  • Martino should instead be lamenting how he's a mediocre coach

  • Interesting take on Pulisic, hearing the total opposite from AC Milan fans and Italian pundits about his performance. Love these guys but it seems like when someone critiques the structure of MLS or American football in general they go hard ball - but when Pulisic has a poor game at home vs a team they havent lost to in years suddenly we aren't being tough or holding people accountable. "No one wants to hear excuses" well unless your completely ignoring the Star of USMNT dropping a dud, this was a bit disappointing.

  • I would really like to see Charlie Davies get into coaching, at least start with maybe a youth coach for USA of NE Revs. Don’t get me wrong he has some odd takes sometimes in every show he’s been on but he’s body language and facials expressions when people say something stupid are always spot on. But when people say something that makes sense his face lights up. He’s passionate and has a solid career before his injury.

  • Sometimes I wonder if I'm watching the same match as the Americans when Pulisic is involved. Every time he scores a goal, despite having inconsistent performance all season, they reacted as if he's the next Messi and the US is going to win the World Cup!

    • Yeah I was gonna say am I crazy?? At least in the first half he was fairly poor, gave away possession a lot. Also my goodness, Jesse was in a therapy session today. Coaching? He should go into politics!

  • When Jesse had a small payroll compared to his opponents, he didn't complain, but he was swiftly relegated. I'm less concerned about coaching etiquette and more concerned about MLS actually trying to win these competitions. With team validations that are higher than most European leagues, we should be spending a lot more.

  • I agree with Charlie on the midfield but all of Milan was hot trash (maybe barring Gabbia and Calabria). Milan do need to be much better at set pieces. Roma are so frustrating with their epic flopping at times during cup competitions. The ref was so susceptible to their dark arts and Milan looked so depressed.
