    • А без отпуска он бы не смог ничего с ней сделать, резцы убил бы. Металл на гипоиды идет обычно хороший, там легирующие добавки сами по себе хорошие

  • Great job! Sometimes you just need to make a big tap. I’ve done a few. If you have the luxury of creating 2, you could have made a starter but that’s hardly worth it for a one-off. Maybe a chase with a diamond file and a sharpen on the leading edge then re-hardening could be worthwhile. Even a relief angle on the flutes. An internal threading tool and mandrel would have worked too, but this one got the job done. 👍🏻
