  • Lots of comments about why I didn’t use my vacuum chamber and the reason why I didn’t use it this time is because I was worried about the resin starting to cure before getting it into the fridge. Jim

  • I definitely love hearing your thought process. It lifts your video up from "look at this cool thing I made", to "look at this cool thing I made, and this is why it looks like this". Every piece of wood is different, and you never know exactly what it's like or how it's going to behave until you start turning, so you explaining what you're doing and why is a revelation, and all part of it.

  • Speechless! Every week you live up to my excitement of seeing something great! Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s good to hear your thought process. I was a little disappointed by all the advertising during your video but I certainly understand business needs. And yes, designer epoxy has given me more mica colors than my ongoing projects can use but I can never have enough. In a world where customer service has all but left us completely, it’s good to know that a company is still going above and beyond for its customers. Thank you Jim, for always sharing your thoughts and talent. 😊

Genuinely I absolutely love watching you, listening to you, seeing the beautiful art you can create from some really stunning wood, and your colour choices for your epoxy, wow. Especially the hyper shift. Much much love Katrina UK. Xxx

  • Ahhhh! This is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love how you orientated the wood piece so that the windows are in the position that they are. Definitely one of my favorite pieces! Also, to echo others here, I love hearing your thought process. As an artist myself, I learn from other artists; and watching and hearing about the creative and technical processes are vital! I know that a couple of other makers here on KZhead have made second "ASMR" type channels where there's no talking, and just the shop noises and whatnot. Some people do prefer that, but I think most people enjoy hearing you talk about what's going on. Anyway, keep up the great work! Designer Epoxy

The appearance changes minute by minute, second by second. Think of it as catching the ocean in one precious moment in it's ever moving and changing dance. Brilliant work!
