Can you post a list of your recommendations for books please!

OMOGDDDDDDDDD NIMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA . This was so cool to watch Josh! Keep rockin! ✨✨✨✨
Thanks Ross!!
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW i am officially jealous as heck...
This guy has everything. All I had was an IPad Pro and even that got away from me so now it’s just me and my sketchbooks 😮💨
@@ii-ip9ectraditional art is great too :)
@@ii-ip9ecat least you had an iPad pro .. I have just a sketch book 🥲🥲
@@sdmproduction07 Even so i’m sure your art is great bro
Me too
I was getting very bored of all the generic "gamer" aesthetic builds (And while I do find those pretty) this was a breath of fresh air. Not only that, but I own a Shoji screen myself and this video inspired me to move it into my room, it really does balance out a room's environment and establish peace.
do you even meditate bro?
This is definitely the pinnacle of the setups I've seen to date. Simply amazing, beautiful, and functional
That looks really slick. I can't afford half of that but I will be clearing out my front room to make my own little studio set up.
I feel the same way, man! I wish I could afford all of that amazing technology (those cameras! that mic! that desk!!)
It's all acquired over years, it's not like it was bought overnight.
@@puccarts there are cheaper alternatives that work just as well.
@@Vladyyy Yeah it's true, but it is still a large investment! And for tech stuff, you kinda have to upgrade frequently because stuff gets outdated quickly! I actually just bought a new Wacom tablet because they are having a sale right now on their site. My previous model is a intuous pro from like 2015-2016.. Nothing wrong with Josh enjoying his money! If he can afford it then all power to him! I hope to be able to make purchases like these more freely one day but for now I've been saving for my dream of owning a home! Anyways there are sales on for Wacom on the Wacom website right now and big sales on Amazon for the xp-pen so check them out if you're looking to upgrade!
@@puccarts Yeah it definitely is! And the place looks nice. I love how it’s tailored to him in different ways too. I guess you can say he’s passionate about it lol. I just said that to say don’t look at it and think it’s unattainable for you to achieve. This is a great example of investing in yourself for work, play studying etc. I agree upgrading tech is important. It also takes place overtime though. And if you need to (but I doubt you will) you can always sell your old items to help you upgrade. Yes nothing wrong at all, plus the quality products help make the content better for everyone. Congrats, I hope you’re liking it!! It’s possible some things were given to him by companies for free, through deals, or discounts. Writing it off as a business expense also helps. All in all in years time you can work to having a space you absolutely love too! It’s largely upgrading as you go along/grow, and tailoring the space to you. Thanks for mentioning the deal and best wishes on getting the homes of your dreams, you got this!!! 🥳🙌🏾✨

He is a studio pimp for sho!
You created the most beautiful Studio I have ever seen. Absolutely phenomenal 😍
This was so calming and inspiring to watch. ✨💜 it’s really nice to see artists find ways to bring comfort, convenience, and unique aesthetics into their workspace and offers me motivation to try and achieve that for myself.
Seeing your studio tour videos aren’t only fun as hell to watch, but they offer me a bit of reassurance that I’m not the only obsessive-compulsive when it comes to studio setup. You really make me wanna do one myself - ALSO - your sliderONE upside down idea is flicking BRILLIANT - why the neck didn’t I think of that!
Glad you enjoyed it! I still feel as if its so sloppy but I think theres value to the lived-in feel. And yeah that thing is so useful im thinking about getting the headONE as well.
I just watched your video again - like honestly Josh, we're kindred spirits when it comes to studio obsession. I spend 75% of my time tweaking subtle details and I can see that you're just as focused and meticulous. Not to mention I get tons of ideas from you because you've really thought things out so nicely. Yeah - definitely gonna do one myself. I actually just touched base with Grovemade as well (hopefully, their contact form is a bit buggy) - I love their stuff
Adam, I would LOVE to see a studio tour from you as well! I feel I could learn a lot from both you and Josh when it comes to your studio space.
