Афигенный ремонт .балку в чермет.отверстие под шкворень прослабленно ,да ещё и коническое .во время езды шкворень размолотит эту хрень очень быстро.

Да они привыкли всё делать глупо и на коленках, проедет 1000км и слава богу... Прослабленный шкворень, да и пусть, и так пойдёт... Необразованные люди с минимальным набором инструментов и знаний не могут добиться большего априори!

@@damon7779 я видел как они выполняют ремонт любой другой техники, и не важно японская или нет! Они даже фен для волос будут ремонтировать с помощью сварки, изоленты и молитв... У них всё на соплях и проволоки везде держится... И эксплуатируется пока не развалится, а потом это опять соберут и опять будут эксплуатировать...
Там похоже и рессоры из пластилина, поэтому по 30 листов и ставят
@@hktundra 30ть листов хороших китайцы ставят и от этого есть толк, а эти по 50шт пластилиновых или б/у которые 20ть раз уже прокатали) и толку от них нет) плюс варенный переваренный чулок, рама резаком варенная... В общем очень эластичная и хрупкая конструкция получается)))

If ever " bodging " becomes a Olympic event these people are guaranteed " GOLD " it takes years of practice to get to that standard,
You have to admire these guys, give them a stick Welder and a handful of basic tools and they repair anything

I think the best term here is patched. They patched it up. While the weld looked good, it really did, the part was not properly pre heated so this weld will fail. Soon. Look at the load on this truck that broke the poor thing in the first place. By not heating the part it puts stress in the metal along the edge of the weld. The weakest side will break and someones goat may die as a result of the crash. Just imagine if it were your goat.
They repair anything with bad fixes. 10 miles down the road, that weld will crack open again!

@@geoffankrett7012 Yes, they can afford it. I know, because I trawelled there. And I used to repair busses and trucks, so I do know. That truck is out of service for half a day, maybe even a whole day. But as with many other things i that part of the world, “Insh Allah” takes responsibility off your shoulders, and you cary on with bad fixes. There are many excuses, but there is no excuse for not taking responsibility seriously!

one of the few places in the world were you can over load a truck by 500% fix it by the side of the road and just dive off afterwards with out having it unloaded and scrapped and the diver cited but saying that these guys are making do with what they have . i have some car repair books from the 1910 ans 1920 and they would do the same thing but with gas welding . so these guys are the bomb
yeah and that was a 100 plus years ago. We've learnt that this kind of repair ends up failing and killing people.

А все потому,что он знает секрет! Электрод ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО должен быть изогнут! Иначе удачи не видать! PS посмотрите на количество листов в рессоре ! Это явно сделано для избежания перегруза.

seems that it would have been a good idea to grind a vee to get deep weld penetration, do weld with a pin in place so that the hole stays relatively true. It amazes me that all these videos from that part of the world are characterized by extremely limited resources yet at the same time pushing machinery to ridiculous limits as a normal. You would think they realize the need to go easy on equipment.
They used a gouging rod in multiple places and then filled that in with weld. If nothing else, the welding was definitely good. The "machining" afterwards is super sketchy but you do what you can with what you've got.
@@Motronic944 Gouging just to be fast and cheap. But it needed grinding after and during the weld.
Yeah. But they didn't show the best part.....how they honed the busing bore out with some gravel and goat lard. Got it real smooth
Lesson from these videos - don’t buy used trucks in these places without a top to bottom inspection……these drivers overload by an astronomical amount and the ‘most used tool’ is a hammer

Люфт сверху видно смотрится 3-4 см когда проверял вставляли палец,дальше я молчу))))Иногда норм получается у них но эта робота требует токарного мастерства.
Одно знаю точно - водиле не позавидуешь.

The kingpin must be an interference fit in the beam. If it's right, you need at least a 15 ton press to remove it. If its loose like this, it will turn in the beam and not in the bearings. That is absolutely deadly. People who do such kind of death trap repairs should rot in jail.

I pretty much agree with the previous comments. Just adding that the truckers are probably making more than enough money to cover their overloaded truck repairs and if they didn’t break down from overloading, your “fix it” shops would be out of business. I’m in this to take in just how the parts can be given extended life by great people. While I don’t have the skills to do this repair type repairs, I can use the approach on minor repair projects.
I guarantee this truck is way overloaded. No rules there. Nearly all these “ repairs?” lol wouldn’t be allowed in many countries. But it’s amazing what these guys can accomplish with basic equipment and hard labor. Nothing is to spec but they get it done.

