Every once in a while, in the world of sports, we witness the arrival of an exceptional figure that literally shakes up the world. Sometimes, this shakeup is sparked by sheer skill, other times by a magnetic personality, but oftentimes by a combination of both.
In this video, we turn the spotlight on one of those extraordinary athletes: Khabib Nurmagomedov, widely considered one of the all-time greats in MMA.
Khabib stands as the epitome of dominance in MMA, with a record of 29-0. Each bout saw him emerge with barely a scratch on his face.
How does one maintain such dominance among the elite of the elite in the largest MMA organization in the world? What is the formula to this unparalleled dominance?

  • In contrast, how do you explain the success of someone like Adesanya who only started training at 18, drinks, smokes weed, and in his own words, doesn't even train as hard as some of his team mates? Simply raw talent?

    • This video guy takes himself too serious. He doesn’t know shit about real MMA. He’s just a story teller and makes mini docs with literally no content of his own. It’s not that hard to write a tell all about someone famous and end up saying absolutely nothing. Isreals strength comes from his frame and build. Only people his size in the division can give him problems like Pereira and Jan did. Also he has one of the most powerful left hooks in the world.right next to Alex. Watch his fight with costa. Khabib is so successful in the UFC division not because of his incredible mindset or personality or anything but because he’s a a weight bully who walks around at 190 and is damn near dying on weight day collapsing at 150 while being weighted. He is now over 200 pounds. He also picked and chose his opponents for his style. The reason certain people are successful or undefeated is because they set up favorable matchups where their style is almost always victory such as a grappler taking down a striker and submitting and beating them. That’s a favorable Matchup for the grappler they always have the advantage. The impressive part is watching the striker beat the grappler.like yan vs Sean. Or Alex vs Jan

    • Adesanya has like 5 title defenses to Khabibs 3 and his two losses were to light heavyweights. Anyhow, that's besides the point, they are both dominant champions, the top 1% of all fighters, even if Khabib is arguably slightly more dominant, it still seems that Khabib had to work twice as hard to reach the same niveau. Imagine Adesanya trained as rigorously as Khabib for as long he did, maybe he'd destroy entire armies... Although Adesanya also claims that starting late is good as he's less burnt out...

  • Tony "El Cucuy" Ferguson was probably the best match-up for Khabib. Yall can say "well, Justin destroyed Tony, and Khabib destroyed Justin". Anything can happen in MMA, that is why we watch it. Khabib could've gotten submitted by Dustin or knocked out by Conor. Tony was a nightmare on the feet, and a demon in the ground game. Khabib was no where near a prime Tony. That is why the fight was scheduled 4 + times where Tony got injured and Khabib pulled out 3 times. Tony even trained for Khabib eventhough he wasn't going to fight him. He only trained wrestling etc. And when he was offered to fight Justin. He said "Yes". Something Khabib would never say yes to. And Tony decided to stand and bang with Gaethje. Something a badass would do. And he almost KO'd him but Gaethje was saved by the bell. Since that, I can agree Tony won't be able to beat any ranked opponent.

    • @@finismalorum9746But Jones didn't walk around at 205lbs, that was just him cutting down to it, he'd clearly walk 220lbs and over. Plus, Jones dimensions are ridiculous to Khabib's, Khabib has a 14.5 reach disadvantage, 6 inches in height discrepancy and let's say Jones walking weight at 205lbs was 220lbs, that's still 20lbs more than Khabib.

    • Weight is a factor that "dictates" how u fight. Meaning ur weight determines ur physical attributes and these attributes are the foundation of a fighters style. Lower weight fighters are typically quicker with fast reactions and much more technical e.g DJ while heavier weight fighters tend to be less technical, slower and more oriented towards freakish strength and power. E.g wilder, ngannou
