  • Thank you soo much, I tried this method but still had issues using using the West Systems epoxy that I usually use, so I tried a different epoxy I pulled out some UVPOXY from Ecopoxy and it was night and day, my very first try looks amazing, enough so that I'm going to make an ocean table after I've done some more practice, again learning from a PRO is never a bad option

  • These are very beautiful. I showed them to a friend and she wants one. I have just finished by first river table and have experience making canoes with epoxy. I want to try making one of these. It looks like the cutting boards are finished. Do you have to sand the areas where the waves go? Or will the epoxy stick to the finish without sanding? Thanks for the video!

    • I let it drips. Some people tape the bottom. I don't because it never comes out clean. So, I let it drip then I place it upside down on a foam pad and sand the drips off. After that I oil and wax the bottom back to a nice finish.

  • I love your instruction, but I had to watch it several times(I'm new at this). Anyway I have two questions.. first I tried to use a bamboo cutting board and the resin did not stick!! Weird. Do you have to use a certain non coated board? Second how do you deal with all the drips on the edges???

Id like to know if the resin you use can be for both casting since river tables use thick volume anyways and I see you do the waves too.
