  • This video has me thinking about how amazing it would be if you could actually play this as a colony sim game and develop a village into a city with this kind of building option. It would just be fantastic. Also, imagine if it had a procedurally generated map with random locations where you could send out a team of adventurers or a band of soldiers from your starting village to explore, visit other towns and cities, trade, and complete quests. My mind is just running with all sorts of ideas after watching this video. What a great video!

  • Wines growing up walls in time are such a beautiful detail. I would love to see more life interacting with the buildings. It can be tiny humans walking inside structures or seen behind windows, or a knight on his horse riding pass by as you build more and more, or wild animals checking the place up. Just a feeling of living things acknowledging the creation happening.

    @DuneDemon8@DuneDemon84 ай бұрын
    • I would absolutely love that. I love what we have already and the vines are a great touch, but i want more. Think of the ambiance. What stories you could tell. Small woodland creatures lurking on the side of the woods, while a knight rides into a small town at the foot of a hill. People going on with there day as usual, as the knight bolts through the small town. The knight galloping on he's horse toward the foot of the hill, where a great castle stands defiant.

  • I am so excited for this game!! I love the smoothness of adding buildings, terraforming the ground, and picking colors. The sound design is also immaculate! A few things I noticed: is there a way to bulk edit colors? Will there be snap to guides for level windows? Will the nighttime lighting be adjusted (it seemed a little too bright blue as opposed to a softer dusky blue)? I also liked other people’s ideas for colored axis arrows, idle animations, and growing vines :) absolutely thrilled for this game!

  • I already love this. Just found this and i have a few things to say. I love the sounds design so god damn much. The bricks sound heavenly and it sounds so nice when you interact with them (build with em or place sth on it). The music is also very relaxing but also nostalgic. Reminds me of Zelda: breath of the wild. The visuals are also very cute and nice. I also don't really a lot of things i would also add as as soon as i thought "Huh. That would be cool to have" it would show up later, or when i wonder "Why are the walls doing that?" then later on i realize why its that way. Tho I would also like to see two things in the future. They aren't that important of course, but some things i would love to have/ would be good dlc ideas. I would love to have like wood or mud as a material or even hay roofs. I would love to have a small farms out side the castle what are more humble. And the other idea was to have the ability to change the area you have been given. Idk if this is already a feature, but it would be nice to have a chance to choose how large you can build. You could even make a whole country side. Imagine. Small groves of woods and farms in between some villages or other castles. You could even add motes/rivers or small wheat farms. I think it should still be limited amount of space, but it might be nice to have alittle more space to play around with. Also would allow me to worldbuild with it more :D. Though, as i know very little about this game, this might fly in the face of what this whole game is about. The limited space might be your indented vision for the game, and would ruin what you were going for. If that's so, then i completely understand. It's a game about building castles and having a nice relaxing time. I'm just a silly little fella who wants to build and even what i suggested, is strictly not needed. Im looking forward to when the game releases. I would love it to be free, but if it's not, im still buying it. Im very exited for this game and i would love to build my own castle :). See ya fellas soon and have a nice day.

I'd much prefer an abandoned village to one that constantly reminds me it's just a video game with all the restrictions of modern indie games. Janky people go away.

  • Beautiful, but feel a bit empty without any human being walking around or interacting with the building. I still get this game though. I like artistic and relaxing games like this. Can’t wait to play this on Steam Deck.

  • Does anyone else remember that one free-play mode in Stronghold where you can just mess around with the terrain and the castles? This reminds me a lot of that, but more relaxing and cute. I love it already! I want it! On a side-note, it would be cool if we could somehow change the texture packs and choose different castle styles from different cultures or time periods. Maybe the more you play, the more options you have. It could work.

    • I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING... ahem. Sorry for that. This could be a very nice way to make a chill dnd campain around. Especially with expanded build area. You could make a whole sprawling country side, with small villages and groves dotting the land. Interiors would probably be hard, but if done right, could allow you to make amazing places. Think of a castle in side a cave. Or even just the inside of the castle. It would be so fun :D

  • This is REARLY cute! I love it! I just wish that you could enable to see and edit the lenght/high values directly.. It would be easier to make symetrical towers, instead of just eyeballying it. The same goes to window placemente. It would be nice to be able to fix them to a certain angle, for exemple, 1 window every 90 degrees in the tower or something like that. I know it is gridless, but it would be nice to be able to enable a grid sometimes >.>

    • It would be nice to have an option to imput a direct value. Would make it easier to get things exactly right, but also still have the freedom to mold as you see fit.
