For real. Baboons have insanely strong jaws and they have backup troops. If anything goes wrong the poor pooches will get shredded to bitts

@@100Gambit In painted dog society, if a member is attacked, they don't run. They counter attack even more furiously, because not it's not about food, but to protect a valuable member. Check out the videos with lions. At first, they scramble but when one is attacked, they get braver.
@@100Gambitwilddogs won't run from alpha baboon
That baboon could have easily ran and climbed a tree, if it was truly afraid. Looked to me like he just wanted to get his hands on just one of wild dogs to show he's not to be messed with.
Baboon is not scared of wild dogs
Absolutely
A baboon does not fear an animal that shows fear. If those were domestic dogs example the fearless pitbulls, then you would have seen the true reaction of baboon showing fear. I have plenty of baboons coming to my house but if my 3 dogs spots one lone big male, they usually chases him away even if he tries to fight back. My dogs aren't even large, they are just ordinary average sized dogs
He was definitely scared. Trying to make a run for it would've been the last thing he'd do, because although they're endurance runners, the only large african savannah animals that can beat painted dogs in a sprint are lions, cheetahs and a select few prey species. If he had run, he'd get eaten.

Great sightings all. That Baboon was pretty laid back about it all, happy to see the dogs gave up in the end...... Leopard Mama and gorgeous little cub, such a beautiful sighting. Thanks for uploading guys.
It's a pleasure! Thanks for watching :)
I think with the size of the baboon it wasn't worth risking a bite from those massive teeth.
@@Latestsightings This is a great video.👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿 Truth be told those wild dogs didn't really wanna tangle with the baboon. Of all the African primates in my opinion the baboon is definitely pound for pound one of the baddest and toughest. They've been known to even give leopards and hyenas a run for their money.
Baboon was laid back because he knows he is way stronger and way more agile than the dogs and they know it too thats why they are very cautious and apprehensive to attack.
@@realtalk7832 They could tear the baboon to shreds if they wanted. I guess monkeys aren't a prey item for the dogs.
The bird is riding on the back of the buffalo like a carnival ride and loving every minute of it.
Salute the baboon .👍👍👌👌 Absolute confidence. ! 👏👏consider that These wild dogs in large group are ferocious and can easily tear apart any prey ! In a matter of minutes. .though One deterrent factor could be the big baboon gang nearby and a quick call (if things get serious )can bring them all to the scene of action. !
Them dogs didn’t want any problems w that baboon
Wow. That baboon... I mean 20:1 and they didn't even try to take the baboon down, if they were 20 dogs against one hyena they would've been relentless and the hyena would've been in real trouble. That says A LOT about how badass the baboons are and that wasn't even a big alpha. Mind blown.
It's because they don't hunt baboon's . It's merely a display of dominance. Testing the waters . If that baboon attacked any of the dogs , I'm sure they'd have ripped him to bits . Hence the the apprehensive behaviour from baboon itself . It didn't charge in , nor did it display teeth/yawning behaviour either . It was probably relying on Cool demeanor. Not running either as it would've started the instinctive chase and kill mode from the wild dogs . I agree it's strange they have a different approach with Hyena tho .
@@HooDie-Trench-GoTh2022 exactly, they typically don't have baboons on their menu or set of enemies.
@@HooDie-Trench-GoTh2022 Yeah because baboons don't run and accept defeat, they fight back and cause serious injury. They wouldn't risk attacking a baboon for that exact reason.

The scene of baboon and wild dogs shows that the baboon is much smarter than the wild dogs. The baboon was so relaxed and seemed to be just teasing them.
Actually, hyenas and wild dogs smarter than lions and baboon

I would recommend that you upload every video separately, don't put multiple videos in one video. Even if it's shorter than 1 minute video, people nowadays prefer shorter videos.
Not really shorter, more like focus on one, maybe two different animals in video.
Instead of running up the tree but is just busy trying to show dominance
I see video 6 wild dogs drive away a male leopard from the prey he ran for his life on a tree and now 20 wild dogs are afraid of a single baboon?
Canines on the male baboons will inflict mortal injury .not worth it
They were not that interested.
Not really afraid. More like cautious because the Baboon can wound them if they are reckless. Eventually they deemed it not worth it, it's not really a prey anyway. Did those 6 wild dogs killed that male leopard? Yeah, didn't think so...

That buffalo made every right move it possibly could of to get out of that situation.
Just listen to the bird life in the baboon clip, amazing.
Since pet shelters don't serve baboons, he decided to get a dog from the wild.
What pride and pack? I'm surprised the dogs and baboon were so quiet, especially the baboon.
Great sightings!!❤❤
Is the wild dog small or is the baboon big?
Baboons on average are slightly larger at 30-90lbs vs 25-80lbs for painted dogs.
Fabulous as usual.
It seems wild dogs try this dance routine with every animal they come across
My guess is that wild dogs don't find baboon all that tasty.
Looks like the wild dogs know that baboons are just as dangerous as they are, as they have razor sharp fangs, plus the baboon's troop was just down the road, had the dogs actually tried to bite the baboon, it would obviously call its troop and the dogs would have a terrible day.
And no one(dogs) wanted to be the first that baboon would bite...
That's right. They knew angry Baboon would bite at their ass.
Dogs were just playing. If they wanted him dead, he would be dead. They attack with numbers, speed, and precision and from the rear. The baboons canines would most likely never touch a single dog before it was over.

The baboon should make it easier, by pretending to pee by the tree & climb up the tree & see who'll follow. These mad dogs!!!
That baboon would probably taken out half the wild dogs.
The pride could've easily got a fest, it's a lone buffalo. The baboon probably didn't realize the kinda danger he's in, was so relaxed. The lion cub and leopard cubs should hook up, they're too cute.
They probably were full and weren't motivated enough.

@@NannupTiger Yeah of course but I also think it would've turned ugly quickly if one of the wild dogs attacked.
@@samndidi7772 It definitely would have turned ugly, for the baboon and for the dogs. The baboon troop was just down the road, so if the dogs were to attack the lone baboon, he'd definitely call his troop for backup and they'd come running to fight the dogs.

The wild dogs are one of the most successful hunters of all predators in Africa. Spotted hyenas and wild dogs top the list.
I am more curious to know what happened to the buffalo?
1:21 This clip makes me think of a video in which a pack of African wild dogs, which was led by Black Tip, attacked a group of baboons only to capture a baby. And one of the wild dogs got eaten by a crocodile. I just would like to know what became of her pack after her death.
They didn’t do too well. Blacktip was confirmed dead in the April of 2019. Her pack has experienced a lot of inbreeding (which is very rare for painted wolves). Blacktip’s mate, Jiani, mated with one of her daughters named Violet. Jiani was eventually killed by lions. Now, Blacktip’s pack is led by Violet. It’s now about 8 painted wolves strong with only a few pups.
Last but not least title perfectly suitable #LION 🤣🤣🤣🦁🕵♀️🕵♀️

Wild dogs don't prefer baboons. They don't consider them as prey. But to be honest, if they decide to attack, the baboon will be finished in less than 5 minutes
If that happens what you have to do first don't panik and take it easy that's what the baboon teaches us !!!
Dogs thinks it is lion’s brother.
How did they pace those roads with so many dangerous animals around?
Time to climb that tree.
It was not what I expected.
