    • That or you know.... Commiefornia actually clears up and disposes of all the dead brush and trees that are littered across the state that has been confirmed to be causing the wild fires? Just saying that is a option too since commiefornia has put literal millions into "clearing up the dead brush".

    • @@neilsmith9066 need to use alternatives. There is plenty of plastic wastes around the world. We can mould them into very sturdy furnitures that can last atleast a generation. Instead of using wood for cremation, we can use cowdung logs which are equally effective. There is a solution for everything. Use less wood and plant more trees in designated areas of the city. Make atleast one park in each locality where people can sit and relax among the greenery.

    • @@neilsmith9066 I have few plastic chairs which have heavy build. It has been over 7 years and shows no sign of wear and tear. It cost me 3 times the normal plastic chairs which last just 5 years and more prone to breakage. Yeah, I like wooden furniture more but it's hard to find the quality ones these days. I have purchased a second hand wooden sofa set at an irresistable price. The owner said that they got it custom made at their marriage and 100% wood, that too they are selling at less than 25% of prevailing market rate. I myself scrubbed and polished it to give it a brand new look. Atleast this saved a good quantity of wood.

  • How many in this comment section actually ever worked in the woods? Ever planted a tree? No, but most of you want to use paper, toilet paper, wood to warm yourself, and to build houses from? Maybe you even want to replace plastic materials and switch to bio fuels? Yet you don't want to see any trees cut and used. It is more scary reading comments from people that have no solutions and understanding of how things work yet they know exactly what is right, than to see trees being used, trees that was most likely ones planted to be harvested, just like we are planting trees for our children to harvest and use in the future.

    • An analogy with destroying trees crossed my mind, the earth formed for billions of years and it took humans 40 thousand years to kill Mother nature. I honestly don't see way out this because of shifted life cycles. I mean that not until resolving first priorities like food and shelter, human will start sincerely ponder the sustainable living. As all humans are always in different stages of life cycle and population grows exponentially, food and shelter aspect will prevail in global mindset.

  • Some people really don’t understand that trees are a renewal resource and are in fact treated like a crop from the Carolina’s to Texas across the “pine lands”. The county I’m from on the GA coast is typically 85% under planted pines. We’ve been harvesting pines in that part of the world since Europeans first got here. This is actually far safer and more efficient than swarms of men in the woods with axes and chainsaws.

  • Sadly these machines are mostly used to flatten forests - but it's homeowners with problem trees who'd love to have a machine like this stop by their houses/gardens for 15 minutes to ultra-rapidly remove an overgrown tree - a normally very challenging job that could take 2-3 days and cost $500++.
