They seem to try and act like "You can't tell me anything" but they are little wimps most of them. Murray is a classic example of Smoke and Mirrors = drop a line from a poem, try and speak in a poetic way , etc but its just bluff and nonsense.. Murray , has his little videos in the troubled zones of Israel, of course, he is surrounded by IDF , so nothing will happen to him. The stuff he says is pure right wing talking points, hidden among flowery language. It made me laugh when he commented on Russell Brand , he was so jealous of him, of course, he is Russell is funny, has his own mind and was also friends with Murray's hero - Morrisey. The thing is both Morrissey and brand, both have something e never will, heart . I don't think you would find them two defending what Israel has been up to. To say "the job is only 80% den while speaking about human life, is revolting

    • Yes, of course, but for those of us that aren't so enlightened, or might have missed something, would you be kind enough to provide an example of Doug being right about something and how you came to determine he is in fact right? You know what I mean: what objectively verifiable evidence does Doug provide to substantiate any if his assertions/conclusions. Some people, as you know, just blurt out things they want to be true and know they're going to find agreement amongst those equally eager to have their delusions confirmed, while others know they're lying and intend to deceive their audience. The latter category is particularly devious, as they will lie about the evidence they have, so it's doubly important to ensure they can justify their claims with rationally demonstrated and objectively verifiable facts. Now, I know that anyone interested in and committed to frank and fearless interrogation of facts as Doug is, would never confidently assert something as true without making sure that he is neither influenced by his own preferences and prejudices or being missed. However, I am still missing something and would be grateful to you if you could point to any objectively verifiable (you know, rational) evidence that anything Doug states is objectively right. Anything. It will help me greatly. Thank you soo much

    • @@TTFN55 Tell you what? I don't know if I'm worldly or wise, well maybe a little, but I am an adult who knows an uniformed moron incapable of engaging in honest, 'fearless' ('Fearless' - that's a joke. All he does is pander to the insecurities of the quivering and frightened who can't go to bed without the light being left on unless they're tucked in with reassurances that they have nothing to fear from ignorance) discussion when I come across one. Doug, should be called Dick. What is there to tell you, except that Doug - Dick isn't telling you anything, cause he couldn't if he wanted to. You don't listen to Dick- Doug because you're interested in facts, but because you're frightened of them. It's like turning to the Bible to learn about evolution: Doughead - Dick not only doesn't know, he doesn't care that he doesn't know because his Dickhead Doug. I don't suppose telling you to get your information from objective, informed sources would help, because it is obvious that anyone who admires Doug's Dicking around isn't an admirerer of being informed

    • Yes, but you love him because he reflects your preferred version of reality, right? Not because he engages in the truth. Palestinians = people. Israel is committing genocide before our very eyes. It is an indefensible crime against humanity. In a just world there would be a Nuremberg type trial to bring those responsible for this horror and their enablers to justice. In a just world, consideration wold need to be given to breaking up the state of Israeli in it's current form, cause the name 'Israel' will be forever tainted in history. No matter what the outcome of this nightmare in the short term, the name "Israel' will be a historical byword for unimaginable inhumanity and cruelty on a par with that of the Nazi regime. Who do you think will utter the word "Israel' in the future with anything but contempt? Do you think future? It is already causing disgust amongst young Jewish people in the global community. • A two state solution is utterly unworkable, as the majority of Arabs living in both Gaza and West Bank believe that the Zionists established the Jewish state illegitimately - meaning that Roman & Ottoman 'Palestine' - belong to Arabs not Jews. Therefore they have rejected every effort by intermediates to establish a two state solution. Both West Bank and Gaza should be fully incorporated within Israel. Any Arab wishing to abide by Jewish rule and law would be welcome. On the other side of the a one state solution; i.e. Arabs live as Israeli citizens would also not work as the population explosion amongst Palestinian Arabs would ensure that Jews will very rapidly become a minority within Israel - which as it stands will not find favour amongst Israeli's. So the only way forward is that Arabs return to their original states - and incentives be provided to make that transition possible. Outside of that, the outcome of the war must decide who own the territory. Based on the economic success of Isreal verses the dismal failure of the Gaza - its pretty clear to deserves to own and manage the territory.

  • I keep hearing that line about slavery in the modern world.. "there are more slaves now than there has ever been in human history.." Where are the politicals on this? Where are the news articles? Where is the media? In an educated discussion, how can that be a throwaway line?

    @Kevin-hb7yq@Kevin-hb7yq21 күн бұрын
    • Because to deal with the slavery that exists today - ten million in Africa alone- would take work. Much easier to demand reparations for past ills.

  • As has been said time and time again….if reparations are wanted you need to start with the source and that is Africa. The Portuguese weren’t running around with huge butterfly nets capturing Africans, they stumbled upon an established slave trade that had already been going for hundreds of years.

  • The way that I would respond to Chuck Schulmer would be to ask him about the proportionality of the response to September 11. The US wanted revenge and to try and prevent another attack, so went to war in a country that was sheltering OBL. The allies of the US were resolute and supported them in their efforts. Afterwards, I would ask him if there were any parallels that could be drawn between the two situations.

  • I’m so glad you brought up the pandemic as an example of something you hadn’t dived into enough at the time, and now have different views on, Douglas. What shocked - and terrified - me during the pandemic is how many countries, governments, and (educated) people swallowed the same false narrative. Tragically it is not over. Although the truth is slowly allowed to be said, nobody has taken responsibility …law suits are not being won, people are dying on a large scale especially in countries where vaccinations were administered to large numbers of the population. I love listening to you; your interests and knowledge are divers and extensive. You love the truth. Maybe truth on this matter will appeal to you somewhere in the future? I'd love to hear it.

    @marionvuijk500@marionvuijk50021 күн бұрын
    • Ma’am please take your conspiracy theory ass out of this discussion- people WERE dying due to the virus, thanks to the vaccine the odds of getting infected and dying are extremely low! I have friends who are suffering from long term Covid, and others who lost family members who refused to get vaccinated.
