You are a machine Brent, I wish I had half the energy you have. Thanks for the content. It’s always most appreciated.
Same here.
Add them they look good
The existing body lines on the front and back fenders are way cool - I wouldn't mess with them!
Agreed Leave It Be , Less is More
i threw up when he started to cut up fenders for flares @@bigfoothunter666
Caddy grill and bumper with dagmires spot on
Clean bonnet, the big caddy grill is plenty of dressing and deserves all the attention. Looking forward to whatever your decision is. 👊
No? Brent! With the roundness of the guards bonet the squareness of the wheel look don't make the look quite right. With this Vehicle it's more of a circular finishes even in the designs of it's Bumpers back not so much but the front mostaush gives it that roundness. So No I say don't ruin what's it's great look. That squareness ruins it.
@@Walter-ri1li The square fender cuts look good, takes away from the bulbous look those trucks have.
@@65cj55 thanks for your rely still I guess your the master in this field I s'pose. Never mind I do enjoy your shows 'n as marvellous of a job you do designin' cut 'n dice metal then weld amazes me. @@Walter-ri1li It ain't my channel, i'm just a viewer like yourself..
Water Fall, it's like a chrome racing stripe that's low enough to see it. Dash is beyond cool. Topless and hard top will be worth it. Like to see orchard tractor style fenders on backwards. Opening song reminded of late after school our band teacher had that same style music record on and was pretending to conduct with the white wand, When the door behind me closed, he stopped and turned around, His eye glasses completely fogged from sweat and I'll never forget that smile. You took me back 48 years. Thanks.
Brent you hammered it right on the head looks awesome dude
Rear skirts that fade away that thick lower line and definitely do the front fender lips. My 2 cents 😅 this is going to be so Kool!!!
Can’t wait to see the rest of the vision.
The waterfall on the hood is the 1st thing which caught my eye goes well with the caddy bumper love the roof line aswell super cool the whole truck has it going on the stance the width the lines …love this thing already😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🧨🧨🧨🦾🔥🔥🔥
Thats a rad build :)
Hay Brent, hope the new shop is going well
It's slow but things should be happening soon
No grass ever grows under your feet! Another great video!
So many projects running through a fellas mind. And then changing ideas midway. I know some nights i cant sleep when the mind starts working.
Im ready to see the roof on the shop. Lets go team!
Loved the shot of the pup laying on your shoulder during the ride 🥰 Pablo looked very relaxed
It’s going to be a cool looking truck 👍👍
Awesome as Always... Such a Cool project.. Love the Look
So happy to see you back doing metal craft and showing your vision and skills.
Really like your pickup builds. Of cause the General. This one also looks promising.
Your invisions for a vehicles are usually way better than I would have imagined so go for what you are invisioning. I love the concept of this truck already
Yes sir Brent, you should cut and narrow the bumper to fit it in the grill's opening ...✔🍺🍺
Keep the box. That way, you have the room for the top and ice chest for drinks. That's what I would do 😊
Square flairs is a refreshing design for that year of truck. GO FOR IT !!
Totally agree with you.
Can't wait to see that when you are finished with it! Going to be sweet!
I like the new look for the 49 GMC Rodester. Gonna be really cool.
POWER TOUR 2024. Thank you for getting back to this I remember the videos you did and loved it. cant wait to see where you take it
Always exciting when you bring on something “new”. 😊👍👍
Shoots Brent , I like your ideas... Commin' along...👍😎
Looks good!!!! I vote for the hood center trim.
Excited for the new (old) project
Really looking forward to this one
Chrome, Chrome, lotsa chrome. Fenders look custom with the flares & the hood chrome will go with all the Caddy chrome. Love the look of this build. Rock on Brent
I like the Pontiac hood trim piece idea ! …and the dash !
Interesting collection you have. Glad you are sharing all of your past creations
I like the Water Fall, Gives the hood a different look.
This is probably my favorite build. Looks great. "Fat Chanel Cat"
Those flairs are awesome!! It makes the truck look bad ass.. you’re a genius Brent.
Always fun to get the creative juices going. This looks like it will be a fun project. Be safe and stay well.
The whole back fender looks like it needs to come forward. Love what your doing.🥸
I see a rig like copper Kart or the Dream truck. The box on copper kart has a beautiful style to the rear. Think if you built the whole box from scrap you could have it wide enough to take the top. Side to side. These projects are fun. Unlimited ideas to play with. Lol.
Brent, i like the fenders with the fender pieces. Cool Pablo looking great guarding his kingdom..
Really excited to see this baby back in the shop. Can't wait to see what you will do with it!
this sure was an episode of an artist's mind set in action Brent , and from the looks of it , your mind is set ... .👍🏼✔
He's got all of the back saving equipment
I agree the caddy front would look super good in that grille opening.
I love your job...congrats!!!
this has the makings of one cool hotrod. i like what you're doing.
