  • Seeing that this is a 2 stroke, i think an expansionchamber for each cylinder would greatly improve performance and rpm limit on this pocket rocket. Awesome build 👏

    @LuxGamer16@LuxGamer167 ай бұрын
    • It's running rich. Some snowmobile engines use one expansion chamber for 2 cylinders all the time and the loss isn't too bad. His expansion chamber may not be optimal for that engine tho.

      @jjhack3r@jjhack3r7 ай бұрын
    • @jjhack3r it would work if he had both pistons firing at the same time, how he has them 180 degrees apart means pulses from 1 cylinder will work against the other and vice versa. effectively making the pipe act half as short, throwing the resonance way out of wack.

  • Very cool project, interesting build. I have a 2004 MotorHispania RX50, thing is considered a 9/10 scale crotch rocket. It has a 50cc liquid cooled engine that turns 15krpm and supposedly makes 7hp. It has 6 gears and a clutch. It won't do a wheelie easily but it does take me (250lbs) up to a max speed of 71mph, downhill, with the wind at my back. Regular riding I never usually go over 55mph

But dont be mislead, only a few hundreds of a millimeter wrong messurement, or a few degrees wrong on ignition and the engine would be useless. You, Sir, are a true professional.

  • Only problem is that since it's still a 2 stroke, it needs an expansion chamber for back pressure to define low, medium & high power bands, if it had one it would be much faster, have more torque & be more responsive, run it 40:1 or 50:1 depending upon your jet size & or squish for the headkit & you can turn this thing into a real track monster!🔥

  • Cool project. Amazed it ran. Drastically increases the torque of those cag engines but unless you change the gearing or increase the rpms you won't gain any speed compared to stock. An easier project is to fit a bzm to it. You would triple the power compared to the motor that you just created.

  • Lol, we put a YZ125 engine in my buddies Pok Bike. He ended up having to upgrade the ...Brakes, Tires, entire rear wheel, sprockets, chain, rear shock, gusset the swingarm and stiffer fork springs. Everything was destroyed/worn out in 2 weeks of thrashing. we all kinda abused it to hell and back. Rear wheel bearings GONE twice in a day was when he replaced the entire rear wheel. Pocket bikes dont like 37HP. 250cc motocross engines are way too much,(50+HP) I heard about one, and that it was all tire spin and sketchy. So I kinda like that your build it leans toward sanity, but gotta get a 60cc-80cc 2 stroke motocross engine in there! Youll be amazed what a real performance engine is like. Plus they are basically bulletproof if your not dorky with it and rev it like a spode to redline when its cold, just to show off...🤭🤨and then wonder why pistons and bottom ends never last...dar har har. Not you , many others at the track...🤪
