I find it so ironic that Tennessee is passing a law for teachers to pass background checks, mental health included, safety training and a license.....everything the GOP stands AGAINST for all their NRA buddies.

Hypocrisy has always been a major theme with the Republicans, do as I say not as I do, I mean they all claim to be Christians while their morals and ethics standard are such Jesus would have seen fit to throw them out of the temple. They peddle their morals and ethics to the highest bidders, added to that their entire driving motivation is wealth and power, nothing else & no one else.
I thought the same exact thing and I would have loved for the commentators to expand on it. In fact, I have already started to draft an outline for an editorial about this irony to submit to national and local papers.
Background checks and firearms traing for teachers is very important so we can trust that they are able to handle guns responsibly. It must be noted that teachers are NOT REGULAR PEOPLE. Regular people therefore don't need the same tests and training. Thank you.

Trump is spending more hours in the courtroom each week than he did working in the White House. He'd hit the Oval office at 11 AM, then "Executive Time" from 12 to 4, (sitting in the Dining Room watching FOX and tweeting,) then back upstairs to tweet some more. That was it for the day.