Definitely go with the waterfall. Looks great and it ties in with the dash . Plus I'm a Pontiac guy 😂 I like the arches idea
Love the truck. 😊 I think the original body lines are classic. The arches are OK, too. Make sure your bride approves 😂
I'm diggin your whole idea From bumper to roof to fender flares !!! Full on custom GMC !
It’s going to be a nice cruiser. Anxious to see what all you do with it. 👍
LOVE the Pontiac waterfall on the hood, especially with the Pontiac dash !
Love the look of the big chrome piece on the hood and the caddy grill
I'm digging it. Cool stuff. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
The frontfender looks great
That’s a good looking truck!
Liked how you take the time to explain to us what you see in this project ! I like with the arches looks really nice.
I'm liken the fender flares myself looks like a nice custom look
Love this build thanks for bringing it back cool truck
It's going to be a cool ride... I like the flairs.
I am loving this build. I hope you do even more custom touches to it!
the right front flare at 30 min is GREAT
I like the addition on the fenders… it just looks more finished.
The "waterfall" is the Pontiac silver streak 👍
This is going to be a killer ride when it's done! Love the arches and I think the Pontiac waterfall would look awesome on the hood!
Looks great! The fender lips match your windows, ties in nicely!✊😁
Look forward to following this one, Yes, to the arches,
Yes go with the square wheel fender flares. Yes go the side pipes that finish just in front of the rear wheels with a small side step under the cab. Looks like you have new life in building the 49 GMC.
Yes diggin the fender flairs go with it!!
In California when I was a kid, we called the side pipes, Lake pipes....
YES!!! finally some customizing right on Brent so sick if l.s swaps and will it runs of course it'll run or you wouldn't waste your time on it yes put the thing on the hood go all out til the garage is ready then get back on the 35 dodge can't wait to see how this build turns out I like the roof you're building for it love it!😊
It's your build you can do whatever you want to it but I like the original wheel well openings but customize away! It does look better on the ground I'm loving your thought process on the grill and bumper
I like the added fender piece. It brings a unique touch.
This is the build I wanted to see get started, to get running. There are so many design's you can go with this truck to do something that is different from what everyone else has done. Widen the back fenders so you can see them when the truck is coming down the road with a wild Grill & widen back fenders? Only a suggestion I'm shire everyone else has something in mind.
You’re right Brent. Never seen this truck. Sounds like big plans. Soft top.Air bags. Side pipes. So, getting your new shop with New projects. Thanks for sharing. 💯👍👊
Glad to see the '49 back in the mix. I have been waiting for that one to return. I think that is even the one that got me hooked on your channel.
Hi Brent! It's impressive how you jump from one project to another! This promises to be very interesting!😎
Love the custom look, Pontiac trim, Caddy bumper.. Nice stuff.
Love the Waterfall on the hood, it would look Super Cool with the roof off
That roof is going cool I like that you want to make it nice looking not that patina shit this has been the best vlog in a long time Brent
Hey Brent great looking project from your ideas. waterfall yes fender flares yes caddy bumper yes side pipes yes small step up yes shorten bed no. I think you got a great vision so far and I think these episodes are very exciting, listening to the ideas and vision that you have for whatever project you’re working on. I have to say I liked that little dance that shimmy and shake you did when pulling out from it’s resting spot. Can’t wait to see it come together. Later
Really like the flared fenders . Caddy grill/bumper would be nice . Waterfall is a plus or minus have to wait and see , most likely a plus. You always have fun projects..
I like the fender flares and the Pontiac waterfall. Having a harder time picturing the Cadillac bumper. Bre nt I love your videos.
As it sits; thats a beautiful truck. Cant wait to see how she turns out.
Awesome job Brett. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab on. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
Nice roof swoop!
Definitely put the waterfall on and narrow the bumper and grill 👌
Looks fantastic!☆☆☆☆☆
Swept box!!!! Swept box!!!! Also... wheels and tires can be a huge motivator and help with setting the truck up properly!!
Brent yes put that trim on the hood water fall it really looks cool love the Carson top it's a beautiful truck.
Go with the flare old mate looks awesome cheers 🍻👍
Definite yes on the hood waterfall!
Your work always amazes me. Looking forward to this build.
The 48 is awesome with all that you had planned brent …fenders look good
I’m digging this build 👍🏴🏴❤️❤️
I do like the idea of a fender flare
Hey Hi again Halfass Costoms Brent and Ester from the D Michigan 😊 thanks for sharing your new project I'm looking forward to seeing it done 🎉❤
Absolutely go with the Square fenderlines, like You said this is KUSTOM.
I love it man you got the eye for Style
I've seen some cars with fenders so tight, they can't turn! It will all come together. Good start Brent.
Water fall chrome is lovely .Guess its too late to talk you out of the square wheel wells .Love your stuff anyway .More please young man .
I would temporarily wrap the roof with some white plastic wrap so it looks solid, then make a decision about the fender wells…. There is never a bad video from Half Ass Kustoms
