    @shayes.x@shayes.x6 ай бұрын
    • majority of the benchmarks shown are 100% true. I mean the Cinebench benchmark really shows the true speed of those cores, both single and multithread. So, the real-world performance would be around 5% higher or lower. The major factor affecting performance would be the software itself, in this case it's windows for ARM. That will take some time.

      @divanshu5039@divanshu50396 ай бұрын
    • Indeed. The benchmarks only claim the performance at a specific power level, which of course means better efficiency but when the competitor chips are allowed extra power, the difference is perhaps significantly less if not negative

They don't even _bother_ to include X or Y axis data any more - making the numbers and comparisons they make entirely and utterly useless. They're not even _trying_ to hide their scamming ways any more!! I miss the days when companies didn't feel the need to scam and trick their way into selling products, and were at least (for the most part) a little more honest back then.

A random floating line that is "20% more" than another random floating line that itself has no data connected to it because they're both floating in empty space means _LITERALLY_ nothing. Nevermind the fact everyone by now knows they artificially fudge any tests they do to get numbers that aren't _actually_ achievable in real-case use. They're lying to your face, and you're willing to accept it. I'm honestly not sure which is worse these days - the fact they openly lie, provide absolutely meaningless and useless "data" to trick people into buying their stuff, or the fact people like yourself are more than willing to accept such shady business practises.

    • Qualcomm offered devices for reviewers to benchmark. Ofcause they only presented a limited amount of Benchmarks, probably only the ones in their favour, but I'm Geekbench and other Benchmarks third party Reviewers were able to confirm that these outperform the M2 Air in most Benchmarked results, probably being landing between M2 Air and M3 air. If you consider it's cherry picked, I would claim it's very likely it comes close to the M2 or even bypasses it slightly. I think the elephant in the room is the price, availability, Software Support and low wattage power consumption. The performance under load will likely be very good, in native applications
