Listen to Former German General Harald Kujat at a public lecture in Germany how he destroys the false pro-war narrative of the neocons. This talk was held in German and is dubbed into English thanks to the brilliant work of Andreas Voss who makes these translations possible.

(Please support them. They are doing great work!)
Eurasien Gesellschaft: www.eurasien-gesellschaft.org
You are about to see a public lecture by retired General Harld Kujat, who served in the German Airforce and even was the chairman of the NATO Military Committee from 2002 to 2005. He has emerged in Germany as another outspoken critic of the way NATO and the Europeans are abusing Ukraine for the geopolitical benefit of the US. General Kujat is so outspoken that Wikipedia “knows” that he belongs to the inner circle of Vladimir Putin. Ha!
There are also a lot of Europeans who see behind the Propaganda and the veil of lies. Many thanks and a shout out to the German portal “Nachdenkseiten” for broadcasting this and to the “Eurasien Gesellschaft” for holding the event. Links to both in the description.

  • I am a Russian and it amuses me when Westerners speak about the so-called ethnic minority of Russians and ethnic Ukrainians in Ukraine. Only 17% of Ukrainians speak Ukrainian, and the rest speak Russian. By these terms , Ukrainians are a minority in Ukraine 100 years ago almost all of Ukraine WAS Russia. And people there considered of themselves Russian These 17% of Ukrainian speakers can be called ethnic Ukrainians the rest are ethnic Russians. But wether a person in Ukraine calls himself an ethnic Ukrainian or an ethnic Russian is the matter of the self identity, not the real ethnic grounds For people who invest so much into this war, The west doesn’t know and understand Ukraine and Russia at all. Which is horrifying

This demand was also made by Germany and France. So, the russians withdraw. Then came the claim of a massacre in Bucha done by the Russians. There are videos after the withdraw showing Azov commanders looking for people. A local politicians says in a telegram video people shall stay inside as a "clearing operation" is going on. Many killed in Bucha was local ethnic russians while Russia was blamed for it. Its seems planned that every attempt to make peace should be closed,-Germany and France seems to be a part of it.

Every now and then they let him speak on the radio (a miracle really) and he has always had a very realistic and reflective opinion about Ukraine. For many years I thought we Germans had learnt our lesson from history - and was proud of our Pacifico’s. I am shocked how quickly this went out of the window. Has it something to do that the generations that still have memories of warII or it’s immediate aftermath are dying out and all that’s left are dim vague memories? • I am almost certain that this accurate description of what is happening in the world today and what is happening in the Russia-Ukraine war is the best description I have ever heard. So thanks for this wonderful translation and thanks to the speaker for this objective narration. If I wanted to highlight the most important points, I would need to write a lot, but start by talking about America’s goal, which is to weaken Russia economically and militarily to devote itself to China, which it considers the real existential threat to America. Then the BRICS group developed and worked to expand its members. Touching on a very important point about Russia and Germany and the expansion of their trade and economic exchange, which may be the biggest threat to America. The point of ignoring the political solution and the discussions that took place in Istanbul between Ukraine and Russia, which were perhaps the last real opportunity to end the war with the lowest possible bill... Throughout the lecture, I was missing only one thing... which is mentioning economic figures for Europe's losses from the cessation of Russian gas, especially Germany... and in the same context, the losses of the German economy during the last two years... Finally... America, in the last three decades, is not only sinking... but is dragging Europe to the abyss militarily, economically, and politically.

While my relatives are ethnic Ukrainians from Chernivtsi in the west, I have spent considerable time in the southern and eastern regions, as well as along the Dnieper. In all those places Russian was far and away the predominant language. Not just in Crimea and the Donbas. • Nice to see someone that actually understands what's happening here. I'm Norwegian, and we had a relatively decent relationship with Russia until this war ruined it. The global landscape is shifting and has been for a long time, I for one do not think the US will remain the worlds leading super power for very long. And as a financially independent and outsider if the EU we are in a unique position to distance ourselves from the US and strengthen our ties with China and the others BRICKS nations. Which is what we should have been doing to ensure we still have a seat at the table when it turns, but instead this Ukraine thing has distracted everyone and driven the majority to double down on our NATO alliance. I fatal mistake in my opinion, one that won't be easily rectified. I still have hope my nation will come to it's senses and see this war for what it is, a strategic move by the US, using us as pawns in their play against China. So it's good to see there are some others that see it this way here in Europe. But we really need to start acting soon, because there won't be too long now, a few decades at most I would imagine. And people here really need to start looking at China and begin to realise that we as Norwegians have at least as much in common with them as we do with the US. We're nothing like the Americans even if the movies might make it seem like we do, and while we nothing like the Chinese either, we have a lot more in common with them than we might think once we start really looking instead of just listening to what the US is telling us about them. Anyway, I really hope our country to can find a better way to navigate this than insisting on going down with the sinking USA like we currently are.

