Nice to see someone build one of these belt grinders with nothing but a drill press, welder, and hand tools. Most of these guys on you tube build a misle silo with tolerances within a tenth of a thousandth never realizing as long as you get the rollers in the same plane and make one adjustable you are probably good to go. I hit subscribe just because of that.
Wow, thanks!
After watching this twice, I was convinced I could do this in "10 minutes" too. But, it took 20min just to find my tape measure and still looking for my left glove. - Guess I can't.
HAHHAAHA!
Wait till you search for the 10mm socket... Absolute nightmare!

😅😂🤣👍❤️
For a shop with fairly minimal tooling, you killed it! Awesome build! 🔥💥🔥💥
Thank you!
I subscribe first, like second, third watch the video because you don't talk. I enjoy only videos that the person don't talk. Thank you
Thanks for the video. I now know I will pay $2k to buy one!
So cool master. This under my project too. Thank for sharing 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
What a super job!!! Congrats!!!
Beast. Beastmode, brother. Epic. Solid work.
Thanks, man!
a magician, congrats for your build, very nice indeed
Thank you kindly!
Beautiful belt grinder. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎
Glad you like it!
I am impressed.
Very nice. I just finished mine and we both used a lot of the same techniques.
Great 👍
That was fantastic. Nice work
Thank you very much!
Nice job! I also have a motor that is not a face amount so your idea of how to mount the motor will really help me out on my build.
Glad I could help! Thanks!
Excellent job done
Thank you! Cheers!
Well done, sir.
Wonderful effort!
Thank you!
Nice build, if I had not already started building the one from different plans I purchased I would love to build this one. Maybe my son would want one.
You had me laughing at the welding table..! I’m stealing that idea..
Go ahead!
So sweet i cant wait 2 build one , trying 2 come up with the loot
Yeah man, I love mine!
Bravo gran smeriglio a nastro sei molto professionale
Great work. I need to make one.
Thanks! Start now!
beautiful work! I would definetely choose this over the commercial products, the problem is that nobody sells them!
Check out Alec Steele's website. He has some pretty good units for sale. But I am impressed with this build. Thank you! :)
Great build.
Thanks!
I just cut like 5 million pieces of 3/8” plate for my grinder build. Good lord my little harbor freight 1x30 got a work out this weekend!
Very good job mash'Allah

Super Project!!! I enjoy it a lot. Surprised how you could turn this heap of metal into such a machine.
Thank you very much!
Big job very nice!!!

LOL The chipmunk scream at about 9:00 when the power comes on and the grinder gets up to speed had me laughing so hard.

Info is in his video description.
Good job! Like the speed holes :-)
Btw is it gasless welder you're using? All went so fast :-)
Thanks! You got it! You can also watch full version with commentaries here kzhead.info/sun/e5utmbiBZGpmZo0/bejne.html

You're a good person to know.
Amazing!
Thanks!
Before buying this sander I would use a rotary sander kzhead.infoUgkx3Pc2vLXfcgM5oIpF1iYcIWyFhHUC-G6v and didn't see the need for a belt sander. Boy was I wrong. this belt sander does the job quickly and gives a professional finish to the wood work.
very nice !
Thanks!
Brilliant build. The only thing that would make it better is a mig welder and oscillating sander so you can buff everything up nicely. Great work
Thanks for the tips!
If he used a gas nozzle and didn't weld without a gas nozzle mag, the result would be better too
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
What I learned from this video is that I will be buying a grinder 😂 you are a man with much more patience and skill than me!
That is not everyone's path for sure no
sehr schöne maschine , top
Vielen Dank!
W O W ! ! !
nice
Projeto maravilhoso amigo.. Irei me diedicar para que ele saia do seu vídeo rs. Essas medidas desenhadas, você compartilha? Brasil
Una pregunta, con que programa haces esas plantillas? Saludos de Bolivia
the front side is the place with the lower upper roller. what is the length of the connecting piece there?
Nice heavy duty build with barebones tools. Ever try using a hole saw to remove weld seam in square tube? It works pretty good on DP. Lot easier than file
ทลรตชค
That is crazy. What need?
You should get some gas MIG welding in there and you would probably really like the results.
Wow,very5 nice
Thank you! Cheers!
VERY NICE MACHINE 2 THUMBS UP, HAY THIS ONE TOOK YA 10 MINUTES NOW YA GOT IT DOWN, WHEN YA BUILD ONE TO SELL ME ............ SHOULD ONLY TAKE 7 MINUTES, JUST BUSTIN YA MAN, GREAT BUILD
Thanks 👍

