I totally agree!! Lucas is 88 now and a great horseman, and I’d love to see him win one more Derby! And Keith Asmussen is a hot jockey who’s aggressive, hungry, knows how to rate a horse, and is never intimidated by other riders! 🙌🏼

I'll wait to til workouts are done before I pick a "long shot" that I think has a chance. I'll go with the "crappy odds" horse that turns in a bullet work. lol. As of now, ya know....well, Just Steel has the sire, his speed figures are headed in the right direction, he's got the experience. As of now, I'd say he's absolutely a worthy long shot. I've seen him on a lot of long shot lists....so....well...all its gonna take is some big wig to pick Just Steel, and he'll become the "wise-guy horse" and his odds will be cut in half.

Great show. Ok here's what I'm thinking. Muth can't enter KD. I'd save muth for the Preakness. Fierceness & Sierra Leone EX BOX In the KENTUCKY DERBY. Now if fierceness falters Forever Young & Catching Freedom & Sierra Leone come barreling down the stretch trifecta box the last 3 with Fierceness

Honestly my derby winners are few and far between... but when I have connected it's been large... the coach....charasmatic that was one of them I'm not wild about steel...he does have some positives coming in.. the old man is sharp and has been there many times... I'm gonna use him with a couple others and possibly a small across the board type investment.... crazy race.. luck plays into it... were getting closer with each passing day.

1st see if Irad Ortiz or Lenfranco Detorri is on any contenders. If their not in the KD- Bet on the betting favorite in the Kentucky derby " the chalk"
