I literally screamed “nooo” when you cut into your couch. That’s the kind of self confidence I want some day.
Lol right
Me too!!! 😱😱😱
This woman cut her leather couch to show how to repair it. Who could possibly click dislike to that!?!
Isnˋt her sofa😂
Thank you for sacrificing your couch in the name of knowledge.
My jaw literally dropped at the beginning. Then again at the end. Nicely done!!!
Just ripped our leather sofa moving it and now I have to tell my wife. She will be heart sick and I already am till I watched your video. Sincerely, thank you so very much.
This was an unbelievable video. So well spoken; clear and to the point. Can't really get over how you actually cut your own couch for the demo but when you REALLY know what you're doing.. Super fantastic. A++++ The internet/youtube needs more how-tos like this!
What a great video! I didn't see such a realistic and convincing instructional video in KZhead all these years.
Thank you i have learnt to do perfect the sofa holes thank you😀
these types of guys are brilliant.
This video is one of the best i saw so far, no fake repair , very simple, well explained and demonstrated. No super crazy video tech and special effect. Thank-you. I hope today you are doing fine in this coronavirus crisis , please stay safe.
Couldn’t find the bottle of Rub and Restore anywhere. I’ve wasted so much time looking for this product and then finally found their website only to not find the bottle she’s using. This is a small business trying to sell a kit. If a single bottle of black run and Restore exists, I’d buy it. Instead, I’ve wasted a load of time because she wasn’t honest in the video about the product.
I use the same technique but instead of a toothpick I use a popsicle stick for the glue. You can trim them down if they are too wide. Less messy than a toothpick. I still can't believe she sliced the sofa just to show the repair technique!
Her presentation is perfect, her great looks makes it even better.
Some good ideas for the tiny hole I have in my leather car seat. This was one of the better videos on seat repairs. Thanks for posting it.
My heart literally jumped out of my mouth when I saw that woman cut into her couch😲
Thank you so much, just finished moving and caused some damage to our couch. Almost paid someone, dodged that bullet.
By far, the easiest and best explained tutorial of all in this category. I watched the top 8 of these type repairs, and some of the rest are ok, but this is top. In the video, she didn't name the Super Glue brand, but I think it was Loctite Super Gel Glue, which I have used before and is a great product to complement the Loctite Vinyl, Fabric, and Plastic Glue.
Wow! Great video. This realllllly works. I had a 3 inch rip with some jagged edges...not as clean as the one here. The substrate is key. I started to get kit on Amazon without substrate until I found this vid. Using denim patch as recommended here adds another level of foundation since there is an adhesive on the back of the patch ( you won't be using it, but it def adds to firmness of fabric). Wish I could post before & after pictures pictures. This saved my couch! thanks!
Wow. Amazing results. Thanks for sharing.
I love instructional videos that show "real" things, like mistakes and flaws I learned much more from this than from "see, everything is perfect and it is so easy (not)"
best ever explanation.
Very well done video - clear, concise and helpful!
You are good Lesandra. Informative, fast, to the point and lovely presentation. Thx
Beautiful job . Thx for the great video
Brilliant - thanks so much for sharing. My son has more of a hole in his couch and I'm looking to find ways to repair it. Think I need a patch of some kind.
Thank you so very much. Greatly appreciated.
I’m so excited to try this! I’ve been looking for some way to fix my leather chair that a well meaning friend tore a pretty significant hole in helping me move last year. I’m a single mom so I tend to diy all my stuff but this one was stumping me so it’s just had a blanket thrown over it lol. I can’t wait to fix it! Thank you so much for a fix that looks like I can do easily!
Tremendous! worked like a charm. THANKS!
Good technique. Thank you.
Thank You very much, this is an awesome instructional video. The guys here watching the video were very impressed with your technical detail and know how!! 10/10
Great video....very informative. to the point. finished look was great too.
That almost made me sick seeing her cut into that beautiful sofa, lol! Great tutorial--thanks!
"We need a tear. (Cuts)" ARE YOU INSANE. AHHHHHHHH
omg haha I lost my shit too
msrdo20 my heart :)
She could have made the tear in an inconspicuous area! duuuuuh!
Omg for real, I was screaming!
I actually screamed out loud noooooooo
This was great. I needed feedback for cat scratches on multiple areas of my large sectional sofa. Thank you very much.
Excellent creativity and believe many will come up ideas based on this
Wow that's pretty good!!
wow..amazing work lady!
OUTSTANDING video. Thank you!
This is pretty awesome. Seriously. I appreciate this, it looked like it was magic or something. I thought there was no going back once leather tore.
Was a bit freaked out by that initial cut, haha (maybe the shock value is part of the point?) but in any case, thanks for the very clear explanations and tips. Came across this video when this quarantine gave me too much time to look at our leather couch, whose tears my roommate had covered with duct tape. I found the same glue at a local Ace and so far have at least got all the tears patched with denim scraps. Still need to do the filling and coloring steps as seen in your other video, but at least it definitely already looks much better than the duct tape "fix". Thanks.
Amazing tutorial! Thanks for sharing!
