Such Good Info
Good video!!!
Very informative and interesting!! Thanks
hello! help me please. I'm in big trouble. I started to climb completely covering the sofas to the camper. what to do?
Denatured alcohol is not at all the same as rubbing alcohol. Denatured alcohol is ethanol (sometimes with additional compounds to deter consumption) and "rubbing" is isopropyl alcohol. Depending on use, are sometimes interchangeable, which I suppose is the case with cleaning leather.
@@RubnRestore that’s correct. Isopropyl is supplied at 70% typically and in 91% concentrations. Denatured is full strength concentration and readily available as well. I was just clarifying that it is a different type of alcohol for the viewers.
What makes acetone a last resort? When is it ok or not ok to use on leather?
@@RubnRestore Thank you for this information and answer! How can one know if leather has a urethane finish?
@@RubnRestore Ok, that's a good tip. Now do you have any idea whether most modern car leather (post 1990 or so) is acrylic or urethane dyed? Is there a solvent that reacts with one but not the other?
@@RubnRestore I'll check it out, thank you!