In the reality things are messed up , because not prepared, no cut fails and not prewritten scenario.
@@ergojosh there are desk addons you can get that where you can put all your cables in very neatly.
Bro like your work space... Especially the Japanese blinds thingy at the back it really sets the mood
Thank you for sharing this mine blowing experience when it comes to state of the art equipment, beautiful environments, and some of the incredibly useful tools and devices integrated in your workspace. This is so impressive for those that are not quite anywhere near this level. It does give us all something to aim towards and I’m really digging that remote control desk out of bamboo. I’ll have to check it out because that’s definitely something I need in my collection. ❤
your studio is the most unique and relaxing I’ve seen ever! I love these ideas, great job
I love that one of the foot notes for your Patreon ideas just says "boobs" 9:03
sameeee!!!!
That definately wasn't the first thing I noticed :/
Totally didn't come to comments after I saw this.
Everything about this video felt like I'm meditating in a Zen garden with soft jazz playing in the background. It was very relaxing to watch! 🎍
Very relaxing and informative video. 😊⭐
You have inspired me in ways that you will not know, 4 minutes 24 seconds into this video and only ever seeing 1-2 of your old videos, your voice and calm way about your edits and how you present everything in your video gives me inspiration to continue on my art journey. Thank you!
This was relaxing as it was inspiring. This motivates me and reminds me that being an artist is not a "you'll be poor the rest of your life" job. Thank you Josh, this is what keeps my fire burning.
wow, seeing how this room looked before you did all the changes and seeing it now is such a huuuuuge difference. And I LOVE it
Exactly what I need in my life. just with a bookshelf that can handle a bunch of books so I can keep my fav manga/ books over there decorated and have a little more space and it’s heaven
The most creative video I've seen all week, with the most efficient accessories that match an artist's purpose, bet this setup is saving you tones of hours.
Your studio is amazing, it's a great inspiration for anyone who wants to go on the creative path, the work you do is wonderful too, thanks for sharing all this cool stuff.
This looks really amazing and inspiring! A perfect fusion of function and beauty!
Room feels like a whole dimension of its own. Immaculate taste. very cultured. One of the best i've seen for sure
This man is living in a hipster best buy. Gear acquisition syndrome to the max. I wonder how long until the minimalist phase starts.
So much stuff fitting in such a small room. I'm impressed. You've inspired me.
This is inspiring! Even though it would take me years to accumulate the amount of components that would go into creating a comfortable studio space for myself, I feel excited to add to it piece by piece. I've already got dual monitors and one monitor arm and even just that has helped so much. I'm so glad you talked about the lighting, because I'm so sensitive to harsh lighting too, but I don't like being shrouded in darkness either so your solution might be one I could use myself. Thanks for making this video! I'm bookmarking this so I can always come back to it.
This whole video brought a smile to my face. Its like I was watching myself. The journeys of an artist. You learn sooooooo much. Truly inspirational. Keep it up bud!!
This was so beautifully thought out. You can absolutely tell that a lot of consideration went into this build. Amazing work man.
Whaaaat?! This is such an inspiring setup! I've seen tons of setup videos, where it's either super techy or the room itself is nice, but you nailed both. Great tech and choices (and you clearly researched the heck out of what the best of the best is for every single item) and a room that really looks like a cozy inspiring and calming place to be in. Im really impressed with this, this workspace is a piece of art in and by itself!
Hi, I'm from Mexico, you are my inspiration to be putting together a workspace similar to yours, as well as inspiring me to continue drawing and pursue my dreams, I send you a big hug.thanks for your videos.
Thank you, Josh, for the tour of your studio - informative and balanced with some useful tips.
There's something so soothing about this video. I love that gold wall and your voice is so soft.
From all the art studio tours yours might be the closest to what I envision mine to look like. It's really cozy, calming and just contains a lot of natural light. It's awesome!
This was soooo satisfying and inspiring to watch! I think aesthetically I'm very drawn to similar materials and colours as you, and I love some plants too so I'll definitely be using this as a reference point for when I can finally have my own studio space, but also in day to day style. On top of that, you've made such a small space so functional which is *not* easy to do. This was exactly the video I needed this morning to give me that little push to tidy up my space!