Super job! Super Glue is great and nice and brittle too
I know this is old but I'm hoping you still receive my question.....I have a l-shaped couch and the stitching is coming undone where people sit the most and need to repair it asap...I've seen that need to use a curved needle but I want it to look like it did before it came undone, the stiches underneath if that makes sense. Have any suggestions? Also on top where the dogs are deciding to jump off it looks like the leather is starting to peel in places, is there a way to fix that? Thank you hopefully I hear back from you.
Thanks for the great informative video. You just saved me hundreds
WOW! Solved my problem 1-2-3.
This is already so informative and helpful! Currently fixing a leather couch and I was wondering if I could use E600 as I already have it instead of the vinyl glue
If my vinyl is torn but not all the way through, do I cut it to stick patch in?
good job lady
Excellent video. Thank you.
Can I use this super glue + sandpaper technique to fix kinda minor cracks in PU leather sneakers?
hi there! would you recommend the sandpaper technique on lambskin leather? thanks
I will be doing this!
Beautiful!
I have a red leather chair. How do I match up to blend my leather after sanding?
As soon as you looked at the camera and cut the leather.... I instantly feel IN LOVE.....
She is so attractive
That’s great! Love your tutorial too!!!! 🎚🙏🏼❤️
i try that your idea works thanks.
Awesome, I'm going to try this!
Great vídeo thank you!
I’m hoping you can help me out with a leather chair that has damage from cat nail holes? Please and thank you!
Will that work on leather auto upholstery too?
Wow! This lady is a badass
Excellent Video on the car repair for leather
good stuff!
wow.. thats a great vid.. thanks for sharing your experties. how about a video showing how to repair 3 seater recliner sofa foam, my sofa has one of the side gone flat and has no access to the foam as all stitched up... no zip etc
Nice job. Thank you.
Beautiful woman with beautiful work. Great thanks. 👍👍👍
really a nice job
My couch cushions are not removable and I have a small section along the seam that is missing tiny patches of leather, but the under fabric is exposed and in tact. Would you recommend i follow your instructions as mentioned to another person below ("this can be better concealed by cutting through the mesh, subpatching, and gluing everything down before filling any lines or tears. If the tear is ragged, and the vinyl is separated from the mesh, trim those areas off completely (or glue each one down) before filling the tear with a compound."). Dp you have a video on this method? Thanks :)
I just bought rub and restore to do a color change on my leather sofa. The problem is I was doing a glass project and set down a piece of glass on the cushion. It slice through the leather a very clean slice. I tried to repair it with some product not yours and it has come out horribly. What should I do. Should I cut the whole repair out and patch it with your product? Should I try to remove the product I used to repair the slice? The slice was originally about 12 inches long. Now that I tried to repair it it about 12 x 1 inch. Advice please
this makes me wonder, how many holes that sofa has
Great job. Thanks
Looks superb.
I used the glue from a puncture repair kit. The man from the cobblers said it is the best glue for leather. I've not done the next stage with the super glue as its aged leather and looks natural as is.
I have a tear similar to that in my in the top middle of my 2014 subaru outback passenger seat will this method work?
Good video keep up the good work
Keep up tearing and repairing :DDD
Chingy Brejin
amazing fixed my driver seat in my caddy awesome video 👍👍👍👍
Awesome video!! Thanks for sharing, I'm going to take on a small tear in the center console of our car...hope it works for me!!
im curious do you mix pigments to get the correct color of dye?
Will this method work on pleather?
I just appropriated a Djembes drum and It has a small (non-penetrating) tear in the middle of the cow skin head. What is the best way to repair this partial tear? Thanks.
I´m looking to repair my ownr car seat that has a tear and I´ve been watching youtube videos and the methods change quite a bit from transparent sealant to glue to leather fillers etc, I´m thinking of using a mix of stuff I´ve seen and I´m thinking doing it almost like in this video but instead of filling with glue I´ll be using a leather filler, for people commenting on the glue, any torsion resistent glue that works with leather will do according to my youtube research
Looks easy enough
hello what is the name of the glue brand? Hard to get it from just watching it. thank you!!!
That’s a nice sofa!!!!!
Hi, can you please tell me if I can use the same technique for a peeling vinyl sofa? it does not have a tear the color its peeling off. Thanks in advance.
do you use crazy glue in between the cut? What's the brand? What's the brand of paint do you use? Thanks.
Pretty impressive. Curious, how would one repair something at the inseam?
great vid awesome info
Excellent video. Thanks.
This was a really really great video perfect 👌

Muito grato pela partilha, parabéns pelo vídeo. E você é muito linda 😍.
What's glue name
That was great! My son brought home a new black and white leather couch this evening and had to wrestle it up two flights of stairs to his apartment. He ended up with two very small tears in the black leather (on the back side) along with some scratches. What's best to use to cover up the scratches? Thanks.
Hi, thank you for sharing. I've looked through your vids on repair, but I haven't noticed any repairs for big rips a dog created. Is it possible you can do a video for this? Why I'm asking? Because my dog did it and I might be in deep shit. He did it to the triple seat sofa and the single seater.
I love this! I know yow cut your couch to show us how to repair cuts, it was shocking and hilarious! I smiled through the entire video. Thumbs up!
