I work at Sainsbury’s and have four night shifts a week. And I realized today that I listened to Luke’s podcasts for 30 hours last week during my boring work. Each time I understand more and more. It’s an amazing discovery for me. I am proud of myself and thank you so much for your work. I have been learning English for a year and sometimes I lose motivation, but every time you inspire me. I am from Ukraine and we are having a very difficult time now. But you make me smile and always remind me to keep going. My big dream is to get a degree in the UK and when I graduate I will definitely mention your name))
I'm from Ukraine too, and this podcast really helps me learn better
I love your motivation, can we just keep practicing English Time to time? If yes let Me know 🙏
Your comment made me feel motivated. It is happy to see our English progress, right? As Luke said, just keep going. Our English couldn't be improved just because we give up. But I know you stay strong and keep practicing English. Wish peace in your country soon and you will achieve your goals in English and study abroad. Wish all English learners all the best 💜
@@youssefmaarir9416 I really need someone to practice speaking English and I am always happy to talk. How can I contact you?
Happy New Year , Luke !!! Thanks a lot to motivate me to improve my learning !!
I am from Panama, I stared listening to Luke's Podcast because I was in a deep depression after I got used, manipulated and rejected by a man whom I thought was the love of my life. To be honest, Luke has made me feel less pain with those podcasts and I stared to take more seriously english. In the past, I found it very hard to understand british accent, but now it is easier. Now, my goal is to improve my grammar and I am working on it while I also improve my listesting. Thanks Luke, not just because you are teaching a lot, but because you have been part of my process of healing my heart, even if you don't know it. God bless you.
Wow, thats amazing. I am sure you are now a much stronger person than before. Thank you for opening up about your experience.
Hi Luke!! I' m Montse, a retired English teacher. I' m from San Leonardo, a little village in the province of Soria. Thank you so much for your inspiring and valuable work!!!
For a very long time, I used to learn English through reading. Then I got a smartphone and listened to a great variety of topics. I had the chance to meet an English lady wishing to learn my own language, so we are chatting on the phone half English, half French and we only correct our mistakes in the end not to hinder the flow. It gave me such confidence that now I'm learning Italian and German. It was a long journey but every path had its reward. I wish all the best to you, your loved ones and everybody out there🎉
LUKE! I’m Linda and I’m from Québec City ,Canada. I discovered you about two months ago. I am a retired teacher (elementary school) and I love the way you teach. Your prononciation is very clear. I would like to be your student in real life! (HAHA!) I Hope to find someone like you to talk with.Thank you so much! HAPPY New Year!

Hello Luke. I wish you all the best for 2024.One of my Cambly's teachers told me "May I give you an advice " I replied " Yes , you may..! Listening to LEP you should improve you English level because his teaching is amazing and the better you are at listening, the better you are at having a conversation. So I know I'm going to spend a very interesting year with Luke's English podcast! Thanks a bunch!
Tons of thanks to whatever God put you in my road.
It hasn't been right without having Luke's new English podcast recently. Welcome back to us learners
How funny ! Thanks for sharing your great sense of humour ! (English humour for sure ;-) !! An innovative idea to combine English learning with have fun ! Love it !
I’m from Spain. I’ve study English since 2019 at Official Language School in my town to get b2 English certificate. In this course, I have a great English teacher because his pedagogical methods encourage us to improve our different skills; however, he is very demanding too. He puts a lot of effort into grammar and pronunciation. I recognise that it’s important to adopt positive mental attitudes, because studying English is a large journey, although it’s sometimes difficult. In spite of this, I’ve done some significant progress since I’ve started to study English, especially in my listening skills. When I started listening to podcast during the COVID Pandemic, it was difficult to understand the contents of episodes. Nowadays I can listen to them more easily than in the past. I know that one of my biggest difficulties is my speaking, but I understand that I need to improve my grammar, and my reading and writing skills. For this reason, I've to start new habits. Firstly, I usually listen several podcast just like you. My proposal is to write feed-back once a week. Secondly, to improve my speaking, my classmates and I are going to start an English meetup. I’ve also started to talk myself out loud. On the other side, my English teacher has recommended us to listen BBC's 6 Minute English. And after listening, I want to repeat out loud too Finally, to improve my reading skills I’m going to try to read English book 10 minutes a day. I really enjoy when you telling us stories of your daily routine, for instance I loved the episode on another podcast called “Into the story” when you told your experience about your “mission in Paris”. Thank you very much for your effort and work Best wishes from Spain.
