Rage. Avarice. Fear. Will. Hope. Love. Compassion. Long ago, the 7 emotions existed together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the guardians attacked. Only the white lantern, master of all 7 emotions, could stop them. But when the universe needed him most, he vanished. 100 years later, my brother and i found the new white lantern, a green lanter named kyle. although his lantern skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. but i belive that kyle can save the universe.

"The Justice League keeps the bodies of their enemies in a crypt beneath the Hall of Justice." They keep the WHAT of their WHAT beneath their WHAT? It's like a trophy room, man.
It's more or less a vault to prevent people from taking their bodies and doing something with them like ra's al ghul with the Lazarus pit

They really should have kept kyle a white lantern, imo. It seperated him and gave him his own identity from the other human GL's just like when Guy became a red lantern. It was one of those things that just never made sense to me.
Yeah he's my favorite of the Lanterns and I think they should have kept him as a White Lantern imo too. But I kinda get why they didn't cause he got too powerful and there would have been too many plot holes for a character that powerful.
But if they did he would be able to do anything
I think allowing him to use each ring would be great he just has to use them separately
red jaybird just turn it down then, make him more versatile but less powerful compared to other Lanterns, like Multiclassing in D&D.

I'm still mad how they treated Kyle Rayner and the White Lanterns since Rebirth. I thought he was going to have a big part with the source wall since he did have the Life Equation(part of it) and all but nope they nerfed him and pretty much threw all of him and his character development away to the side.

Sinestro and some Yellow Lantern goons managed to ambush him while he was travelling back to Oa; the goons restrained Kyle's arms and legs while Sinestro dismembered his ring-finger, transforming Kyle back to normal. He was then torn limb from limb by the goon's restraining him as Sinestro watched, telling Kyle there would be a war, and he wouldn't be there to see it.

I love listening to this channel. I work 70-80hrs a week. Music got boring, I stumbled upon this channel, bringing my love for DC even better, i don’t have time to actually read the comics and my other favorite books, so this channel is a blessing. I love everything about it.
It somehow feels like most problems exist in comics because they never talk about what the problem is but resort to punching... and if they start talking someone with no context teleports in to interupt the talking by... punching

I liked "The End", where Kyle became the old white lantern going round helping the universe and Hal and Carol got married finlay and grow old together. With sinestro telling the story to a new lantern. That is where I prefer to leave the green lantern story.

the lanterns are my favorite aspect of DC, the idea that 7 different intergalactic corps, all 7 harnessing rings of power using various emotions, to accomplish their various goals, with all groups being morally shades of gray (we've seen good versions of both red lanterns, and yellow lanterns, and we've heard lots about how the guardians of the green lanterns have done some bad shit) is so interesting and cool to me. i wish we got more content for them in terms of movies/video games, i just hope that one failed green lantern movie didn't scar the dceu for life in terms of the lanterns.

In regards to Vibrates faster than the Flash - Identity Crisis #2, I don't see anything that implies that Kyle was vibrating. Couldn't he have just been invisible? For Matches speeds with Superman as they fly to the edge of the solar system - Superman (1987) #159, aren't they just flying casually? In Travels from Earth to Oa in a few minutes - Green Lantern Corps: Recharge #1, isn't that a warp space feat?
