved over here. There's an unprecedented degree of access to artbooks akin to the ones you use, however, for which I thank my lucky stars. • So happy you are back. I know solid breaks are necessary but you were missed! I honestly didn't think there were others like me. Being creative and OCD isn't easy. I have encountered more artists that are unorganized or just messy that I thought I was the nutty one. I have been trying to find the best relaxing setup (still trying to find it) as well. Cords are always being ziptied and command hooked. I am only 9 months into getting back to basics and art after losing my nail salon to covid issues. I am inn a better place and often will work while listening to your videos. If I might suggest, as an artist I find that tactile schedules work best for me. I use Erin Condren Hourly planners (know not a rep just a customer). This is the one I purchased for my husband star-wars-metallic-outlines-lifeplanner. When you personalize/customize choose hourly and Just My Size Neutral. He love it for his writing and working schedules. There aren't Manga covers but there is an option to create your own cover look. I use my favorite painting for each year. Sorry, became long winded. Blessed to have you back!!!!!!

Literally everything about your setup are either things that I have or aspire to obtain so being able to see everything put together like this is amazing. Would it be possible to see a list of books and other supporting items that you have collected like the sketchpad pro and the art books? I've been struggling to pursue my dream of being an artist and an animator, collecting and compiling resources but I feel that one could never have too much inspiration. I'm also a writer and a musician so trying to include those aspects in my work space has been a struggle as well. This is officially my favorite video of all time.

  • It's really amazing and inspiring to someone who is still learning as well. Looks awesome! But just for the curious: How do you afford all this stuff + rent, etc.? Is KZhead really paying you THAT much money?

    • Most likely multiple streams of income not just KZhead. Like his Patreon for example.

    • You can watch a video here where I talk about how I break down income: kzhead.info/sun/kreTY8uHg6J4ZXk/bejne.html I estimate the only people making a living from art youtube revenue alone, are people like gawx, jazza, and zhc, and possibly the big animation channels as well. But also, remember this is 4 years of work in the making, its not like I just woke up and bought all this stuff last month.
