Like, I keep hearing about these mythical individuals called "undecided voters," and I'm not convinced they exist.

The pay is a joke (like $8 a day (not an hour), the food you get is what they are serving in jail, if sequester you dont get your own room - just sucks. Now - GRAND jury? YES! You totally want to be on a grand jury as you are treated like royalty! $50 - $100 day (depending on location, awesome food, and very nice accommodations if sequestered.

  • Jokes aside: the trial by jury system is one of the major reasons why the US justice system is a joke. We have rammed down our throats this line that "trial by jury of your peers" is what makes the US system so great and special. But that's just not true. Special, yes. Great, no. We leave life-and-death decisions about complex cases, sometimes with issues that experts study for decades to understand, to twelve average people who are usually specifically chosen for their IGNORANCE on a given topic. It's horrible. If you did what you're accused of, go to a jury trial...it's your best bet. If you're innocent, then choose a judge trial.
