Trash Wood To Treasure - Epoxy & Copper Cutting Board | Serving Board
Epoxy resin and copper handled walnut serving board/cutting board/ charcuterie board. The latest in my trash wood to treasure series is this cutting board (aka serving board or charcuterie board) made from leftover walnut slab off cuts, white pearl epoxy resin, and copper handles with epoxy end caps. I cut recesses for whiskey glasses, cheeses, and accompaniments. I made sure to leave plenty of the wood surface for cutting as well, but this will primarily be a cheese board for us. Finally a project I get to keep and use often! Thanks for checking out this epoxy resin and copper handled walnut serving board/cutting board/ charcuterie board.

How could I not watch to the end. Cheese... Verry nice job.
Dude, I LOVE the incorporation of the copper pipe for handles. Filling the ends with matching white epoxy was a very nice touch as well. Well done! 👏
"Cheese" love it
Cheese! Man, nothing better at the end of a project than Manhattan's and snacks. This is awesome.
Absolutely STUNNING result! GORGEOUS! I love it!

“Cheese!” Beautiful work. I’m inspired to build something similar for the misses.
Excellent job
Really beautiful Jonny! I love the contrast of the walnut with the white epoxy!
Jonny, very, very cute! Loved the idea. Congratulations!
Beautiful.
CHEESE. Beautiful board. I'm a newbie to woodworking and this will be my first ever build. Can't wait to see how my board turns out.
Cheese Two of my favorite things, copper and walnut. Very nice.
Cheese and WOW!
That is so beautiful
I did not know you could add mineral oil to resin like that and it would dry on the resin. I thought it had to soak into the wood, this video has mede me rethink my cherry party platter thanks and awesome job.
That was awesome. Cheese! :)
Bad ass piece!!
CHEESE - nice work.
Cheese!! I don't think I would've made the epoxy white but that is all subjective. The serving board was a well crafted thing of beauty! Thank you for sharing this content!!!
Those are such a good tips to use the cutoffs to help keep the holes for the handles from chipping out and to use the centering jig to get the holes started. Nice one! Say, "Cheese!" 😉
Very nice project
Cheese! Great board. Love those little touches that make your work products special and stand out from the masses. On a different note: you seem a bit taller than many folks and it doesn't seem you customized your work surfaces to accommodate your height. Take care of your back - others can adjust to your-sized work surfaces in the less time they spend on them, just as you have done/do on standard issue work tables/machines. Just sayin' 🙂 Love your work. Love your channel. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Incredible. Very careful and super detail project.
Very nice, the copper handles are really great
Beautifully done!
"Cheese" Great video. That is very cool. Very classy looking. CNC machine is cool. Could watch that machine work all day.
Beautiful
Cheese! Nice job...
Enjoyable watch, thanks for sharing the walk through
CHEESE! Beautiful serving board!
Very busy piece. A lot of time. Very nice nonetheless
Stunning work sir🏴
This is the wildest woodworking video that I have ever seen!
Great design. Looks really cool.
Thats beautiful. I wish instead of cutting the copper pipe flush with the board, some kind of copper cap would have been pretty too.👍
Formagio! Remarkable work! Really well done.

Cheese. Great job
Nice project well done!
Cheese. Amazing project. Has me completely inspired
Awesome work!
Starting that hole with a Forstner bit may have helped with that drill bit tearout
Those copper handles with the exposed epoxy on the end... insanity. This looks so dope!
Cheese I look forward to doing more wood working.
Cheese 🧀 - I'd love one of those!!
Beautiful job, Jonny! Really amazing board! 😃 Stay safe there, dude! 🖖😊
Very talented and classy, you should do a cutting board next and I know it sounds dull but with your imagination it would be great.. keep the projects coming.

"Cheese", Very awesome board!
Cheese!! Another great build.
Brie 😉 bought some brass rod to make the handles in chopping boards I made for Christmas.
I been looking for a way to do a small epoxy pour. Had thought about this. Gives me a better idea on what to make, now.
Ótimo trabalho...parabéns!!!
Cheese! Great project!
Cheese! Nice job 👍
Cheese - great project!
Very cool project! Especially in a world where epoxy rivers are getting kind of CHEESE-y
Cheese. Great video.
Cheese That's a very nice project 👍👍
Cheese. Love the serving tray and how you put the copper handles on it. May I suggest suing some Brasso or NeverDull to polish the brass instead of the micro mesh sanding discs. It will take less time. Thank you for the inspiration.
CLASSY.
Jonny, I can’t stop talking about this board to my husband. May I ask how much you would charge for this board and/or how much time you have in it? My husband has a wood shop and I’m pressing him to buy a CNC. We would just be weekend warriors as we are with our laser but I’m trying to understand how much active time goes into a beauty like this and if we were to make a few to sell what price range we should expect to charge. Again, this is really gorgeous and such a smart design. The copper, the epoxy on the ends of the tubing, the white epoxy against the walnut, really elegant detailing. Color me a fan!
Cheese! Great build brother
