Pablo is keeping a close eye on the hood body work, he wants it done right! 🙂
I don't think you can truly appreciate how much work goes into a build like this. Really looking forward to the finished product. Pablo is his usual stoic self.
After all that work “you only think it looks good?”. Brent, it looks fantastic, this build just got a whole lot better. 👍👍
The hood is turning out nice. Bet the car is going to look fantastic in paint. Pablo will look like a 30's gangster in the passenger seat.
It's insane the amount of work you get done. A few weeks ago the front end looked hopeless and now it's in primer. You and Pablo get it up the good work 👍
Hi Brent. This is why i love your show. Your "breaking all the rules" style takes me way back and jea i kinda miss it. I done some crazy stuff. And still i see new stuff watching you. Looking good.
Brent you are like a one man production line. Loving the car with that long hood it reminds me of the first comic book Batmobile. I wish you would wear a mask when sanding.
Growing up in the 70's I'd get kustoms Hot Rod magazines. With the likes of Barris, Jefferies, to many KeWl Kar Kustimisers to mention. Every time I watch you Brent it reminds me of stepping back in time . Thanks for the Videos Always can't wait to get the next Halfass Video no matter the content. Can't wait to see those finished crests ! Godspeed
Am I the only one..that finds the sand blasting extremely satisfying..to watch..brent your killing it..its gonna be nice when its done..
Brent I see old crusty is starting to disappear slowly but surely. Man the hood is looking great. Thanks for sharing your content and take care.
Seeing your videos I realize how much work this is in fact. Greetings from Amsterdam and many thanks for all your great videos!
Thanks for making my Monday better….appreciate the videos.
I actually laughed out loud Brent when you said buggery involved while sticking your finger in the cowl hole!
Awesome she’s looking bloody fantastic. Really enjoying this car. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
The hood now looks original to the car ! Great save, coming out super as always.
Brent a true hot rod guy keep building these classic rods love the vids 🤠🤜🚘craigger
I love it. Regular working man’s hot rod
As soon as you took they daft trims off and put they other wheels on, instantly transformed 🤟🤟
Like 326. Excellent progress !
Brent or persistance is inspiration. Chewing off little obtainable goals each day for checking offall the boxes! Looking good one piece at a time ❤️👍
Hood turned out great. Pablo and I approve.
Looks great can hardly wait to see it all in primer. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
As I said earlier, that long Hood looks spectacular. Just adding those few inches really adds to the look of the whole rig.
The thumbnail nail is awesome
I see Pablo is making sure his pet human is doing the work properly!😁 I forgot the younger ones name! This is going to be a really great ride!
The more reserved guy is Buddy 🐶
Dammm, this RumRunner era is exactly what I like... I was watching the thumbnails but waiting to be surprised later. Heading backward now and digging the music! I remember once in the early 90's we spotted this 34 abandoned Chevy something and snooped it out that had a small block and 12 bolt set up already and tried finding the owner to buy it but had no luck.
Great contant Brent. I thought for a moment you were going to run the putty knives through the English Wheel, that would have taken the cake! Cant wait to see the Dodge come together after a long winters work! Appreciate you mate!
I can see huge improvement just with the hood and side on This car is gonna look amazing when she's all said and done.
I'm so glad you showed cleaning your body work tools. Filler stuck on my tools makes me hate body work, and I've moved to disposable tools as much as possible. I've thought of sanding off old filler, but never did it. Maybe I will in the future.
Piece of cake….for you. Walter Chrysler would be proud. Glad to see you already sent the hood to your paint man. Thanks for sharing, Brent. 👍
Watching you work I thank back to when I helped a friend of mine work on his 36 Ford he passed away a few years ago
Had to go back and watch again. So sorry for you loss. Hope all ends well keep the faith.
Don't down yourself you're awesome one of the best on youtube you never perplex me I love everything you do and don't feel the need to make suggestions because you tackle the task at hand so fast
Coming along, nicely, Brent. I see Pablo doesn't seem bothered at all, by the dust, flying around.
A labor of love, nice job Brent. 👌 Be good and stay safe. 👍
Hi Brent! I can't wait to see the rest of the paint job!
Rims n white walls hold'n up da car n da hood, modify'n da hood, body work'n da hood, filler'n da hood, prime'n da hood, Pablo n Buddy's da dawg boyz n da hood.
WOW I think it looks freaking awesome. Dang the Long Hood, Grill and fenders with those lights looks so cool. Our 35 Dodge is gonna make a great drone video!!!!!
I swear you are the metal whisperer! Very inspiring.
Awesome work. Car looks great.
Best channel on youtube! Enjoy all of your videos.
Your Magic adds up to something Kinda Special as Always .. Kudos Brent Love to watch the progress. Thanks for Sharing ...
Wow. you got a lot done this episode. Love your hat. waiting..
Not sure what day you recorded this but it fits in nice with a kickass Monday. You were working it hard today. Thanks for sharing. Like, share and write a letter to a friend. hehe
You crack me up when you do bodywork everytime because you love it so much! Not!!! 🤣 Looks good brother. 😉✌
the long nose of a super cool car, almost finished, great work again, a pleasure to watch
This ain’t the Concourse d’Elegance kinda build! It is a road machine with exceptional style and curves. You have noodled out all the eye dimensions to give it graceful balance and flow. When all the jewelry goes back on, it will turn heads! Great work, mon ami!
