I love watching Loma, esp. in the first 2-3 rounds. You can almost see his mind working, figuring out reach, timing, power, ring IQ, etc. His precision reminds me of a doctor performing an intricate procedure. By the 4th round, he's done figuring out what he needs to do, puts on a 'locked-on target mode', then goes to work dismantling his victim. Boxing fans know what a treasure Lomachenko is and how fortunate we are. that we're boxing fans during his reign! He's an awesome athlete! Thanks so much for the upload! Outside the salido fight which was really hard to watch. Poor referee. Lots of dirty tactics by salido and lots of clinching by Loma. All of his other fights have been high pace action fights. He’s never in a boring fight. Gotta respect that. He’s got a ridiculous motor.

These announcers are nuts. Salido didn’t out hustle Loma. There were 67 low blows and 28 fouls. The referee beat Loma that night. Wtf are they talking about? 😂😂
It was as if the referee was against Loma. The ref thought it was wwf night and he was part of the show, I guess! As a Texan, I was embarassed the way Loma was treated. Loma won that fight!!
If the ref isn't doing what he's supposed to, get dirty back. It's a fight. That's why it was a good learning experience, regardless of why he lost, he lost. But even better than that, he doesn't use it as a crutch like his fanatics, he used it and got even better. It's not the end of the world.
Back then he's not experience enough to exchange back that's actually how you get the attention of the ref if you're opponents been dirty tactics then use it as well. Loma still got that olympian mentality where there supposed to be code of sportsmanship but in a pros world you have to fight for 12 and do whatever you have to do to win. Well he learned a lot after that fight. Remember when pacquiao got that technical draw for not dirtying back with sanchez then he learned and when he fought barrera he knew what to do when barrera doing sneaky punches. Salido is experienced and he use that advantage against loma.

The speed power and precision of Loma paired with his footwork and ring IQ is a cheat code. Some of the cleanest combinations you will see. He knows what's coming before his opponent even throws it and knows where to be to land the counter.
Lomas relentless pressure is unbelievable. Mix that with footwork, angles, and feints wow. Unbelievable.
Campbell is a good fighter. Loma is just on another level.

What a great performance from Campbell. Besides Linares, he really looked good against Loma. Its apparent that consistent circular movement can somewhat hinder Loma's supernatural footwork/blocking of sightlines.

Take away Loam’s angles, and he ain’t so great any more, Teofimo, Linares, and Campbell all gave him hard fights. Ik Salido was cheating but even if he fought fair, his style woudlve given Loma problems regardless because of his pressure and inside fighting, which takes the angles away. Loma ain’t no Pacquiao who is still a force to be reckoned with, with or without angles

Weak Linares Knocked down Loma and he's not as fast and strong as Teofimo. Teofimo might knock Loma out cold.
@@frankt5987 linares is faster than teofimo actually. Luke has power which loma proved he can take since he was caught with several in this fight and responded well. Luke is also taller and longer than teofimo. Loma will beat teofimo easily, I think 9-3 UD decision.
Loma has great skills but not in the class of lets say Roberto Duran as a lightweight because he does not have that power. For todays fighter he is good enough but not in the class of the fighters of the 70's and 80's. He just doesn't punish his opponent. Look at looks face. No damage what so ever.

Seeing some of the comments about Ryan.. Styles make fights. Loma doesn’t have the height or reach Ryan has. Campbell was able to take advantage of that but can’t do that against Ryan. Linares vs Campbell is a more accurate fight to watch to see how Luke will do against Ryan

@Josh warner Wrong, Luke was fighting off the backfoot very well using his reach and taking the necessary step backs and pivoting with loma to prevent loma from establishing a positional advantage. He was also countering Loma coming as he was off the backfoot.

He was waiting for Loma to slip the shots so that he could catch him coming in, as mentioned in the interview with his coach. Luke cambell was ranked 1st for the WBC after Haney vacated hence why he fought him for the unification for the vacant belt. The fight also occurred because the fight between Loma and Commey for the IBF fell apart due to commey being injured. So, instead of waiting for Commey to recover, Loma went for the unification bout for the WBC in place of the ibf.

In the interview with Cambells coach, the reason several of his jobs looked weak because they needed to just keep Loma thinking. When cambell out more force into his punches Loma just slipped or blocked them. You're comparing apples to oranges. All you're doing is discrediting Loma, cambell put up a good effort. Loma is just that good he makes it look easy. Felix diaz is no where near as good as Loma, levels below him.

Johnny this cat he was fighting has nothing. No power whats so ever no inside fighting ability. Could you imagine going back to the 1970's and imagine Lomo moving up to fight a in their prime Roberto Duran. He would not take that fight as he would be killed. He would have ended his career especially when those fights went 15 rounds. I starting watching boxing in the 60's. He is good for this age in boxing which is saying very little.
Loma a complete boxer,no doubt. But he was cautious of Campbell's power.
That and Campbell is also a southpaw and much taller. Makes the fight a bit more challenging in terms of using his usual moves

Campbell was so much more prepared for this bout than for the Garcia bout. Maybe he knew that his time is now past after the Loma bout. Even if he beat Garcia it would have been seen as Garcia was over hyped. The Loma fight took a lot out of him probably.
The only way to prepare for Loma. Is to fight two men at one time for months and months.
And also have a piece of meat tied to your leg and have a hungry chihuahua nip at your legs to practice your footwork

Loma is like a father discipling his son. Props to Luke making this a fight, but he was completely outclassed here. I think that was an amazing counter to the pull counter in the 7th round. Unfortunately he become too obvious and sloppy going for the kill, a complete difference in ability when compared to moments later with Lomachenko knocking him back.
