  • I never thought about it until now, but it is so sad and fitting that Jon Favreau was there. He was the man that started the MCU with the original Iron man, and he truly was there until the end.

    • There's a good chance that, powerful though that spell may have been, there's still vestiges of Peter remaining in the lives of his friends after the spell, so they could rediscover their relationship with him again. Obviously I don't know this for a fact lol but it would not only be easy to write in, but it's just hard to believe they'd throw away such great characters and actor pairings with such great chemistry. So I'm confident we'll not only see Ned and MJ again, but that they'll reunite with Spideypoo down the road.

But now that I know what happened at the end of SNWH…dude, I just started ugly crying when Ned and Peter hugged. I must have some residual PTSD from SNWH. If anyone needs me, I’ll just be in a corner curled into the fetal position. 🥺😢😭🤧

    • It can be argued that Tony let Nebula win in paper football. And that might have been the first time she ever won anything. Also, after they returned to Earth she probably was part of Tony's circle of friends, since she was on a nickname basis with Rhodey 5 years later when they started planning the time heist. I would have liked to see more about that, but 5 years is a long time.

    • Thor is weakened purposely in endgame, in order to give newer character slot to shine. Until Ragnarok, Thor is overpowered and easily could defeat Thanos in ease. That's why he arrives late in Infinity War and missed Thanos head. And in Endgame he nerfed too much. If Thor was there ready in his prime power, script would be difficult to create because he could defeated all Thanos army by himself.

  • The actors all showed up that day believing that they were filming Tony and Pepper's wedding. I imagine that their sadness was genuine, finding out that Robert's time on screen in the MCU family was coming to an end. The Russo brothers handed out partial scripts and fake scripts to everyone to prevent plot details from being leaked to the press. Joe Russo---" They were brought there under this pretense that they were coming for a wedding--it's kind of heartbreaking to think about now--but they all have managers and agents, and hair and makeup, and we can't tell anybody what we're up to because it can leak thru one of a thousand sources...so they were all brought there under the pretense that they're coming for a wedding, and the day they got there and we started to dress them in the black outfits, they said, 'This is a very strange wedding.' But they did it and I'm thankful for this bit of continunity.

The president should have given a Eulogy. There should have been a 21-cannon salute for him. But no, his funeral was attended by the people who knew him and mattered in his life. Peter Parker lost his mentor/father figure Thor lost yet another friend from work Bruce Banner lost his science bro Scott Lang lost his plan helper Hank Pym, Janet and Hope Van Dyne lost the person who built the time machine that brought them back to life (also should be noted that Hank showed up to his rival Howard Stark's son's funeral, which commands respect in itself) Clint Barton lost two of his teammates and people he loved. Nebula lost one of the first real friends she ever made Rocket lost a tech helper. Dr. Strange, Quill, Drax, and Mantis lost a true leader (it also should be noted that Quill is probably feeling tremendous guilt for indirectly causing the events that lead to Tony, Spidey and the Guardians to lose the first battle to Thanos, which led to the Snap) T'Challa lost his fellow Civil War leader (this hits harder now that Chadwick Boseman lost his colon cancer battle and this was officially his last filmed appearance in the MCU) Wanda Maximoff, Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson lost their correct leader Bucky Barnes also lost the chance to apologize for killing Tony's parents Harley Keener lost the hero her met nearly a decade earlier Maria Hill lost a team member General Ross lost a close associate Carol Danvers lost someone she saved Nick Fury lost his plan and the first team member of the Avengers.
