    • Yes, anyone can be a screenwriter. But not everyone can be good screenwriters. Those lovely folks actually put in the effort and even re-draft to further flesh out and strengthen things such as plot, world building, cause and effect and character development. Chaps like Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg.

    • I basically just said the same thing. Classic dry British wit and humor. My family on both sides (though we are 2 generations American now, are British to the backbone so we truly appreciate the English language and it’s unique humor and love of laughter in general. My last name, Willis (I found out) dates all the way back to the Norman Conquest, and all of our other family names are equally quintessentially English with the exception of the couple of Scots (McCaleb and McNeese) that slipped in. I think our appreciation for all things British (including humor of course) is absolutely genetic at this point.

Insted of being the usual dumb guy that drags the team down with nonsense or the usual completely idiotic YET somehow genius who saves the situation through magic he's actually a competent agent yet funny. Its one of the freshest takes on the stereotype character, especially in MI4. And it shines especially in contrast to the Ethan character. Where Ethan is rugged, experienced, and somewhat tired, Benji in enthusiastic and naive WHILE still being prepared and competent thats the key.