Watching the magician ...very cool!!!
I think you did a fantastic job on the hood. Great job, that was alot of preparation and time consuming but awesome job bro. Aloha from Ohio
Hutchins hustler longboard sander ,they are the bee's knees!
I'm very happy you did some primer paint. It makes the car look like it's progressing well.
Really coming together, your a hard worker!
Great Job Brent! Have a great day...
There is something so satisfying when sand blasting. Seeing the rust going away and exposing fresh metal. Awesome!
I was wondering whether or not you'll have the trim pieces for the hood re-chromed or just polish them out because they still look "mint" from where I'm sitting....😊
Im not that hotrod guy....But this is another level...😁 Dodge -35 C sportedition..Love it!!!
I always liked a lot of Bondo and then sand with a long board..it seemed to work better for me. The car is looking awesome. I can't wait to see it finished.
Looks good with some paint on Brent. We’ll done. Keep it up.
Brilliant work, your explanations are very helpful.
Looking beautiful! I can hardly wait to see what's next!
Always the best. looks like factory work. How many people will look at this hood and never know it isn't factory? Paul in Ohio..
Brent, you are a PROfectionist.
Wow! That was a shitload of work but it looks absolutely perfect. Very nicely done Brent. Impressive does not even begin to describe the hood. Thanks for taking me along with the process. I always enjoy your videos.
Looking great 😃👍🎉
This is the best hot rod channel on You Tube. Honest and entertaining; I've learned (and still learning) so much. Your wife and the dogs are integral to the videos. I look forward to each and every video, some are better than others but they're all good. Thanks Brent (& co.) I'll be waiting for the next one!!!
Really starting to take shape! One more bite! Thanks for sharing!
The hood looks fantastic...
Awesome car! My parents had a 37 Plymouth business coupe back in the 80’s . I learned how to drive in that car.
Bodywork seems a lot like drywall mudding. More on the floor than the panel. Awesome job,it's lookin' good !👍🇨🇦
I bet you never get done cleaning up the shop, but have some really cool things to show what come out of the messing up the shop. Hood looks great!
Man o man is she coming along Brent! Often we just want to get it done but the journey is a big part of the ride! look'n Great! LOve the vids! All the best! be safe ..untill next time!
Hey Brent, it’s getting better all the time, thanks again for sharing.
I'm really liking the long hood. She's looking good Brent.
I love sandblasting. It's so satisfying. Same with pressure washing, wire wheeling All the stuff it seems like everyone else hates 😅
Metal Maniac Brent Getter Done 😂😂😂
Cheers uncle welcome back, enjoy being back and going to work, The white walls suits her well! Thanks be blessed, Ciao ciao
Brent, no matter what obstacles come your way, you always sail past them with ease. This build has proved my point and then some!! Pablo is right on top of things, helping to maintain the building process and patiently waiting for a treat or two and looking for some attention as well!!
With the hood dunish it draws the build nearer to completion . All your work so far speaks reams about you as a fabricator , when you say it looks good on film you fall short of bringing light to the amount of changes you have braught about and the work you have done to accomplish this . Keep on trucking , Stuart in Ontario ............................
Wow! What a hot rod. So cooooollllll.
Tremclad is a great sealer. This is super cool. I just decided to call this car a Brent.
I work with wood, nuts and bolts and screws mostly. Bought a welder. My first time welding, a "gallows" to hang my pigs after dispatching. Practiced for hours. Boogers! boogers! boogers! (And spattering) Then, I got the temp and feed dialed in. Man, what difference! Looks and feels much better. Patience, slow and steady with "U" movements wins. Gallows is strong. Will hang the gambrel secure safely. Bottom line: You make it look easy. It ain't! Lol! Practice makes perfect. (At least acceptable)😂
Fun to watch your progress while I sit on my butt and sip a beer, LOL!!! Looking forward to the color selection.
Looking sharp brent you have done an amazing job on this
Looking good, Brent.
Another large step.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✅✅✅✅✅
All the best Brent!
Awesome !!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
This is turning into the meanest looking rod of it's era (40's?) Brent. The front is big man. It would so greatly suit the 8 liter Viper V10 with a seven speed auto. Or a nice LS 😅 . The hood line is more like like a Kenworth than the pointy car hood. I like how the redesign has ended up looking ! As means as Cinderella's step sisters. Just plain nasty😈🎱
Hood. Turned. Out. Great. Looks. Factory. Fit. Thanks
Looking AWESOME
Excellent video Brent :) , Pablo The Supervisor Dog 🐕 too also come together nicely to and take lots work yes agree ! I think tires are nice on car plus hood prime up for paint too!
that long bonnet gives the idear that there is a straight eight under it
Bravo monsieur good job j'attends la suite
It’s getting there bud hello from Edinburgh Scotland ❤❤❤🏴
Car came a long way s. He's showing us we can do the same things
Just love that car can't wait to see what color you with
Coming along nicely.......I see paint by mid summer......
I'm glad you're getting into the mud and primer looks great
Great job, would look beautiful clear coated in bare metal, on dark dark metallic cherry👍
I couldn't agree more.
That one piece in primer = world of difference
and the Magic keeps getting better
