Next up for Top Rank Boxing, Former unified junior lightweight world champion Mikaela Mayer returns in a 10-round junior welterweight battle against Italian contender Silvia Bortot on Saturday, Sept. 2 at AO Arena in Manchester, England.
Mayer-Bortot will take place on the undercard of the highly anticipated middleweight rematch between bitter rivals Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr.

    • I thought he did as well as almost anyone against Loma, without actually landing enough heavy punches to make the difference. Like the commentators said, it seemed like Campbell had another gear, but never really went for it and just throw leather. Too much respect for Loma, I guess?

  • I think bc if his heart and skill loma is a pure fighter!! Definitely in my top ten of all time!! Unlike some fighters he fights seldom taking off a round wish he had the weight to have fought floyd Mayweather...defensive vs offense. Anywho Loma is one of the best hands down.

  • It’s pretty sad to watch a fighter fighting dirty the entire fight (there should have been an elbow counter for every time Campbell threw and connected an elbow against Loma), only to end it in the last round by throwing an intentional low blow and then turning the fight into a wrestling match by grabbing his opponent’s leg with both hands and dumping him onto his backside. Like most British fighters, Luke Campbell is a disgrace to boxing.

  • Man Luke probably landed more against loma than anyone else. I've seen this fight maybe 8 times now, and always saw how good Luke did. But dam this time I noticed all kinds of shots he was landing, in many rounds. If not for that 5th and 11th round, could have gone Luke's way. Luke should have went for it at the end though. Like they were saying, should have went for broke.