    • @@tyskerbarn5171 Wrong! Say what you want about the Iranians, but when they labeled the US The Great Satan, they were absolutely correct. There is no greater evil on earth today, or even in the past since the very beginning than the US government. You must have not been paying attention to what the general was saying. He told you the whys and what the motives of the US government are. It went right over your head. Of course anyone who has been paying attention and watching intently over the years already knew these things for themselves. The US is bent on world conquest just like we saw with despotic governments throughout history in the past. All you had to do was look at the US "defense" expenditures which is now above $850 billion. Yeah, wrap your head around that figure. What was Russian defense spending prior to the war? Answer: about $50 billion. Got any critical thinking skills whatsoever? Might want to use them now. That measely figure automactically tells you Russia was not looking to invade anybody or expand territory because you cannot do it on a measely $50 billion...duh! They clearly just wanted to live in peace. But what does a $850 billion tell you? It screams the US is looking for world conquest is what it says. And btw, you can't blame China either because their defense spending was only about $250 billion at the start of the war. You spend more than twice as much as Russia and China combined on "defense." Hate to break it you but when you're doing that your real motive is not defense it's offense. World conquest at the expense of the American people. They have raped the US of it's wealth and you still are blind to it. Face the facts about your country. You are being lied to by daily by your wicked government and you are the bad guys.

  • It seems Russia initiated the special military operation not to occupy Ukraine territory but to show sense of seriousness in order to persuade Ukraine negotiated settlement namely Ukraine neutral status and autonomy for Russian speaking communities in the East. The two sides agreed peace deal in Turkey by March 2022 just one month after conflict but this backtracked aftee the West persuaded Ukraine not to sign the peace deal. Now Ukraine has lost 500k soldiers, country infrastructure destroyed.Russia gained more territory and will not stop until they capture Odyssey and Kharkov but also until Ukraine accept total defeat. Sadly no one will held Nato accountable for the mess it created.

  • Thank you General Harald Kujat, I couldn't agree with more, and that more people need to understand as you pointed out, that there is a history to a conflict, and that Putin didn't just decide at the breakfast table to an 'unprovoked' attack on Ukraine, as western governments and western media wants us to believe. I've personally followed the Russian-ukraine conflict since the coup took place in Kyiv, and I even went further back to get an understanding of it all, and I tried researching through reliable sources who weren't funded by someone who had skin in the game, including independent journalists who were actually on the ground there amongst the action, nit some western main stream journalist being led, like on a dog and pony show. I don't understand how people just react to something emotionally and believe it at face value (which is where the media plays you, on your emotions) but even though that might be your initial reaction, wouldn't you then say, hang on a moment, let me look into this deeper and fight out the truth to it, what is behind it. Thhanks again General for your insight, not only for that piece in particular, but the rest also, it was informative, with some new learning experiences for me👍

    • The translation was done into 8 languages by a programmer using AI and read by a synthesised voice. But the result was astonishingly good. My only gripe is that the transcription of the actual translation should have been used in the subtitles rather than relying on voice recognition... there were a number of mistakes concerning proper nouns (e.g. Harlan Ullman).

    • @@louisronan5903I know EXACTLY where you are coming from and agree fully. I view the advances of AI in translation (which is admittedly a natural area of predilection for AI) with a mixture of fascination and horror. It is not hard to see how many, many people, chiefly in the service sector, will be out of a job just as soon as they can be replaced to a more or less "acceptable" standard by AI. 🙂 The "human touch" is not valued widely enough for people to pay for it. Many people in fact require little more than just-good-enough translation, and in any case it seems to me that literacy is starting to be considered as an obsolete and irrelevant form of snobbery 🙂