Amazing studio! I really appreciate the patience and the time spent getting each area just right. Awesome stuff man.
Love the setup and the colours. Wood makes such a difference.
What a nice chill space! A nice plant type you could get is "Pathos", they can be trained onto trellises, are very low maintenance and don't mind gentle indoor light. Now, I only wish bamboo furniture were as popular here in Japan as it is overseas. I know you lived in Korea for a time, Josh, so you can imagine the number of expectations I had flipped when I moved over here. There's an unprecedented degree of access to artbooks akin to the ones you use, however, for which I thank my lucky stars. Your video has inspired me to go back to square one and completely re-work my studio/Maker space. Thank you!
Now this looks like a cozy studio! Always love the way you set up everything, you’re creative all the way from the canvas to the physical world around you. Very inspiring
This was so calming and what an incredible studio you got!
Wow ! Your Studio space is Amazing !!! This makes me want to re-do my workstation area . Comfort and lighting are so important in setting a mood !! Your video has been inspirational !!
LESGOOO!! THE HERMIT RETURNS!!
Okay. I know this took a huge amount of planning and patience. (Especially the cable management) It’s really inspiring to see this room come together. Im attracted to earthy materials and Japanese culture/architecture too. This was beautiful thank you for sharing your space ✨💯
this was beautiful and extremely satisfying! absolutely inspired to create more harmony in my spaces and love the comment on the importance of rest and play. burnout is a x**!$ but can be avoided😁👍🏿
THE NICEST STUDIO I HAVE EVER SEEN! This even exists? Wow! I am inspired, I must say. I must step up my game. Thanks, Josh!
Josh you are my favorite, always love your style and everything you do please keep encouraging us especially me 🥺🥺🥺
I think your voice is the #1 contributor to the harmonious workspace. Jokes aside, this has got to be one of the most beautiful workspaces I’ve seen in a long time.
Lol, I said the same thing. His smooth voice adds to the calming atmospheric vibes.🤣🤣🤣😎👍
One of the most amazing setups I've ever seen! So much stuff going on! love it!
COOL chair. Thank you for showing the need for a inviting, inspirational workspace for creativity!
Truly incredible! I am amazed, its beautiful, I wish one day I can spend money on my setup and get it just right like that, I obviously have my mood and different preferences about space, but yours seems pretty relaxing and just awesome in general. I loved how you decorated and bring a practical use for everything over there
yes , i have been hyped for this for a while
I love this kind of videos❤️ Organized, functional and accessible❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is absolutely wild but it really does fit you perfectly josh LOL
I have researched studio tours for years, trying to get inspiration for my own studio (which is quite drab), and often found only lackluster experiences throughout KZhead, Pinterest, DeviantArt, etc. This is the first studio tour that was FULL of inspiration and direction. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us all.
😊
The level of organization is just mind boggling. I wish I could get this much order in my life.
1:40 through 1:57, thank you. That 17 second suggestion needs to be said so much more and it was very refreshing to hear you say that. I’m constantly encouraging people to do the same.
So happy you are back. I know solid breaks are necessary but you were missed! I honestly didn't think there were others like me. Being creative and OCD isn't easy. I have encountered more artists that are unorganized or just messy that I thought I was the nutty one. I have been trying to find the best relaxing setup (still trying to find it) as well. Cords are always being ziptied and command hooked. I am only 9 months into getting back to basics and art after losing my nail salon to covid issues. I am inn a better place and often will work while listening to your videos. If I might suggest, as an artist I find that tactile schedules work best for me. I use Erin Condren Hourly planners (know not a rep just a customer). This is the one I purchased for my husband star-wars-metallic-outlines-lifeplanner. When you personalize/customize choose hourly and Just My Size Neutral. He love it for his writing and working schedules. There aren't Manga covers but there is an option to create your own cover look. I use my favorite painting for each year. Sorry, became long winded. Blessed to have you back!!!!!!
