Calling in Multiple Coyotes! 16 Multiple Coyote Kills in One Day!! -Record Breaking!! 1 Coyote. These multiple coyote kills start out like any other day; however, it ends up being a record breaking day for my predator quest coyote hunting career. I have called and killed 16 coyotes in a day with another person before, but never by myself. Watch this video and the eleven other videos in the 16 Coyotes Killed in One Day series to see tips on how calling multiple coyotes in one day and shooting multiple coyotes in one day is possible. Pay attention to the set up and how I describe my calling scenario. Calling in multiple coyotes at one time is exciting!
I hope you enjoy this hunt! www.predatorquest.com

  • I love how you break down everything in your videos. I just entered a contest for the first time this last weekend. I was pretty excited and I pretty Green only seriously hunting coyotes for 4 years here and there. we had 3,000 acres to hunt and we made 10 stands not seeing any coyotes at all. Cold front came in two days before and the wind was around 20 gusting to 30 MPh. It took some wind out of my sail but I'm just thinking back and trying to think what I might have done differently. I tried to mix it up not call to much but what do I need to try next time. I try to start quite and work my way up. open with coyote vocals and go to a distress. Your thoughts would help I'm in SE Kansas it's a mix of AG land with small patches of timber and wooded draws hedge rows and thickets. thanks Josh G.

    • Hey Josh, thank you! With you only being in the game for about 4 years, there is alot to learn. I've been doing it for roughly 30 years and they still keep me guessing from time to time. I have a pretty simple rule, if I call 3-5 spots that I know coyotes inhabit, but do not see one, I hang up my calls for the day. I am anal about not wanting to alert the coyotes in the area that I am trying to call them. You can do what you want, but I have more important things to do rather than spending a day out calling when I know they are not going to respond. Just my $.02. Thanks again for watching and commenting. LJ

    • I hear you but being a contest I didn't want to give up to quick. Most of the time I only have time for a few stands but I'm in it to win. If I'm going to spend 150 bucks it was a bad day but you got to make hay when the sun shines. Thanks for the tips.

  • Question: Me and some buddies planned a coyote trip and it is supposed to be -26f (welcome to Alberta) do you find they call or move better in cold weather? Or should we reschedule and watch PQ Videos? :)

    @FORDEVR@FORDEVR7 жыл бұрын
    • Fordevr, as much as I would like for you to watch PQ videos.... :), I think that it would be best to be out calling! I love the super cold for calling. What I experienced in Alberta when it was super cold was that I made far fewer stands, but I would sit longer to allow the cautious coyotes time to respond. I wish our temps were that cold around here! Good luck calling and tell your buddies that LJ says hi! Thanks for your comment and for watching. LJ

  • I love animals and haven’t been able to imagine killing them. I’ve never hunted a day in my life but I’m here watching your videos and getting ready to suit up. Coyotes have run rampant here in the city, in my neighborhood and within my child’s elementary school, just walking distance from our home. Over the summer, I heard one or more run up onto my back porch (small patch of woods behind & a stones throw away from the highway) and slaughter my kitten for sport. Our area, albeit, was heavily populated in cats. Everyone was a cat man or cat lady lol. I’ve got 3, 2 are still young. After suspecting coyotes, I heard them one evening soon after, howling along with the sounds of nearby sirens. My son was outside and so was my small dog, which I’d gladly kill for, if needed! I sat and waited each night to see if they’d come back. I’ve been a cwp holder since 03/2015 and I’d enjoy target practice if they threatened my home again. Within that week, I noticed dozens of animals missing. Cats and dogs both, gone. Its been 6 months since. Last night I saw a coyote walking the road and I’m not going to now just watch them get away. Welcome to Myrtle Beach. ***Thanks for your video, Les!***

    • They didn't kill your cat "for sport". What this community does is kill for sport, those animals kill for food in an area that's constantly shrinking and being encrouched. Coyotes are wild and natural animals and humans have decided they are a spray because they can't be bothered to keep their small animals in at night. If you let you pets out into the ecosystem, don't blame the ecosystem for existing the way it has long before you came along, Karen.

    • Hey Chaz, I had to do a little research before responding. We do shoot video in HD and edit in HD for television, but due to all of the different viewing platforms across KZhead (mobile phone, tablet, computer, game console, television, etc.), we stepped down just a little due to buffering, ease of viewing,etc. I have checked with another friend that has a successful YT channel and I believe that we will step it up a notch due to his recommendation. Remember something, this is just the open highway and unless there is a bump in the road, you never learn a thing. Its a very, very complex thing so we are still learning. At least I am trying to get it all figured out. I really appreciate you pointing this out so that I could due my own due diligence to access the problem and present a solution. After talking with my editor, I have confirmed that he has been downloading in 720 and we are going to begin the 1080 process and hope this will make the viewing much more favorable. Thank you for pointing this out and I hope that I have helped. You have helped me in bringing this up. LJ

  • Funny how animals are more appreciated when they are dead. Just sad. I have no respect for people who kill other animals that dont include food. No respect for life at all, just really no respect. These are the kinds of things that really make me hate people and hate humanity. People are worthless as all the things they destroy. This world was much better before we ever arrived. Not only do we do this too animals we also play the same role on people. As we see how well that turned out.

    • Sure, humans have problems, and lots of them. That’s why we have scientists and doctors, humanitarian aid and programs to help those in poverty. But imagine that you stop trying to control the coyote population for a second. Then they overpopulate, and kill your dogs and cats. Then they go for the cattle, sheep, and deer. People depend on the the meat from those animals to survive, and if the coyote population goes rampant then the deer, cattle, and sheep populations deplete. The food people depend on go to a shortage. Sure, humans have problems. But we can’t just ignore the animals, or something like this happens. 😀

      @WestonBezzant@WestonBezzant5 жыл бұрын
    • Sometimes certain areas actually initiate culling of certain animals, because an over population of them would destroy the ecosystem that they are a part of. That's why Deer, Jack Rabbits and Coyotes are among the top for animal culling, as they can do a lot of damage if not controlled. Before going off on rants like this, just keep in mind that sometimes a decrease in animal population is quite necessary and almost always, when a culling is initiated, it's the Governments that initiate them... and sometimes end up paying hunters for the kills.

  • Hunting wild animals actually isn't a great method of regulation. Species live within delicate systems of food chains where population numbers fluctuate. Let the coyotes be and the population will grow, then drop once there isn't enough food, then go back up etc... pretty cool right? The more ya know. We should let nature do what it does best :)
