We should try to catch ourselves when we're falling into the sunk cost fallacy. I fly back and forth between Europe and Asia, and in the last 24 years visited US twice: very disappointing place. (I visited much more between 70s-90s) He's right, everything is crumbling there compared to previous decades, and Singapore, Dubai, Budapest etc are much nicer places.

It’s because he’s a real and genuine person. He’s not reading a script anymore and even when he was, he wrote the dang thing. He has always been someone that hasn’t been afraid to think freely. That used to be a core American value. That’s how I was raised. He talked about entering ukraine in a abstract way in bukarest 2017 if it would join NATO and be armed with modern cruise missles. So fpr some it was quite obvious that that ukraine and their masters would escalate and provoke reactions. NATO is a defence alliance originally created to keep the Soviet Union from expanding. To be in NATO you have to Apply. The application process is complex and requires the approval of all other NATO members as well as the applicant to meet NATO standards. Russia, then and now, never met the criteria to join NATO. I get where Tucker is coming from and why he believes what he does but he has still got a LOT to discover that will change his mind as long as he remains (as he claims to be) open to other opinions and views.

Point is, Putin may be no angel, but the West constantly antagonizes Russia, even when ignoring its possible NATO membership. As an American who has lived in NYC for years and has been fortunate to reside in Tokyo ....it is a night and day difference - NYC is in dire shape . I urge every American if you can go visit Seoul, Shanghai, Tokyo and witness how clean & safe these cities are
