SPAY AND NEUTER! Kittens shouldn't be having kittens, folks. Did you know that a kitten can get pregnant as young as 4 months of age? That's why you should always spay and neuter kittens before they reach 4 months of age--to prevent pregnancy and stop the teen cat mom epidemic!

These underage pregnancy stories are getting out of hand
Now there are two of them!
I’m your 666 like!
Didn't know some Tomcats were pedophiles! 😑
Does that mean the cats been rape?
ExPoSeD I mean, most cats rape each other to reproduce. But a cat being 9 months old isn’t really a kitten, it’s the equivalent of being 23. Young, but not too young to not have kids.
I had a kitten, pregnant, show up in my barn when my son was five. He befriended the little cat, who could not have been more than 8-9 months old and, when it was time for her to give birth, she came to the back door crying for my son. He sat down with her and she jumped in his lap, which is where she gave birth to three kittens of her own. I'll never forget my son's joy as each kitten was born. Once the little ones were here, our Labrador took over mothering them all, including Mama. He cleaned them and cared for them as if they were his own. The last of those kittens died a year ago at 22 years of age. I'm glad that my son, and our dog, had such a wonderful experience, but I also made sure that there would be no more kittens.
Great story

Mmmm 13 is young. I know a lot of older cats. My cat passed away last year and was 18. And we have a foster feral mama cat with us now, she gave birth to 5 kittens in 2 hours from the moment the first one came out. So I guess all cats are different 🤷🏻♀️

My cat is 10 months and she gave birth to 5 kittens and its actually a normal age to give birth
@@Kiraluvskats your cat may have given birth that young but it's not actually super safe. Just because they've gone into heat doesn't mean that they should get pregnant at that time. It's like a human. Just because girls start their period at 10-12 doesn't mean they should get pregnant at that age. The younger they are the more chances of complications for both humans and animals. Best age for cats to start having babies is around 1 year old. Any younger than that could lead to complications either health or even like this cat where it didn't understand fully how to take care of the babies (keyword 'could' not will)

She only had 3 kittens probably due to her young age/size. She was a great mother but her and our other cat Buster were fixed asap! I felt even worse because...Buster was her brother 😩😩 The kittens were fine though
How could you had let that happen? Well at least you learned from your mistakes no one is a perfect owner I wasn't one either one time (I was 8 then) I forgot to take out her litter box once (she was very picky if it was over a week of poop she wouldn't use her litter box) and she pooped on the new rug my dad took her outside and I never saw her again it was my dad's fault more then mine tbh I was only 8 and I forgot once 😑 I'm way older and I still haven't forgave my dad for what he has done I even tried sneaking her inside the house but my dad kept taking her outside my dad's girlfriend didn't even care that he was abandoning a cat she never liked cats so she didn't care I still dislike my dad's girlfriend but I don't really care to talk to her because my dad ain't gonna last with her anyway I hope someone took her to the adoption center.......she was very nice to every one so someone could pick her up if they wanted to... I was very scared because there is a family of raccoons twice her size she was a small cat even as a adult I'm gonna be getting a cat in a few years two of them and I'm with my mom now so I don't have to worry about a cat being abandoned!
Called the vet the morning I noticed my cats were trying stuff...at all of 4 months. It can happen a lot earlier than people think!
@@-weirdo-6570 name checks out
I had the same situation, I didn't know how early you had to get them fixed. I also didn't realize how important it was to get them fixed. My cat Cleo (who was 11 months old at the time) had 4 kittens. (They just turned 7 weeks old) I am getting her spayed very soon. (The kittens are fully weaned now) and all of the kittens will be spayed/neutered so that the same thing doesn't happen. After watching kitten lady I realized how important it is to get your cats fixed. PLEASE get your cat/s fixed!!!! Don't make the same mistake I did, and if you do have a pregnant cat, please get her spayed once the kittens are weaned!! And fix the kittens when they are old enough!!!
Why didn't you have them fixed sooner?! How could you let your cat have her BROTHERS kittens? Yikes! Those kittens are not doing well genetic wise and are a risk for health complications later in life..
That hissing baby melt my heart. "I SMOL PREDATOR AND I ZCARE U" Also gorgeous momma
The hiss isn't just about scaring. Far as I can tell it's just the cat version of "keep your distance." The exact nuance of it depends on a lot of non-verbal communication ranging from "I'm friendly, but I don't know you, I don trust you to come any closer" (slow blink, hiss, slow blink) to "**** off or you're getting a facefull of claws" (hiss in a flat attack posture). Probably the most important indication are the ears. Pointed forwards it means the cat isn't expecting or intending any fighting, but just saying, you know, don't get any closer. Flat ears and pointed backwards, that means a fight is at the very least perceived as a possibility. So anyway, the cute little kitten was just saying "I don't know you, stay away from me".

