    • @@haniotis3421Um no, I would never do that. And I did succumb to my inner demons and do it, the umpire should immediately stop the point and award the point to my opponent. The sport is called Tennis, not Dirty Tennis.

      @timolaf2798@timolaf27983 ай бұрын
    • @@timolaf2798Oh yeah, right. Pious person that you must be. Anyways, your issue is with the umpire, not tsitsipas. Why didn't umpire call hindrance? You people make such idiotic points. Did you even see the 3 hour long match? The battle it was? But you don't talk about Fritz's 10 minute long outside the court treatment between sets 3 and 4 to tend to some "blisters." Purely believable--he couldn't do that on court. Somehow you forget about that.

      @haniotis3421@haniotis34213 ай бұрын
    • @@haniotis3421 Yes, ultimately my issue is with the umpire. Players are all very different, and there will be some who break the rules. I'm pretty sure you understood my point, that I think that type of player behavior should be against the rules, and when they do it, it should be called as an infraction. Of course I watched the entire match live. I was only commenting on Tsitsipas motions, that was the only topic of this thread. I would hope I wouldn't do that, but again, if I did, I think it should be against the rules.

    @MrBdiddypop@MrBdiddypop3 ай бұрын
    • They choose not to go back to the old rules, so digest it. His father is allowed to instruct him as he wants when the point is over. Not sure why Tsitsipas would be your least favorite. The top Greek tennis player of all time--he lived in a country that didn't have the best resources--facilities...his extended family helped financially to give him the best future. His dad as well as a few other coaches helped him become who he is as a tennis player. Fritz easily had the resources and help in the mighty US, and until yesterday, he was unable to really do much in a grand slam event. But Stefanos has already made grand slam finals. Fritz hasn't made a grand slam semifinal yet. Have some f*cking respect.

  • Anyone else notice that Tsitsipas changed his serve from platform to pinpoint stance?

  • AS A NOLE'S SUPPORTER I WOULD PREFER TO PLAY TSITSIPAS! FRITZ IS TOO STRONG NOW! MORE PROBLEMS FOR NOLE WHO NOT ONLY HAS SOME HEALTH ISSUES BUT AS HE ACKNOLEDGED, IS NOT IN FORM.

  • Congrats Taylor!🇺🇸🇺🇸 Tsitsipas seems to have hit his ceiling! I thought he would have come back from the off season with a better backhand that is his liability! His Major quest may be over now!

  • match point Stefanos waving his arms to make Taylor miss was a douche move. At least go down with honor.

  • Amazing how Tsitsipas essentially fights with one hand tied to his back... He can consistently beat opponents outside of the top 20, but struggles mightily against anyone in the top 10.

  • So proud of Fritz. Took a nice, luxurious bath in some cold-pressed Olive Oil. Absolutely dominated on serve & reminded everyone of his massive groundstrokes. After dropping the 2nd set, Fritz was imperious throughout & 3rd & 4th, practically livid Feta pushed him to 4 sets. Paul & Shelton, who were run down in their 5 setters, could learn from Fritz how to better time their breaks. After clinching the 3rd set, Fritz took plenty of time to collect himself, receive treatment, etc. off court & do all that he needed to be fresh for the 4th set & ensure it was the last one. The way Ruby & Fritz shut down the last two set of their matches was glorious. The guy with the bigger weapons won out.

  • He's playing really well right now, hopefully he beats Novak or at least gives him a better fight than he did at the US open
