When the dude said "you better not blow my foot off" it was a genuine concern. But to be fair most engines are grenades we have all accepted as part of our lives.

      @martinc7561@martinc756110 ай бұрын
    • @martinc7561 i think you think engines are much weaker than you think. Theres a reason they upgrade multiple parts that dont directly give it horsepower, it overall strengthens the motor as well. Only time it becomes a grenade is when you push it past the upgraded parts spec. Once those upgrades are on, its no longer "meant" for 20 mph. Its meant for whatever horsepower the upgrades can handle within their specifications. Just like with a regular unmodded motor. Its not even close to a grenade because they're operating it under the new modification's specifications. 😂

My boss/uncle got out his mini bike and they would race. It finally evolved to them putting nitrous on the mini bike and go-cart. The mini bike was scary once the bottle started to empty you’ld have to lean forward to keep the front end down. Good times, you’re bringing back good memories.

  • When I raced gokarts, we had an open rules I raced. Only rule was the base engine had to be a Briggs 6.5hp overhead valve. We had a builder do a bunch of work and made about 40hp. Even machined in valves out of a Honda Civic. Huge carb with a triple stack pump. We ran on 110 octane gas. We tried methanol to make more power but the extra fuel needed kept washing out the rings so we went back to gas.

  • I tried the Valvoline Synthetic High milege 0w20 oil, and my engine ran like brand new! It was quite smooth, and my fuel milage went up just like the car when it was new. Same using Valvoline gear oil in my differentials in my Subaru. I'm never going back to Penzoil or Mobile 1 or Royal Purple. The reviews say Valvoline has no review tests. I wonder why? I used to work on small engines when I was a teenager back in the 1980's. This video is cool.