Luke,. I'm grateful for your videos and podcasts. Those are my company in my way work and during workout. I'm improving my English. Thanks ❤
Hi Luke, I've been listening to you since 2019 (through podcast), btw I really loved your old App. Yes😅, you did mention a couple of times that you had lived in Japan😄. I love your rambling episodes, particularly very long episodes! I also like small talk at the beginning of them and your lovely songs at the end of some of them. Thanks for your work! One of your ninja-LEPsters
Dear Luke I have been listening to you for almost 5 years, your podcasts have helped me to improve my British accent. As an Iranian English learner having the right English accent wasn't an easy deal for me, however hard work pays eventually I really appreciate your hard work ♥️😍🙏🏻
Hi Luke, happy new year for you and your family. I am Alessandra from Brazil. I am a ninja and didn’t become a skeleton after listening this podcast, which was amazing. On the contrary, it motivated me to write to you for the first time since I’ve started to listen to you in 2018 or 2019. After discovering you I listened to many of the old episodes, but, unfortunately, I haven’t listened all of them, yet. Nowadays, I am following you on the KZhead, although, I usually just listen and not watch. This one was an exception. I really enjoy hearing your stories even the rambling episodes, which seems to connect more you and your audience. I loved the episode about the birth of your son and many others, such as that about the new Beatles’ song. Your tips are great and this year I want to use, at least, some of them. I am trying to overcome the intermediate plateau and your efforts to learn French are a source of inspiration for me. Your pronunciation is great and I dare say that I can understand around 90% of what you say. I want to improve my write and pronunciation skills, so I need to practice more. Now, I am going to apply for the Celta course in my country, because I want to become an English teacher here. Many of your episodes about learning process with different guests inspired me and also the episodes that explain this kind of stuff. Anyway, thank you for this lovely podcast and for being a human being so cool. Sometimes, I felt as if you were a close and funny friend of mine. Once again, I wish you a great year full of health, peace, love and prosperity. By the way, the top of your son’s head is beautiful. 😊
Hi Luke!, it's lovely to see you with your baby boy, I melted!. I'm grateful for having found you because without knowing you have helped me during my plateau path. My positive experience is that I joined to a conversation club and I could speak in front of other spite of my fears, so thank you because you definetely are part of this. Another achivement is that I could finish the whole episode and I'm not a skeleton!
Luke, I love your podcast madly ! I wish your ( big) family all the Best in 2024! Thank you!
I’m definitely not a skeleton Luke 😄I love your podcasts, they’re informative and entertaining too. It's a great idea providing transcripts, which can be extremely helpful for us. I appreciate your work and I am very grateful. 🤗Greetings from Hungary 🖐
Hi Luke! I'm Claudia and this is the first time I listen to one of your podcasts and I want to thank you for the time you dedicate to this. I'm Sicilian and thanks to podcasts like yours, online group lessons, and reading, I'm significantly improving my English. This morning, while searching on Spotify for something to listen to, I found your podcast and while listening to it, I discovered that it's also on KZhead! So I went to KZhead and subscribed. You are very clear in your presentation and I find your arguments and advice very interesting. From now on, you have a new listener!! Thanks Claudia :)
I'm Spanish and this year my aim is to improve my English knowledge by listening one of your podcasts a day. I had a hip surgery 6 weeks ago and the doctor told me to walk for at least one hour a day and while I'm walking I'm also improving my listening skills. I study half an hour as well (at the present time I'm studying a book focused on expressions and another one related to direct translations). I hope to make a breakthrough in my English and leave behind the plateau. I'm a ninja but I'll try to write more often😅 Thank you for your podcasts, Luke. I'm living an idylic relationship with your language again thanks to you😊
The first podcast I listened from begining to the end! It was such a long time, so it's great achievement for me. Thank you Luke, and happy new year!
