He was telling people he had colon cancer through his jokes. As a colon cancer survivor he describe the exact symptoms that sent me to the hospital before i was diagnosed. RIP norm he remained strong till the end.
@@check4v MAH NIGGA! OUR LIVES MATTER!
@@check4v no lmfao it was acute leukemia
@@NoSpoonsAllowed stop spreading porky pies, he got struck by a city bus

“What better way to keep a secret than to tell a room full of drunks?” 😂😂😂
“ what do you like to drink ? ,other than Jizzz” 🤣🤣
He drinks it under the Queensboro bridge
I didn't expect that at all and almost died
"I like to stretch my drug dollar" The king of perfect word choice
Seriously, the way he words things is so hilarious, hard for me to put in my own words!

I’m a Normaholic, I’m addicted to Normahol
I also am a Normaholic, its been 3 months and 16 days since my last Norm
I’m a Normalolic, addicted to Normalol
That’s not normal
of all the diseases, this may be the best one.
I'll never stop watching Norm
I second that!
I…I don’t think I can
Unless you get in a draw with cancer
Until I die!
It’s a lifestyle, really.
Can we please all get together and try to bring this man back to life? It was his dying wish!
😂😂😂
I thought it was for us to not have sex with his body.
It reminds me of that tragedy
@@thisatticdancer731 ???.....Oh, yeah! When all that stuff happened in New York!
@@keymaster430 I walked through blood and bones
I too have been bamboozled by big acid. A few hundred times…
Acid is a pyramid scheme, emphasis on pyramid
I love pyramids lol
Is that why you don't remember how to spell your name, Mike?

Jealous. L.S.D. is the Best! But hard to get due to repressive Old ideology!
As a recovering alcoholic myself, this actually made me laugh out loud. He describes AA pretty accurately haha
Me too, that part had me laughing so much. Some of the things I’ve heard in meetings just floors me. It’s amazing how many people have killed someone, usually driving accidents while intoxicated, and only serve a few years.
not very anonymous of you…
if you go to AA, you were being an alcoholic for attention
Disease = chronic, progressive, fatal. ☠️
@@zack_iamWhy?? You now recognise the person who made the comment? You can tell who they are, where they go to AA meetings and everybody else that goes??
I like to stretch my drug dollar. Too funny
"It's true you got a disease, but you got the best one" - Lol legend
Norm could say the most fucked up stuff and still get a laugh. 😂
Reminds me of that national tragedy XD
My grown daughter got me a Turd Ferguson shirt for my birthday, she knows the deal 😂
shes a keeper
Can i date her
I love him. And I love his comedy about “the disease of alcoholism “ and the non anonymity of Alcoholic’s Anonymously. 😂😂😂
Why the quotes?
@@aaronschutte7160 Because Norm was playing on the idea of “the disease of alcoholism”?
@@aaronschutte7160 it’s not worth the arguing in comments. Let the man just appreciate Norm and leave the disease model discussion to more serious content
@@peanutbutterdijonnaisesandwich I would have gladly done that if it weren't for the quotes. He used the quotes for a reason, to send a message. He knew exactly what he was doing, and it goes FAR beyond just appreciating Norm. Read between the lines.
"Haha"
He's so talented that he connected this rant across different years and places!
Nothing like coming across Norm to brighten your day- and laugh hysterically while you're at it. The world is a better place for Norm having been in it.
“If I happen to die in the hallway, stay the hell away from me” is a great punchline.
I never saw that necrophilia bit at the the end. I am dying 😂! And you befter stay the hell away from me if I do!
remember earlier when i said i wasn't better than you people, i am! i am better than you people!
Listening to Norm’s Late Show Appearances make me feel happy
Norm MACdonald as letterman says it, is my all time favorite, I re watch his stand up, and his late show clips, he's one of the best guest's on the Conan show and letterman, and his opening monologue at the espy's is classic norm, he was the type of guy that would say anything, just flat out hilarious. The fact that he never revealed that he was battling cancer fits him so well. He had a bit about a guy that had cancer and that in the end the cancer won, he said it was weird that the last thing they say about the guy is he lost his battle with cancer, so the last thing he did was lose and that they are calling him a loser, ( I definitely didn't do his joke justice but it's funny AF when he tells it) don't worry norm nobody thinks you're a loser, you were a stand up guy and someone that millions of people admired and loved. Thanks for all the laughs you gave us and continue to give me.
