@@rageagainstmyhatchet If the total war community had it their way they would rather CA not innovate or do anything new. All they want is another Rome 1/Empire 1/Shogun 2/Medieval 2. CA is a bad and lazy company, but their community isn't any better tbh. Pharaoh isn't a terrible game but it's being boycotted and review-bombed because of CA politics. Can't wait for the next historical TW and everyone is going to melt down over complete non-issues because it isn't like CA's older games.
CA already doesn't play their own games so no change there!

Really shows the difference between someone making a game out of passion and love instead of a massive company making a game using spreadsheets and market data to appease their shareholders.
Yes, this goes for all industries really. Films are perhaps the best example these days however, due to the indie scene being so impossible to make profitable and the long history of test screenings and such (in Hollywood, that is).

@@oldmatttv A prime example of this is the Astartes animation films for the warhammer lore. Games workshop puts out low quality animations while this one dude made a very very high quality film for the franchise.

So excited for this. The beta test was fantastic - couldn't stop playing it! The music is divine.

The beta was basic and was essentially an average gridless city builder.
It lacks SSAO or similar effect when closeup to models so they look too bright, but given this is Alpha/Beta it will probably be fixed. Still looks great, can't wait!

This is what modern Stronghold should have been. Manor lords is like the OG game, but with modernised systems. It's a guarantee for success

This would be an improved version of Stronghold 2. I am glad developers were able to create a better version of it. One big thing other RTS games don't do: Use villagers to create an army.