Oh it's amazing to hear you speaking french especially since i'm learning english from you so things turned around😂 and i felt like you're a normal human being cos for me you're a god in matters of english
I'm one of your episode lovers but especially this episode caught my heart😊 Your way of holding your smart baby reminded me of my old time. I worked hard with my baby. I can admit my effort now. Thank you for providing the natural way of a human being.

Hello!
Hi Luke, I'm pleased to listen to you, I've been following you since 2022 and around an amount of 70 episodes. Sorry to say I'm not only listen to your podcast but I try different types of ressources materials . I like your podcast and in general I listen to your podcast during my walk sessions. Hopefully for me I understand you quite easily and I couldn't go to the Zenith last week-end to see you on stage but I'll catch you later maybe. Thanks for all of that and I'm going to continue to listen to you in 2024 (because I'm not a skeleton ), speak as much as I can and put everything in english in my life.
Hello ,Luke Isabell from Korea. First time in New Year so I would say Happy New Year!! Last November I got to know your podcast video n so happy with the contents you dealt with. I perfer British accent to the English accent that I used to learn in school days. Long ago I've been in London for a while n had hard trouble listening to British accents but I noticed it was much attractive . Anyway like me for a non native speaker of English ,learning other languages especially spoken with various accents is like copycat . So I am trying to get used to your English pronunciation(RP) by listening to it whenever I have time. Thank you again.
Hey Luke, when you talked about the intermediate plateau and advised that always some skills are being develop, it reminds me the Chinese bamboo tree motivational story. Thanks a lot!!!
Exactly! That would be a good story for the podcast 👍
Luke, Happy New Year to you and your family! (Better late than never 😅) 28:14 You are great! I'm from Kursk, from Russia. I accidentally came across your fantastic podcasts not long ago a now I' your greatful listener. I used to be a teacher of English, but now I'm in retirement, as I'm 73. But I love English so much!!! I listen to your podcasts on You Tube whenever I have time. Thanks a lot for your amazing work! You are the best teacher I've ever met ❤❤❤

Hi Teacher Luke, I am not a skeleton, haha. You know, after listening to your podcast, it feels like my mind is a space and your words are moving, floating inside it. You are getting better and better at teaching English. You are a great son, husband, father, a great teacher, and a great human being. Thanks, and have a great year ahead! ✨️
Thank you, dear Luke.
You are the best teacher ever. I love your videos and learn too much from them. 💐
Hi Lukes, I'm a survivor of your podcasts 😁. I found it very funny when you commented on this in the middle of this podcast. Your podcasts help me a lot to improve my vocabulary and I really like the randle way you conduct the episodes.
Happy New Year Luke, lots of thanks for all you doing for us as English learners 🧡
Hello Luke! I'm Tani. First of all, I'm not a skeleton at all. I wholeheartedly appreciate you for this podcast. It's an incredible combination of utility and fun. And your sense of humor is a tresure. My listening skills weren't good at all when I'd started listening to your podcast. Mostly because I didn't like other shows for learners of Englis and shows for native speakers were too complicated for me. And after listening to hundreds of episodes I've finally moved to the next level. By the way, this improvement happened without any pain but with joy and pleasure. My next target is to build up my writing skills. So be ready for my comments after your videos on KZhead. Thanks a lot, and best wishes to you and your family in 2024!
This is my first time listening to this podcast I couldn't imagine how interesting you are
Thanks for your podcasts! I listen almost every day!
Although talking to myself looks weird, I have to say it’s a good way to build up my confidence to use English. Thank you Luke!
Thank you so much Luke and have an amazing New Year 2024!!
Finally! I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone who listens to your podcast when I say I couldn't wait for the first episode of the year to come out. Cheers!🫶🏽🇨🇺🇬🇧🇫🇷
The wait is over 😄
Hi Luke, I've been following you on you tube for about a year,.My name is Lula, I'm an English teacher from Rome, What I want to tell you is really, I think, very nice for you! You are a very good teacher, you know how to explain things in the best way, you linger because you try to explain things in the best way (I am like you), you can't synthesise because, I think, you believe there is always a better way to say things. I thank you especially because you put me in a good mood! You are nice, sensitive and funny at the same time and in the morning when I cycle to school in Rome I always listen to you because you put me in a good mood. I let myself be taken by everything you say and if I'm nervous, I take it all in! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! If I organise a long weekend in Paris I would love to come and see you perform. How often do you go on stage? You do yoga for me, I concentrate, enjoy myself and let go of my anxieties...