Let's be clear here, Norm battled the cancer to a draw.
I miss Norm he was great No one can compare to his natural comedic genius!
@Joseph Bowles he appeared to be a cross between Letterman and Newman.
and the worst part is that we will never know where he got his ideas for the jokes
I didn't even know he was sick
I bet his dog house was glorious!
so sad to hear him describe the bowel pains. he is clearly speaking from experience. man he must have suffered so much in total silence while making the whole world laugh. Norm was an enlightened being, he did his job well.
Acute leukemia buddy... or so the germans would have us believe
He had bowel cancer in the early 90s and 80s
No, stomach cancer in the '80s
@@JosephScott-ct9sw 🏅
he had screeching, searing, ripping pains
Im sure almost all of us have heard all these jokes many times but the genius of Norm is they are as funny the 50th time as they where the first.
one of the best ever. Period.
More of a compilation than a rant, but I dig it non the less. Thank you for the video! RIP Norm.
More of a comment really
I didn't even know he was sick
*nonetheless
Guys a real jerk
@@matturner6890 whoops lol! Silly me!!! Thank you for the correction. Had it not been "fro yourr! da peeps dat be up pon da ya KZhead maybe not knewr hows about tur speek allz adn rr praughpr likez" Whoops silly me again! I needed to make an edit. I misspelled something. 😐
Having just started aa and an honest dedication to sobriety from alcohol, i needed this today.
Good luck man! Make sure not to blow a dog for a pint of gin
God speed!
@at7915 heh, no I was never that bad. Didn't meet many ladies with the same issue either
God bless.
Have a cigar ! Welcome to the club
I battled heroin addiction for awhile and sometimes I refer to my addiction as "what a jib that turned out to be" . Thank you Norm lmao
His stand up skit on alcoholism is one of the best stand up routines ever,so funny.
Crying from laughing Even tho I’ve seen bits fifteen times already. I often listen to Norm when I’m having trouble getting to sleep … it puts things in perspective.
That is my favorite stand-up of Norm's. He was killing that night. RIP Norm. ❤
Miss you norm and thanks for giving us all a part of you every time you went up on stage we're all forever grateful.
Norm and Dave together is comedy heaven!
I prefer Norm and Conan. But really anything with Norm is gonna entertain me lol
🤣 Oh God bless you Norm, we're still laughing🥰
If I should happen to die in the hallway, Just stay the hell away from me alright!
Norm was great in the NA meeting. So serious and believable. Could have been great in the right dramatic role.
Hell yeah smoke crack.
How long do you have?
He was in a dramatic role in Dirty Work with Artie
@@lloydclaussen3925 thanks much
I have a bit of a problem and I go to NA meetings myself, only it's Normaholics Anonymous.
I can listen to norm everyday it will never get old
I first saw Norm's sketch with Necrophyiliac's Anonymous a few years ago. I am still laughing at it
3:30 , we find out now he was the Uncle , and his stomach cancer was likely the fuel for that 'joke' about searing stomach pain 😢 Norm you are a LEGEND 💯
Must have felt good to get that out in the air, relieving even.
Absolute GENIUS because he could tackle so many taboo topics and blow 'em up so well and so creatively. Thanks NORM! - for a lifetime of funny I will revisit regularly. Being able to do that long story on Letterman (then many times on Conan) was a huge thing. Break the rules and pull of something only a handful of others have done well.
The way he tells stories always draws me in.
Love how happy Norm is when he gets to pretend to be offended by something Dave Letterman said
Norm had the greatest sense of humor.
We all miss you Norm.
"I don't do alcohol or booze, hardest drug I've ever done LSD" norm was such a genius to point out that LSD is less harmful than the other drugs, that is such a great joke
Well shit. I guess I'll be taking LSD from here on!
Was that the joke or was the joke that LSD is a harder drug and so him saying it is unexpected? Also no LSD is very harmful.
Nobody can do what norm did. Genius 😂
Anyone remember his Canadian flag bit? "It invites burning!" 😂✌️✊️
yes I do ! I was 15 years old, stoned, laying on the couch laughing my arse off! stretched my laugh dollar out for 43 years!
