  • My dad, who introduced me to Pink Floyd, drove 8 hours across Poland, and then 8 hours back immediately after the concert, just so we could experience this concert live together. i was 15 then, and now almost 15 years later, I still love this music, perhaps more than ever. My appreciation for it only gets deeper as I age.

He is truly one of the most beloved musical composer, performers of the past 50 plus years. To reach so many in a most personal way, and to bring such joy. I can only imagine the satisfaction he must feel, for making this world a more connected place, than where he found it. Bravo! Thank you and peace.

  • For me this really is the last Pink FLOYD concert. You have David and Richard plus Guy Pratt who has remained the bass player of Pink Floyd since Roger left. All that is lacking is Nick. You have Dick Parry long time FLOYD collaborator. Plus some of the best musicians around - not least Phil Manzanera ex lead guitarist of Roxy Music. Personally I think this concert contains some really definitive renditions of the PF back catalogue. This particular posting is a little distorted - I’ve heard better copies. I’ve also always regretted that the orchestra is a tiny bit higher in the mix. Clearly a job for Stephen Wilson to do a Dolby atmos mix! Echoes here is the best ever - poignant yes but two old friends playing off each other so exquisitely. I introduced PF possibly one of the first times it was played live at the Lads Club Norwich. They played the ‘world premiere’ of MEDDLE live a few days later on radio one! Still the mist soulful player on the planet. I think it is right to say that Floyd is different because as Stephen Wilson pointed out in his interview with Rick Beato you get MANY genres not just one. In this concert you have rock, blues, music concrete, jazz, psychedelic, acid, classical, soul - you name it - even David blowing the sax! Just the consummate band of the years. Magnificent! ❤

  • Perfection on his string bends amazing vibrato, phrasing, timing, riffs... some of his solos just make the hair on your arms / neck stand up. Master innovator. Whenever he performs, you think that the guitar is his third hand! His music is not heard but experienced.

With the backing of the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, it adds another dimension to the already great Gilmour/Wright and Co. music. I get teary eyed when I see R.
