  • The point here is not to make the final outcome functional and better. This is followed because it is unusual, well filmed and fun to watch. Most of these projects, once they are finished, go to waste or recycling anyway. :)

  • get that motor level down more,,, cranksharft will be starving for oil .those motors must be LEVELl,, everything then gets its proper lubrication,,. put a chain teninsoner on that chain ,,otherwise great video

  • Very dangerous transmission, you have to make additional protection over the chain, this one is not enough.

  • I noticed that the end you must have locked the suspension so it can't travel, because if you didn't, the chain would surely have slipped badly!

    @roypatterson9910@roypatterson99102 жыл бұрын
  • Only real problem I see is that the engine is mounted at almost a 45 degree angle so the dipper for the oil will be less effective meaning you might get barely any oil going onto the components of then engine

  • 18:11 The back pully mount is digging into the tire. That's also why you rode so slow. Any faster and the bumps in the ground would wreck you.

    @908__jay6@908__jay62 жыл бұрын
  • To improve more, level your carburetor. The way it sounds, it is flooding out some, or starving for gas. Also be sure your getting adequate oil flow. Your engine isn't level again, this may not allow the oil to be high enough to get splashes inside the crank case. Great build

  • Cool upgrade, a bit more fun. Only problem i see is the front fork/suspension, it has only 1-2cm travel before the wheel hits the motormount. On a dirtbike the front suspension has a lot of travel, so you should probably take a look at that. Interesting channel.

  • that thing is gonna break so quick, engine is facing the wrong way and that your suffocating the poor engine with that tiny pipe

    @gamerpreset7858@gamerpreset7858Ай бұрын
    • The engine is the right way round, hence the bike going forward ;) You are right though, it will break but because of the catastrophic design of his chain drive! Going from the back sprocket, which is obviously mounted on the swing arm, the chain goes to a fixed jack shaft, thats fixed to the frame. So as soon as you sit on it the stain will go very slack (as seen in the video)

  • i've seen a few cheaply made chinese pit bikes before, but this one takes the cake. bicycle brake calipers, and what looks like a modified bolt on bicycle engine!?! you might want to box in that frame since you have a lot more engine. you may start to get cracking in the frame otherwise from the extra weight and torque stress. edit; i was with you up until your jackshaft placement. you effectively eliminated your rear suspension. it needs to be as close to the swing arm pivot as possible to avoid the chain tension changing with suspension travel. you'll be snapping chains with what you've got here. at least now when it becomes a problem, you'll know why.

  • i have to say the time and effort you put into this is nice i love to see it, but you have major clearance issues with the front of the engine mount and the steer wheel, plus the homemade jackshaft to the rear wheel, there is no room for the suspension to compress, and adult rider would go flying off the first time they put it down after riding a wheelie, with a kid it could be manageable, but first pothole or dip offroad would send them flying i would say the effort into this build was really good, but the technical aspect is horrid i mean just look how much that rear end dropped when you hit the gas while riding it. If you really wanted to make this work you would have taken the suspension out, i see trips to the ER and frequent tire changes in the near future with this build