Oh my god this is the sweetest video I've ever seen. I swear to god I had a moment and teared up a little. It's an example of hope and beauty in the world
I just took in a young momma about 8 months old with 5 babies from a local shelter a week before Christmas. Mom is Noel and babies are Joy, Holly, Gingerbread, Garland, and Mistletoe!
Tesha Brock sweet names, much love for your little ones.

Thank you for helping them! 💜💜💜
I hope the new owners of gingerbread, garland and mistletoe give them better names.
Omg love their names!❤️
I’m sad to say poor baby Twinkle didn’t make it.. she passed away yesterday! It’s so sad when they start getting better and gaining weight. There hitting their milestones and just decline so quickly. RIP BABY TWINKLE!
How do you know?

What I love the most about your videos other than bursting my heart with the cuteness is learning all about the behaviors of the animals.
Ty so much for being there for mama and baby. If means the world!!
I love how she puts the baby on the wood because she thinks it safe, it proves she’s atleast trying to be a good mom
I also think since the momma was in a shelter for a while she grew used to sleeping on hard surfaces instead of fluffy fabric. One of my cats clearly prefers sleeping on hard surfaces as well, since we mostly kept her in large carboard boxes while she was a kitten to keep her away from older cats while giving her more space than a carrier box. And she was wetting whatever stuffing we had really fast, so she ended up sleeping on old newspapers mostly. Now she's a 5 yo lady who'll monitor you from top of a cupboard as you're going around your day and fall asleep on the job :p
De E aww that’s funny, and sounds like she’s doing well My cat who is 16 (really old) was rescued from a shelter, now she’s always on the windowsill asking for food 😂
Twinkle has passed away a few days ago leaving Pine without any of her kittens. Thankfully she doesn't seem to be suffering too much and is finally acting like a kitten! Twinkles death will not be in vain and hopefully will remind people to spay and neuter cats.
How did u know ??
Spay and neuter unless you're a breeder, or want kittens.
Kaela hello! I disagree. There are so many kittens and cats already in the world in need of homes. There are almost always litters of kittens at the shelters because un fixed cats breed year round. I really encourage people to go to a shelter if they want kittens or cats! It’s so helpful to give those cats staying in shelters and on the streets forever homes. I discourage breeding because there are so many kitties that need homes already in the world and we can’t get them all forever homes if we keep having kittens purposely bred too! So that why I discourage keeping your pets from being fixed.
DBR Liamg yes I am aware I know that there are a plenty of ethical breeders. My point is that they turn the focus from the animals in shelters and on the streets that need homes to the animals that they’re breeding themselves. If we stop purposely breeding animals when we already have a ton in the world in need of care and homes, we can get more people to take in those animals. I know that we can’t ban people from breeding or buying from breeders, I am just trying to discourage it, so that then hopefully breeders will be discouraged from breeding and we can finally get more kitties off the streets and in homes.
Noo
A lot of cat moms want to have their babies in a hidden place. They want something above them and none of the other initial options gave her that. I'm glad you realized what she wants and changed the room for her.
omg you are so wonderful. reading her wants, moving around the furniture so she can be in the spot she wants. your videos are just so brilliant.
The question ''who's the father'' stays with me through the entire video
Normally they dunno
It was a alley cat from the wrong side of the street
He probably did just like human man do when they get a woman pregnant lol
My kitty wouldn’t stop following me around when I was watching this. He loves kittens, and whenever he hears a tiny meow, he gets immediately concerned for the baby ❤️❤️❤️
Now thats just cute😸
I don't wanna be that person but... Imagine how much of a good papa/mama your kitty might be when he/she is older.
Aahh so cuteee~
Sevi Playz I thought you were going to start spitting morbid reasons why the cat would be interested in the meowing lmaooo
@@pleasehelp3319 lol i was also expecting that
I am so sorry that Twinkle passed away. But I know she had the best care in her brief time with you. Rest in peace, sweet Twinkle.
You think of everything! So nice to see mama get cleaned too. She’s a doll.
that tiny hiss is probably the cutest thing i've ever seen