This is how people get killed on the roads!!! It’s not like you don’t have another one laying around or can’t get another one because they still make them. Th8s is exactly why you don’t ever ever do this!!! Showing this here just proves to everyone else around the world that you guys can’t fix anything to save your life.

Must be a challenge to get spare parts in this country. Would be interesting to load one of these jobs up on a press to see how much load it can take before and where it snaps Just for a test. With the amount of load these guys are hauling on their equipment they may as well make custom axlle with 3 inch kingpins to match spring packs with 20 leaf springs and chassis rails 3 in one. May as well double up on shock absorbers too !! Goes to show to what extremes these worker have to go to keep these vehicles rolling under the punishment that they face.

Man darf nicht länger als zwei Sekunden am Stück schweissen. Danach den Schweisspunkt mit Hammerschläge entspannen. Am Ende Entspannungs Glühen. Gruss aus den Alpen.
If these vehicles weren't overloaded to the excess in the first these repairs wouldnt be needed, also that front axle would of been heat treated from the factory by welding and heating most of the strength will be gone and more than likely fail again and possibly killing someone. I was taught you can pick two of the following Cheap, Good and Fast but you won't get all three.
Туфту сделали! Шкворень пролетает насквозь, не задерживаясь! Хватит тысяч на пять км, потом шкворень разобьёт проушину, и хорошо, если водитель не пострадает, дай то Бог!!! По нормальному, балку под замену без разговоров!! Хотя, смотрю этот бедлам давно, вижу, из чего они запчасти делают ( Аля Китай во время культурной революции, в каждом дворе по доменной печи) и не удивлюсь, если и новую запчасть не надолго хватит... Это ж надо, балку пополам ломают, ПОПОЛАМ, Карл! Я однажды налетел на отбойник, то у меня балку согнуло, но ни одной лопины, а здесь на ровной ( сравнительно ) дороге балка пополам!!! Смертники!!!
Никакая сварка ста процентов прочности в шве и около не даёт от изначального. Среднее для РДС - около 60%. Эта дель сразу продолжит дальше деформироваться гораздо быстрее.
@@Lifehackerys Сварочный шов ,в зависимости от электродов,такой же или прочнее родной стали. Дело в том,что возникают напряжение..изменения кристаллической решетки. Обычно рвет рядом со швом. Эта деталь делается из высокоуглеродистой.. стали..требует и определенного режима сварки и отжига.. И даже это не даёт гарантии для работоспособности узла.
@@gena2232 Да, я в курсе, поэтому и говорил о комплексе "Сварка - шов и около (него)" Литьевая -сталь- , а то сколько в ней углерода, видно по тому какое его количество уплывает/испаряется от дуги. Подогрев, сварка ацетиленом с науглероживающим пламенем, медленное охлаждение часов десять, и шансов было бы чуть больше. Такая работа больше новой балки стоит, и даже выполненная профи не будет долго ходить. Тем более с систематическими перегрузами. Они всего этого не знают, поэтому верят в себя.
Это обезьяний труд называется... Они не образованные, не имеют точного оборудования, соответственно и качество ремонта ниже самого низкого уровня...
Разновидность чугуна , судя по всему. И если это так, то далеко не уедет. Потому как варить чугун, это не забор с черняхи варить.

That front axel will fail again. The weld is only a surface weld and does not have a deep enough penetration to hold adequately. I suspect the next video we see of this vehicle is when it is in a serious accident.
At best this is a bush fix and nothing more. I can appreciate the effort but... will it work? for a little while. will it fail? absolutely. most likely in spectacular fashion killing someone for sure.
If OSHA was involved with this, the violations would fly..lol.

Not a bad job all things considered. Decent welding. In an ideal world they should have reamed the axle if its to tight you will not be able to steer it. Seen that happen to a repair on truck kingpin hammered in so tight the driver was standing up. In the cab and could not turn the steering wheel. My mates father had to strip it down ream it and reassemble job done.
What you are missing is that the kingpin was too tight in the spindle bushing. The pin needs to be tight in the axle and is looked in place with a bolt.
@@BobSmith-mc7uq hi please excuse me if i am missing something here. I am well aware the pin has to be a tight fit. But if it is to tight it will not steer. This happened on a scania tipper. Where someone did the job and as a result my mate's father had to strip it and ream it out put it back and the truck was okay. When you repair a crack like that it may well be oval. Thats all i was trying to say. Thanks Ruth.
@@ruthbees7214 The pin has to be tight in the axle beam itself, locked in place. The incident you are talking about relates to the spindle bushings not being honed properly. Definitely would cause hard steering.
