@@_Clerg Loma got 396 wins and 1 loss as an amateur. He was 26 years old when he lost his 2nd pro fight to a mediocre fighter after extensive experience fighting hundreds of bouts. It is 100% fair to judge him negatively for this. Was 26 his prime given his late start? Maybe not. Who tf cares. That's not the point. The guy had lots of amateur experience and losing that early in his pro career to a mediocre opponent is a big blemish on his record no matter how you look at it. It singlehandedly disqualifies him from consideration as goat for LW when there are people with unquestionably better records in way more competitive eras of the sport. Loma is the best LW right now, in a weak division with mediocre competition. That is it. Only someone who doesn't know anything at all about boxers before the 2000s would call him the best ever
Lomachenko is a fluid beast machine. He boxed for first four rounds then showed his heart and destroyed maxwell in the last. He can box as well as fight like an animal.

I think Maxwell should transition into wrestling...he's halfway there already! Sometimes I think ref's need to take a hard line with holding, and deduct points a little quicker. One would think that would help like-minded boxers to get out of that habit and learn their lesson.

But on a different note watch Selimov v Lomachenko and you can kinda see how the style gives Loma problems, Selimov more skilled but the long counterpunching laid the blueprint. That fight should've been a draw. First half Lopez, 2nd half Loma.

The refereee told him not no chickenwing-grab loma's arms but he did it 5 seconds after 21:11 / 25:39 And I don't speak about previous rounds. This dude deserved 15 red cards, it's outrageous, not letting the opponent play. Maxwell, just give up if you can't fight him, don't break the match and wonderful Loma combos ! WE WANT ACTION, no hugs.

This fight took place during the IHD, international hug day, someone should had told Loma.
All inclusive, fast movements, quick punches, accurate and proper to both the head and the body. What was missing was a final devastating hard punch that would have finished the bout. I’d like to see Lomachenko against the Mexican fighters in his weight division. Could be very interesting ....
The old 1\2 would do a lot to keep lomo at Bay. Jab jab right. Maxwell didn't use his height advantage very well

The ref and the commentators were horrible. Maxwell was holding Lomachenko's arm throughout the entire fight but the ref failed to take away a point for it. Not to mention multiple hits to the back of Lomachenko's head.

Existen muchos árbitros inútiles como este (o injusto) que dejan pasar muchas faltas. hasta ahora yo no he visto a un peleador tan limpio para pelear como Loma. There are many useless referees like this (or unfair) who let many faults go by. So far I have not seen a fighter as clean to fight as Loma.