Man when the little kitten was crying , my cat jumped up on my bed and meowed. I was like " this is not your baby dont worry" 😂
My kittie girl was curled up next to me snoozing and woke up concerned and had to settle herself back.
These videos are so beautiful I cry with happiness
Thanks for all the good you do to them.
It makes me so sad when a baby gives birth to a baby 😢
It is 😿
Yeah cuz kittens are still being strained to be adult cats
😂
@Abeera Khawaja she is 8 month old only, she is a kitten herself, she even don't know what to do with her kitten
@@masumi.0 you know animals age differently right 8 months is enough time for a cat to mature into an adult

That momma cat is one of the cutest I have ever seen! She looks alert, aware and fearless! :3
Thank you for taking care of mom and baby.
We had a "kitten" that had 5 kittens herself. She actually gave birth on top of my sister while she was sleeping...(by the time she woke up she couldn't afford to move)
Whaaaaat that is a wild story
@@zoelyons1264 I know XD It's not a story my family is likely to forget (or let her forget XD). All the kittens were heathy and went to good homes btw.
The level of trust between cat n ur sister is really great !!
@@ArshdeepSingh.. It really was! It might be due to the fact that my sister was the one to bring her home. 😊
So cute!!
Twinkle sure has a severe case of *cuteness* .
Dang
OMG this I LOVE
Twinkle has unfortunately passed away today from a lengthy battle with pneumonia.
Tes Ticles I cried when Hannah posted about Twinkle’s passing
I really don't know what to say except thank you. Thank you for everything you do for these amazing creatures. Thank you for the education and the hope. Just keep on being an all-star!
I adopted a stray cat of four months and two months later, she gave birth two five kittens. She was a six month old mama. All five kittens thrived and I still have three of them. They’re eight years old now.
Baby Twinkle doesn't like being alone by the sounds of it.
No. She didn't. 💔
I have a cat who also was a "teen mom." She's a pretty small cat and had four babies, but they all survived. Pretty amazing.
My kitten was the product of a “teen mom” cat. She escaped on accident and came back knocked up, they took her for her spay and the vets said she was pregnant and quite far gone! There were 3 kittens in total and thankfully they took great care of them and spayed her finally when the kittens were 6 weeks. I can’t believe how many irresponsible owners are out there that just don’t care that this happens to their cats though :(
Lunar Eclipse well she was surrendered at roughly 9 months old and pregnant to a shelter, she was also suffering from a nasty upper respiratory infection... doesn’t scream “well cared for” to me
@@BethGreenwood happened to me..cat was only 7 months when she escaped. We didn't get her back until about a week and half later and she was pregnant. She ended up having 5 healthy kittens and was actually an amazing mother! 3 boys, 2 girls! We kept a girl and the rest are now in loving homes :)
6 month teen mom, all 3 baby cat died
same but mine had 5 and they all survived as well
Thank you for all you’re doing for these lovely animals 🙏🏽💕💕
