Taunts Then Knocks Out! Vasiliy Lomachenko's Best Performances

Even in the talent-rich world of boxing Vasiliy Lomachenko managed to become a one-of-a-kind sensation. Irrepressibly expanding his collection of titles, Loma was the first in history to capture belts in 3 divisions in just 12 pro bouts. Today, we will review the best works of Vasiliy Lomachenko, a sweet science luminary, who effortlessly moves the edges of reality.

  • Loma fights in the mid to close range, has the output and aggressiveness of a slugger, connects on a high pct of his punches, and somehow manages to avoid getting hit. Ive never seen a boxer like that. Prime Loma was pure poetry.

    • Its good you understand how rare a talent he is. Most people dont realize that he does all of what he does inside of peoples range. Other boxers wish they could do what he does...sure hes got a few losses now, but either way that type of style is almost impossible to maintain at the highest level. Most fighters need that range to evade but Loma...nah. Treasure watching him while we can because his type of skillset is very rare.

Loma isn’t a big guy haha, but its just a testament to Loma’s ability and talent. Its not by chance that Loma & Usyk are both fighters that use superior Movement, Conditioning, and Ring IQ to outwork and overwhelm opponents that are much bigger and at Higher weights. Its all very impressive.👊🏼💪🏼

    • Loma is one of best fighters I have ever seen in my 50 years following the sport. For a small man with short arms he routinely bests the tail off of larger opponents who have reach advantages. His athleticism is insane. While he is boxing well above his weight at lightweight he is still a top fighter. The Haney fight will be interesting.

Long periods of very limited offense (such as during the Lopez fight) are the only detractor I can think of, and that was likely due to an injury. Otherwise, he has blinding speed, incredible precision, and power even when he's fighting well above his natural weight class. Great video, VoteSport!

  • As a fan that grew up with Hearns, Leanard, Haggler , Oscar, RJjr, Tyson and even the closing of Alis reign, I can confidently say that I haven’t seen a Talent like Lomachenko since the Great Ali. Loma is truly amazing to watch. His only kink might be his power, but he certainly makes up for it. I’m convinced he can fight at the same pace for 20 rounds.

  • When Loma let's his hands go there isn't anyone who is better in this division. It's crazy to watch Loma will use his straight left a lot vs Haney as well as body shots. My guess is Loma will floor Haney with a body shot just like he did to Linares. Haney leaves his mid section open A LOT and since he does have good defense and will likely use his legs to get away from Loma, when he tries to hug, expect Loma to break out of the hugging and attack his body while he's close I find it absolutely amazing that people try to discredit this man. At his REAL weight classes of 126 and 130 this man might be the best ever. Everyone wants to discredit him because he's not looking as good at 135 but HELLO, he's out of his element. He is only at 135 cause no one will fight him lower and he wants that undisputed title I hope Loma puts on a show on Haney who has been talking a whole lot and shocks the world. Other young boxers like Shakur think Haney will put on a master class and it's all based on "size". Haney being bigger ignoring that Loma is a better technical fighter than Haney and is more skilled. Size doesn't beat Loma alone. Size, Speed, Power and Agression did (and with a bad shoulder). Teo had power and aggression that Haney doesn't have. Ortiz had footwork to dance with Loma, great speed and aggression. To "control" Loma you MUST BE AGGRESSIVE offensively and keep him playing defense because if you let him play offense...like I said earlier, once he lets his hands go its a wrap.