You are an amazing human being Luke. Thank you for everything you do for us to improve our English
You are a wonderful teacher,i listen with attention to you
I'm here to learn British English, thank you so much Luck!
What a nice podcast after those semi boring hours of studying, my motivation
Hi Luke you are a great communicator, I am learning English with you this special language that allows communicate us the whole world. I watch your podcast and I find enjoyable and interesting
Luke thank you! It’s a great episode. Please can you read something from Shakespeare on your next video?
I am not a skeleton,haha!❤ It's a kind of practice to hold on💝 Enjoyed,felt good🎉 Thank you teacher...!
I believe confidence is the key. I barely know a few words in Spanish, but if I had to ask something like “Am I supposed to be sitting here?”, I would simply say “Me here, this ok?” (Estoy Aqui, Esto bien?) I’ve probably misspelled it in 5 places too. I have zero concerns about how it is not perfect, because I naturally assume that people are kind and would understand that I’m a foreigner.
Thank you, Luke!👍👏🤩
Hello Luke, I'm not a skeleton, I'm from Spain and I usually see your videos while I'm cooking. I love them! You are the perfect teacher!
I have heard this episode from beginning till the end. Thanks Luke, I am not skeleton. I think I will do it once again later because I like to listen to you.

Hello Luke, I'm in my early fiftees and I'v been learning English for two years consistently. I tried to act like a child and have just passed an Cambridge B1 exam. Now I'm looking strongly forward to the B2 course at a german school called 'Volkshochschule'. However when it comes to speaking especially as an introvert person I have to Deal with some difficulties. For this reason, your high amount of work is quite helpful for me. A letter full of thanks from Germany and all the best for you. Markus
Happy New Year to people of good will from all over the world🎉❤
It's me again, Luke, c'est encore moi ... For learning French: Is there anything you like to do besides family and teaching? Reading graphic novels is a very good start. Do you have a hobby? If it's something like Flemish art, you could go on very specialised museum tours for a while with the little man on your chest. Practical subjects are great too, your cookery class (truffle risotto, yum) sounds like an excellent moment. What I did: Lots of listening (still doing that with you and with BBC4 and addicted to France Culture), but also writing down in a little booklet every day the words I picked up or looked up. I didn't always fill in the translation straight away and left blank lines in between. Sometimes we guess the meaning of a word and it seems almost banal. Write it down! Keep leafing through it, crossing it out, adding to it (hence the blank lines). The booklet or vocabulary notebook can go anywhere in the pocket, and the last additions are made in the evening before going to bed. These vocabulary 'carnets' were my game changer. And be indulgent with yourself as long as the little one is so small. (Pour ta gouverne, le mot indulgent est le même en français ...) Cordialement de Berlin, Caroline
Hello everybody here especially Luke, I hope you are doing well, I am Diego from Colombia I have been watching your videos for almost one year, even I've downloaded some of them on my cellphone to listen to them several times they have really helped me a lot with my English process finally I just want to say thank you so much, and I hope to continue learning many new things from them, since all your podcast are really useful in a big amount of aspects.

Happy New Year, Luke! I’m a ninja who listens to your podcast from korea. This podcast is really helpful in improving my English skills! My favorite episode is LEP.540. I listen to this episode when I feel down and anxiety. It makes me nostalgic and helps me relax. Thank you always!

Hi Luke, I am listening to your podcast from Nepal .It is really fruitful to the people who want to improve English .Really appreciated
Thank you for sharing and motivating English learners like me. Yeap, keep going keep practicing and one day we can see a big leap. Wish you, your channel and your family all the best 🍀
I am in that intermediate plateau... The good thing, I see improvement on listenings without subtitles on ,,at least. But I still have lack of confindence in spoken English. I am a talkative person in my language. So I became a good listener with natives when I lived in London. My father was surprised about it! 😂 He told me many times to listen more and speak less. So I got his advice in the end...
This kid will have two beautiful languages as his first languages - English and French. I wish I'd had the same languages :) The ground colour for the text is really much more comfortable for eyes with this lurid greed colour. Great video! Thank you, Luke!