Love ur room, it's super cozy ❤❤
Loving your channel and all of your input. I want to here more about your Architectural background and this journey to expressing your passion for Art Design. I TOO AM ON THIS PATH! I don’t share much but plan to very soon, as I hone in on what I want to share with the world. Until then I’ll keep inspiring people to “see things differently “. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Again, thanks for continuing to be an inspiration!👨🏾💻🫀👩🏽🎨
That is Totally Amazing man! That room alone is an Artpiece .... I am blown away every second im watching this video. Keep it up my friend! Just Totally and completely Amazing! You are Blessed! WOW!!
I'M JUST SCREAMING FROM YOUR ROOM. HOW EVERYTHING IS NICE DONE. OH MY GOD. You are such a good fellow, you have just incredibly divided and organized everything. The way you set up your workplace is what I will strive for with mine :)
This is lit dude. I definitely want to steal that look and vibe
Man I don’t know what it is but your sense of style in the way you have things laid out in there is beautiful. The chair, the desks, the wood colors. Amazing man
This looks so awesome. Very cozy feel with accent lights and the partitions!!
It's uneasy seeing such egregious consumerism paired with such light music and tranquil vibes.
Love your work station. It looks so cozy and practical. Ive seen too many clean and minimal desk set ups out there and i knew it s not really my thing. I wish there are more of this cozy or even messy style desk reviews on youtube.
You're very articulate, mate. I enjoy listening to you speak + your setup is a dream. Great job!
This gave me more motivation to become a successful artist. I NEED to get myself a personalized drawing studio
oooof looking nice :D
This is EXACTLY the video I've been looking for. Been trying to find some of the right gear, and design functionality for my own setup revamp (considering it involves a couple businesses and art hobbies), and this is spot on. Preciate the inspiration brotha 🙏🏾🔥!
Thank you for sharing your POV from art & your studio!
I like the Good luck next to the ps5 "link"
haha bro, the fact that you got a husky tool drawer . . . Such an amazingly simple idea and it looks great
Thanks! I stole that amongst other things from alot of other youtubers lol

This is an insane setup! My soul sings just watching this!
Off topic, but yo you’re really freaking good at shooting videos. This video is immaculate and so aesthetically pleasing man, I love it.
Thank you! I try my best.
Finally!
Definably gonna take a lot of ideas from this video to make my own studio space. Thanks man! This was a awesome tour
Dude I just want to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for this video. Literally everything about your setup are either things that I have or aspire to obtain so being able to see everything put together like this is amazing. Would it be possible to see a list of books and other supporting items that you have collected like the sketchpad pro and the art books? I've been struggling to pursue my dream of being an artist and an animator, collecting and compiling resources but I feel that one could never have too much inspiration. I'm also a writer and a musician so trying to include those aspects in my work space has been a struggle as well. This is officially my favorite video of all time.
9:03 "Patreon Ideas - Boobs", I feel dat 😂 But for real your studio is a dream! :0 Just watching those shoji panels standing there kinda relaxes me! I hope one day in the future when I'm not a broke student anymore, I'll be able to afford my own studio with my own damn Shoji panels 😍
Lemme tell you something man. I missed you♥️

I love the way this guy is so composed
It's really amazing and inspiring to someone who is still learning as well. Looks awesome! But just for the curious: How do you afford all this stuff + rent, etc.? Is KZhead really paying you THAT much money?
Most likely multiple streams of income not just KZhead. Like his Patreon for example.
You can watch a video here where I talk about how I break down income: kzhead.info/sun/kreTY8uHg6J4ZXk/bejne.html I estimate the only people making a living from art youtube revenue alone, are people like gawx, jazza, and zhc, and possibly the big animation channels as well. But also, remember this is 4 years of work in the making, its not like I just woke up and bought all this stuff last month.
@@ergojosh thanks, I'll check it out. It does make a lot more sense now lol. To another 4 hard working and fruitful years!
