Vasily Is phenomenal. Just watched this, with only observing his foot movement. He is like a ballet dancer, which is what his father instructed him to do. An absolute boxing artist. The best lighter weight fighter I have seen.
Got to love how the best boxers acknowledge when they hit low, and step back, even let the other guy have a few hits at them. Loma, Manny, Canelo. Tyson etc.
Damn, this guy can fight! Maxwell, a tougher guy than most pro debut'ers get but loma showed his class. I'd like to see him campaign at 130 when this thing is over and move over to the states. He'll be a better pro than either gamboa or rigo. He shows more poise and discipline in the ring than either of the cubans do.

Well admittedly, this is the first time since I saw the Salido fight that his opponent was able to clich up and lean on Loma so much... But that's all I saw... Still amazing Loma, making *everyone* look like amateurs compared to him.
People havent seen much lomachenko fights other than de semi pro fights cuz theyre all saying lomachenko doesnt have power the guy has grazy power but he is fighting elite fighters in the wsb

Lomo vs Mayweather would be an amazing fight to watch. Two masters at defense and counter striking, Lomo with his accurate and demoralising combos would destroy Mayweather. Lomo isn't just a volume puncher, when he starts really swinging on someone, in addition to the pace he sets and maintains, is too much for Mayweather now. However, if Mayweather in his prime and Lomo in his current state were to fight today maybe a different story, but doubtful.
Mayweather at 130? Nope.
I wouldn't say loma is a master of defense, he seems more like a normal all round boxer( southpaw) but just way better than his his opponents, it's like he toys with them.
His trainer told him "Ne zarezhaca" meaning - "Do not load it" e.g. "Do not put your weight behind it". It is strategy, not capability.

I think Lomachenko is a smart fighter, once he figures out his opponent, he goes to work. If he keeps developing professionally, he will be quite a fistic phenomenon. His opponent in this bout is a good boxer for this level, so Lomachenko is very capable.

when there used to fighting 3/4 rounds, as you knowthey have to go hell for leather.10 and 12 rounders will induce the jab for energy levels, but I still think Lomachenko is too good against every major fight since the the 1st selimov fight,and he was only 17 then.

Pit loma to pacman now if they really want to test him. Pacman according to some boxing expert is already old and washed up. Loma is bigger than pacman by frame to frame - if he is that great and skillful he could beat pacman at WW, but thats remain to be seen.

Lamachenko is a good fighter! But he is obviously being built up and he has a lot to prove! He did not win the first round he landed one measly punch that was accompanied with a head butt and its obvious he has home crowd advantage!
He beat the shit out of Maxwell in England in their second fight, the video of that fight is on youtube as well.