Muito bom..como obter o projeto..
Always wanted a 2x72..thye cost way to much..after watching this thats the reason they cost so much!!...great work brother impressive..guess I'll buy the cheap one from harbor freight lol..awesome work once again.
I would strongly recommend to start investing in this machine, buy materials step by step, that's how I've done it. This grinder will last forever!
I might try it sometime
Wow great job , is there any plans available for this , and best place to purchase the wheels Thanks
You dont really need plans , look at it for a bit and you figure it out , tolerances arent that bad either.
Buenas noches podria poner las medidas de la maquina gracias
Top
I bought the kit from Brian and then used it to teach myself to MIG. But cutting out all the pieces without a mill or plasma cutter? Fierce.
Not everyone has access to those machines, this video here to motivate and show it could be done by hand and it will work
@@Take_And_Make It was a compliment. Take the compliment.
Nice project. I was wondering , why did you use such thick material? I see lots of very similar belt sanders/grinders that work very well but are built with less thick materials. Is there a reason for what you decided to use? Thumbs Up!
Thick material means less vibrations but he overdo it. 3/8 or 10mm is more than enough
Nice work but what type of motor did you use, it's HP, voltage, amps, frame type, and what kind of controller was used for that motor? Also, how did you connect it all together?
👍
Top..
Thanks!
good day mate.. what TPI you used for the band saw blade, thanks..
Hey mate, I don’t remember, refer to this video kzhead.info/sun/p8ijfJuPbaqsfa8/bejne.html
Great work with minimal tools. Maybe buy yourself a grinder and a flap disk and or a 1/4” air die grinder and a disk setup. Save a few hours. But still good work and great dedication bro!
There’s never not enough tools, there’s not enough motivation!
แหม่แจ๋ว❤️❤️❤️
I really like your grinder! What's the camera are you recording with?
Thank you! I use Lumix FZ1000
Where did the pattern come from? Awesome job!! Very neat!
Look for Brian House 2X72 Grinder
To make a grinder, you need a grinder. Вelicious :)))
You need a small fish to catch a bigger fish!
Why preheat before welding, is it extremely cold where you are or are you using Low Hydrogen steel. nice build. Top job, Cheers from Michael Australia.
Thanks mate! First of I had a shitty flux core welder, second of it was really cold in my garage those days temperatures dropped to negative 27C
Do you have the plans for the 2 X 72 belt grinder you built.
When you guys gonna learn how to read the description? I put everything you need down there! ► Link to Plans for 2x72 Belt Grinder ►►►bit.ly/2P1qowA
Awesome work mate, where did.you get the plans from, this is the same I would lime to build myself... just not in 10 minutes !😂
Thanks mate! Check Brian House 2X72 grinder
How many HP is the motor and where did you buy the rolls? Planning to build one😃 Thanks
1.5HP Wheels from TRMaker from Turkey
Good morning, sorry if I would like to buy one, how much is the price?
Hey, was it a case of you had that thick plate, and that's why you used it. Or do you think it needs to be that heavy. I've got some 1/4 inch thick. I'm thinking that's strong enough. Might weld nuts on, or just drill out n use nuts with bolts. Y'all give me some feed back.
Thicker metal is better, but go ahead and use whatever you got buddy.
Супер 👍
Спасибо!
гриндер получился хороший
Спасибо!
Watching him finish the radius on those pieces I couldn’t help but think… 🤨 “…Dude, you need a bigger Grinder!”🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️😬
Right?! Lol
that keyway lol
What size motor is that ?
Do you offer digital plans in CAD format? I have a CNC plasma to cut all the parts.
bit.ly/2P1qowA
Seems to be very functional. Chomped through the 3/4" square bar corner and the tool has a minimum of parts.
What is the size of your belt grinder pivot bolt and where did you get yours from please tell it would be really helpful
3/4 inch I bought it in bolts and nuts supply store
@@Take_And_Make how long and from what store exactly i have looked around for a while can find any that i know would work
Black Steel You can buy them from Brian on his site. housemade.us
Very clever..but how do you move and work so fast
Years of practice! :))
Some thick metel for you 110 welder
Belt grinder build just need a belt grinder to build it 🤣👌
LOL If serious not necessarily but it sure helps! To land a big fish you need a big bait!
@@Take_And_Make haha no wasnt actaully serious just found it funny was all.
What is the drive wheel size? Looks like about 6" or 7". Where did you source the wheels?
7” TRMaker
Nice build!!! And - also proof you can make cool stuff without a mill! But, I have to ask... was that about $600-700 worth of metal?
Less then that, but I did have some in my shop. If I was gonna buy everything, probably would pay around 450-500 I think
@@Take_And_Make Gracias!
@@ja-bv3lq De nada!
@@Take_And_Makeis that for the motor/controller and all ? Or just the metal ?
