  • "My name is Pietro Boselli. I'm 28 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion."

  • Glimpse:- For skin. 1. Maintain correct electrolyte balance, so that skin is hydrated from the inside. 2. Avoid getting skin too dry. 3. Trying locking in the moisture, it's done naturally by producing sebum or even a moisturizer can work(try natural ones though!) 4. Try using a mild soap, and use moisturizer. For Hair. 1. Shampooing depends upon how much sebum you build and often you build, so if you have thick hair then try shampooing in 3-4 days. 2. Use warm water and mild shampoo. 3. Also try using some kind of hair oil so that the moisture locks in.

    • archraskal oh Well I think there is a difference between dirty talking and " expressing your admiration for ones physical beauty " wich can be said and quoted very differently . And my previous comment was about that . So I have no problem with someone calling him sexy , beautiful etc.

  • Pietro, I hope that you can find my comment. Thank you very much for going through and explaining how skin works. Would it be possible for you to explain how to prevent/cure acne if you are not supposed to wash your face that often? Also how do you reduce the sebum production in your face especially your nose? Or if you could direct me to a good source, I would really appreciate it. Be well, Giuseppe V.

    • I used to suffer from acne a few months ago and even changing to a vegan diet didn't solve the problem. What really made my acne disappear, including the hyper pigmentation, was changing my night routine (you can do this once a day before bed and not do anything to your skin the next day, until bed time again). I completely stopped using soap. I only washed my face with water and that was enough. If I had makeup on my face, I would take it off with witch hazel (which doesn't have alcohol in it and doesn't dry out the skin) and a cotton ball. After that, I'd apply aloe vera and some type of oil (right now I'm using avocado oil). I still follow this routine to this day and my skin is clear. When I get a pimple, which happen from time to time, it only lasts a day. Stop using these awful commercial soaps which strip the skin from its natural oil, just use water. I really urge you to give aloe vera gel a try, it's almost a miracle what it can do to your skin. Since I don't feel the aloe vera gel is very moisturizing, I top it off with some type of natural, concentrated, cold-pressed oil. Avocado oil's very moisturizing. It will also help get rid of acne scars and even smooth fine lines. But there are different types of oils for different types of skin, you can search online what's best for you.I don't know what type of skin you have - mine used to be very oily in the T zone, but it's not anymore. It was oily because your skin tends to overproduce oil to compensate for being stripped by these drying soaps, so now that I don't dry it out, it's become more balanced. Sorry for the long text, I don't even know if you'll read it, but it was worth trying to help someone out. I know the struggle.

    • latino12341 Hi, I want to be a *Dermatologist* in the future and I have been learning about Dermatology since I was 11 so hopefully I can give some information to help you. I'll try to keep it short and I'll just give points so you wouldn't get bored 😆. Sorry to say but acne can't be prevented or cured however it can be treated but there's no harm in trying to stop it. *1) Drink water and stay hydrated* - I drink around 2.5/3 litres of water a day, lack of hydration will present itself by turning your skin dry, tight and flaky (dry/flaky skin = openings for bacteria to get in and cause irritations). *2) Exercise*, your body will release endorphins, these natural peptide chemicals produced in your body interact with receptors in your brain to help you be in a better mood. Exercise helps cut stress, which may contribute to acne outbreaks. Physical activity also helps your skin by increasing your blood circulation, which sends more oxygen to your skin cells and carries cell waste away. But keep in mind that sweat from exercise can also lead to breakouts by irritating your skin. So it's important to shower right after a workout. *3)Avoid touching your face* - Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. *4) Hair products* - Avoid using fragrances, oils, pomades, or gels on your hair. If they get on your face, they can block your skin's pores and irritate your skin. *5) Sunscreen* - sun burn can cause acne to be inflamed more and increase the risk of skin cancer, so wear it every time you're out in the sun. Read the ingredients list on the back of your sunscreen, and if you're acne-prone, look for lighter chemical ingredients like avobenzone, oxybenzone, methoxycinnamate, octocylene, and zinc oxide. If you have acne, look for "noncomedogenic" on the label, which means it should not clog your skin's pores. *6) Clean phones* - full of bacteria, dirt and oils. *7) Wash pillowcases* - Acne mechanica is any type of acne that is the result of material or objects touching your face. When your pillowcase isn’t laundered or changed regularly, a build-up of dirt and oil from the environment as well as your skin and hair touching the pillow is transferred back to your skin. This can clog pores and cause blemishes. *Don't forget to wash your face twice a day, one in the morning and one before going to bed*. There are many more but you're probably not as interested as I am about skin 😂 If I was you, I would go to a certified *Dermatologist* and ask for guidance. Anyways, I know I'm not Dr. Boselli (Dr of maths) and no where near as good looking as him but hopefully I was able to help, as you're question is *Medicine* based not mathematical. Goodluck on your journey with *BEATING ACNE!!!* 😊🙌

  • Hey Pietro you are my inspiration. Because you've overcome the challenges I face at university now. You are very relatable to myself, because like you i'm studying a very difficult course (medicine), after completing my biomedical degree, (7 years in total). Like you I am also inspired by golden era bodybuilders (e.g Steve Reeves, Frank Zane), and i've been working out for years now to achieve a physique that emulates them. I know that, balancing the time for meals, working out and studying is extremely difficult. So I hold the upmost respect for you and your achievements.
