    • Ha! A colleague of mine hated them for that yrs ago, so I never considered them for cellular. Flash forward, there are few options for internet on the island, Cox has only Verizon for competition, and everyone is dying for TMobile to get to their street so they can sign up bc they're cheaper and good.

  • VIP? While standing in a crowded store, I started my service purchased an iPhone. The salesman gave me a cell phone to talk to the finance department about financing the phone, but did not tell me what it was for. While in this crowded room of people the lady on the other end wanted me to give her my Social Security number. I tried to be as quiet as I could, but they never asked if I was buying the phone out right. When I tried to explain this, they could not understand why somebody wouldn’t want their Social Security number in front of a whole bunch of people in this day and age. After using their service for about six months, I could not get signals outside of the metropolitan areas, so I already had my wife and my kid on the plan but I had to cancel my phone. I could not access the account to pay for it, could not access the account to change anything because my phone number wasn’t there. They don’t treat you like VIP, they treat you like a $.

  • For those complaining about SNL tricking you into an ad, you are aware that every product you could recognize in the world that showed up on SNL in the past decade or so has been paid product placement? Even if it looked like they were satirizing the product, they were getting it in front of your eyes, . . . and they funded SNL for that opportunity.
