    • These mfs put up a biased video. Med played good strokes but what they have shown is equalising, compared to other videos where the winner is shown to be dominating!

    • Well said. Not sure what Felix was thinking trying to play Daniil at his own game. Felix has great play at the net so should have drawn him in more. As Nick always says, you gotta keep Daniil off his game and guessing or else it’s not gonna be close.

  • Medvedev is not the best mover or powerhouse at the ATP now, but surely he's one of the best counter-punchers. He sent back most of his enemy's shots.

    • he's actually an incredible mover for his height. His relative weaknesses are lack of serving variety and not generating enough forehand pace.

    • I think this is the only match he won in straights in this tournament. I wish him the best for the season and find his best serve as soon as possible. He can do far better than this.

  • I nominate FAA as the most annoying vocalizations during play. I avoid highlights as much as possible over it. Players on both tours have really taken it too far but he goes the extra step of deliberately altering the tone which exacerbates the annoyance.

    • Yep! He’s getting further and further away from ever winning a slam. I’m afraid if he does nothing to change his mindset in 5 years from now he’ll be completely done. Also all the positivity on his twitter after these losses, all the « reset and work on improvements » messages are getting annoying.