Fuck Norm is funny. He was on SNL when I was 12 years old. Thats when I discovered comedy. Him and Will Ferrell made me laugh my ass off. I really wish we got an old senile Norm. I can't even imagine how funny that would be
This is not a rant, this is a compilation. Every time you make a video with a clickbait title, a little girl falls off her bike.
LoL
I'd love to see a compilation of that.
That's why he does it
😂
Good.
The Necrophiacs Anonymous bit at the end I had tears coming from my eyes laughing.
Great collection. Thank you for sharing!
Watching Dave genuinely laughing at Norm's stories says it all. I grew up watching Dave, he's the best. Late nite has been a wasteland since Dave retired. Conan is the only one that carried the torch. Fallon is a sad commentary on late night, he's a sad little Sycophant.
Love the sarcasm. Nice and thick!
Never seen that Letterman that was absolutely amazing!
Good Lord, we need Norm today more than ever.
That cocaine thing is hilarious!!! "You're partly right.."
Laughter is the best medicine and Norm is my pharmacist.
I didn't even know he was sick
That first joke Nick read really aged well
sheer brilliance.
Omg I had to stop the video I was laughing so uncontrollably 😂
Pure genius, miss you NORM ❤❤
In his offhand way every word is chosen with absolute precision for maximum comic effect.
"They're so ahead of things, they have sex...and they don't even use lady!!"😂😂
"other than f---in jizzz" 🤣
All these years - Norm was Uncle Burt RIP - we didn’t even know you were sick.
Norm died from leukemia, not bowel cancer.
Great to see Norm doing more stuff
Just noticed that Uncle Burt was Norm himself...
Norm died from leukemia, not bowel cancer.
Please Please, Lotd above, let my memory fade just enough that I never run out of fresh Norm McDonald comedy, even at the expense of losing my Buddhist depth of cool.
My god. I've been the designated driver a few times and there's no torture worse on earth...
I used to do it regularly and you’re right, it can be a brutal night.
Did the sober driving just get some trim!😂😂😂 yup😅
Ahh don't take a wild swing at me while im not looking!
Norm will always be the king.
I never saw that last sketch before. LMFAO
Pride goeth before destruction. And an haughty spirit before a fall.
The last skit has me crying man that was so funny lmao
The best comedian to ever grace this foul world.
you got the best one🤣
He didn’t lose his battle with cancer. Ultimately, they came to a draw.
Norm probably had bowel cancer when he recorded this.
That one segment
@user-zt1ym7zc7p that was my fave 2 😢
Norm is such a legend
That opening joke is well crafted
15:49 😂😭💀 Keep your hands to yourselves!
An absolute legend
Letterman didn’t like the gay guys not needing women for sex joke 😂😂😂
Norm operated on a completely different frequency and i miss him dammit! 😭
Norm is legend . If he could only stay away hes problem gambling . RIP the goat .
Seems to me he came out on top in the end
He's not betting today hahahaha
heard his latest spread is 6 feet under! The Greatest !
Went through a few tissues just then!, Hilarious!, R.I.P Norm!, miss ya SNL Updates!.
Asking Adam who is sober what drink he likes lol 😅
The last part 😂
It reminds me of that tradagy.
I Miss that old chunk o’coal ❤
He was genius. I’m in pain from laughing so hard
15:44 norm just took that on the chin haha
I was at my kitchen table when my now ex said, "babe, Norm died." Never forget - kinda like that national tragedy 9-11
I didn't even know he was sick
I was visiting my parents for a few days. I'd just gone to bed and was watching some Norm videos when I read the news in the comments.
I'll always think of that joke. I sent this pic of a firefighter memorial that looked like a dick from behind between a couple of pillars to my good friend and said, Kinda reminds you of that one tragedy. His parents called me a couple hours later to tell me they just found him dead on his floor.
@@Bonez0rsame for me, I was watching a ton of Norm stuff and all the sudden in the comments there it was. I’ve never scrambled to get to google faster, I was hoping so bad that it was a joke because with Norm fans you never know. Sadly this time it was not 😢
How can anyone not love Norm
So BRILLIANT
Great montage. Norms book is hilarious. He never wastes an opportunity to shit on eget lol
The end tho 🖤
Norm was cleaver af 😂
Definitely was a very sharp individual
1:48 the fact he said that to John Travolta makes it 10x funnier
Man, the stand up about alcoholism and the C word is a dark one.
